Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet went with his assumption, okay with assuming that Mina was a cute, quiet little thing, because it tickled his fancy. Of course, he'd never know for sure, but he felt pretty content in figuring that much. Well, and it was cute, and Minali embodied everything that was adorable, and so it was not hard on his thoughts. Akhet gently guided her to the water, holding her closer and closer the deeper in they got. Soon, it was past their hips, and Akhet squeezed her playfully, rubbing his wet fingers over her wet exposed sliver of tummy. "wanna get your head wet?" he teased playfully. they could still stand, but he was still totally holding her to kee her safe (and warm).

Minali Otoyome	"Ah suppose," Mina answered with a slight smirk, "Since Ah know m'husband loves t'see how mah curls spring up when they're wet, pulled straight out an' let go." Taking hold of his hands very carefully, she took a deep breath, submerging herself for just a few seconds before surfacing, her hair now dripping wet. Gasping once, for breath, Mina actually wrapped her legs around Akhet so that she could continue to hold onto him and brush the soaking curls out of her face at the same time. She did shake her hair out, as well, spraying water droplets all over Akhet - though they were in the ocean, so he likely wouldn't mind it much. Winking at him, she slowly released her underwater grip on him, letting her thighs slip away - now she could tread water a little better.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet chuckled, putting his head under real quick so that when she inevitably splashed him, he'd be ready, so to speak. he chuckled at her remark. "you know me so well, love." he winked at her. yes. he did love those wet curls. or those dry curls. pretty much anything to do with those beautifully adorable curls. He did slowly step into deeper water so that they wouldn't have to crunch into balls just to go under though. He smiled as he watched Minali go under and resurface, and held her thighs as they wrapped around him. They were smooth anyways, but the water made everything smoother, and so he also ran his hands up and down them softly. A nice little thing about ladies' bathing suits--most of them showed off about as much leg as panties. And of course, while he never said it outright, Akhet would vehemently fight against any notion to design women's bathing suits that covered too much more leg than that. xD he responded by shaking his own long-ish hair, splashing her in return as he slowly released her. He made sure to stay in reach though in case she stopped treading water (or just wanted to relax(). he'd be fine for a while, so he wasn't even worried. "having fun?" he smiled playfully at her.

Minali Otoyome	Laughing as she was splashed with water, despite being the one to have started it, Mina stuck her tongue out at Akhet. "Ah am," She informed him, treading water to the best of her ability, "S'harder than it looks; stayin' afloat like this..." To make it easier on herself, Mina moved - slowly and carefully - until she was floating on her back. "S'much easier," She told Akhet, smiling brightly, "Now Ah can talk without worryin' that m'face will go under." It was a legitimate worry for the curvy engineer, as it seemed that her body was not yet coordinated enough for swimming. Reaching out, she took a gentle hold of Akhet's hand, however, so that she wouldn't drift away too far.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet smiled. "I could teach you sooner or later." he knew she had good stamina and endurance, and so if she could get the notion of treading water down, she could probably do it like a pro. Either way, Akhet stayed close because she wanted him to, he wanted to, and because she looked cute in that bathing suit. The exposed strip of tummy was always a plus for him. On the other hand, he knew that her bulk and curves were not from fat; she was a very sturdily built woman (and Akhet loved that), and muscle didn't float like fat did. Either way, he gently squeezed her hand and smiled at her, gazing down at her face as she floated atop the water. "I'm glad you're having fun." he smiled. "I certainly am..."

Minali Otoyome	"S'is fun," Mina smiled at him, giving his hand a little squeeze, "Ah love bein' with ya, doin' whatever we wanna do... S'real nice." Then, after a pause and a little giggle, she added, "Ah guess Ah'd better enjoy it now... since, once we have a li'l one, it'll be all about them, Ah'm sure." Not that it was in the works at this very second, of course, but it was a future plan of theirs. Letting her eyes slip shut for a moment, Mina relaxed. "Ah can see why y'like th'water so much," She mentioned aloud, "S'nice an' comfortable... 'an cool, too, on a hot day." Before Akhet had come into her life, she never would have spent her day at the beach... now, the curly-haired engineer had fun and tried new things; it was great.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet chuckled. "we'll find time, even after that... but till then, aye. I am more than content with enjoying one another's company. you're pretty much the best company ever, y'know. and by "pretty much", I mean "you are."" he winked. his free hand reached underneath Minali to play with her curls which were floating under the water. his other hand held hers to keep her "anchored" so to speak. "well..." he explained, "water is my affinitive element, but it's also just so soothing and relaxing... a nice way to cool off, as you said." he smirked. "well, and you look good in a bathing suit." hew as sure she'd say the same about him, which was perfectly fine with him. before this, Akhet had led a slightly more eventless (albeit productive) life, but now that this lovely young lady was forever a part of it... well, everything just seemed so much better. he was not in any rush to go anywhere.

Minali Otoyome	"Same t'you, m'love," Mina smiled, reaching up to tap Akhet gently on the nose; she was talking both about him being the best company ever and about him looking good in his swimsuit. Though, just as her husband thought that she looked good in everything, Mina enjoyed everything that Akhet wore. Languidly floating there in the water, she did have a slight sense of disappointment, but only in the fact that she'd never learned to swim before. If Mina had known that there was something this nice, so close to her shop..? She would've been coming out here ages before now. "Ah wonder... if Ah'd've been born a bender, what m'affinitive element would've been," Mina mused, being in a contemplative mood, apparently. Then, after a small laugh, she spoke again, "Prob'bly earth, or somethin', because've m'work... an' m'build. Ah don't look like much've an Airbender."

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet chuckled at getting his nose tapped. He did have the same husband-wife bias that Minali had, but that was not a bad thing at all. She was quite adorable in basically anything/everything (or nothing; but he wouldn't let anyone else but her know that), from her cute little toes up to her lovely hips and curves, all the way to those lovely curls that he so greatly loved. He was half-inclined to join her in the floating, but if he didn't "anchor" them down, they might very well just float away. So... he settled with gazing at his lovely wife floating among the waves all dressed (okay; half-dressed--bathing suits usually showed plenty of skin) in pink. the color really suited her for whatever reason, and Akhet loved it. Akhet paused, using that question as an opportunity to glance at Minali's body. "mm... you definitely have the earthbender build down... though I could see you as a waterbender..." he chuckled, "yeah, I can't really see airbender in you... though I also can't really see something like firebending being in me, so I guess it all evens out in the end, eh?" her lack of bending never bothered him at all, and he did quietly hope it had never bothered her either. He liked her just how she was, and hoped she'd never change.

Minali Otoyome	Noticing that he used that as his excuse to look, Mina laughed and reached out to splash Akhet slightly. He was being silly. "Y'don't need an excuse t'look at me anymore, y'know... s'not like we're not familiar with one anothers' bodies, Love," She scolded lightly and playfully, scrunching her nose up at him, "Besides, Ah know y'like ta look, by now." Being a waterbender, though... that would be interesting. Still, Mina didn't think that she needed those abilities, really. Akhet generally only used his to make things more convenient - and she certainly wasn't a fighter or anything like that. So, honestly, being a bender might be lost on Mina, anyway.

"I know... but I don't have to stare at you all the time, y'know. just most of the time." he teased, before planting a playful little kiss on Mina's exposed belly button. he'd probably tease her a bit before allowing them to return to shore or whatever else they wished to do. Either way, she was adorable, and so if it turned into a splash-fight, he'd join. While he didn't often use them for such, Akhet did train in the art of combat a bit when he could. Of course, if he used his banding against other people, it would be in self-defense. He didn't need to start anything with anyone else, and so he'd mind his own business. Besides... he was good enough with hand-to-hand combat, and figured Minali couldn't be too shabby at it either given some of her history... at least back in their school years. "so you fine with floating out here a bit more, or did you want to go back up to shore and dry off?" he was fine with being out here with her, but was also excited for tonight.

Minali Otoyome	"We should prolly head back now, t'get ready," Mina agreed, moving so that she was no longer on her back, but still holding tight to Akhet's hand, "Since we've got plans fer tonight... ~" She was also excited for the festival, being that it had been ages since she'd been (though Mina had mentioned that earlier). It should be really fun, and being with her husband would make it all the sweeter. Oh yes, Mina could be a scrappy little thing when she needed to be. That was why she made her psuedo-earthbending device a simple over-fist, rather than a whole machine, so to speak. It just seemed natural to augment, instead of creating a whole new system.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet smiled, putting his head under to wet his hair again, just to flip it and feel the water against his scalp. "alright then... let's get back..." he held her until they could stand again, and walked back to shore where he grabbed his tower, drying off as he tossed Minali's to her. "hope you had fun," he smiled sweetly; he knew she had, given her expressions, but it didn't hurt to make cute remarks like that. He too was excited for tonight (well, this afternoon). festivals were fun, but were even more fun when with one's spouse. ^^ he threw his shirt and sandals back on once he had dried off, and waited for Minali, his hand extended for her to take once she had finished drying off. He actually really liked that Minali was a scrapper, and that she was tough, and solidly built. He had grown up in a family/household where roughhousing was the norm, and he had always hoped to find a spouse who enjoyed it as well. Thus, finding Minali was wonderful in even more ways, because he did roughhouse with her quite a bit, much to both of their enjoyments. "so... what's the plan when we get home, love?" he kissed her cheek as they walked, "we going to get dressed for the festival tonight? or is there anything else in between you wanted to do?" he'd have normally suggested dinner, but he figured they could indulge on festival treats, which he was sure would be there in abundance.

Minali Otoyome	Though she took a little longer to dry than Akhet did, Mina was soon finished and slipping her cover on over her swimsuit. Once her feet were shod in her sandals, she took her husband's hand, smiling just as sweetly back at him. "Ah did have fun," She assured him, "Ah always have fun when Ah'm with ya...~" The walk back to their place was thankfully short, so they were inside again quite quickly. "Unless yer sick of water..." Mina began, in a teasing tone, "Ah think we should wash up before gettin' dressed, t'wash th'salt water off've our skin 'n out've our hair." Plus the sand, of course, which could be a bit grating and rough, once dry. She was thinking of either a trip to the basement hot tub, or a run through the shower; whichever Akhet would prefer - they had time for either one.

"well... there's never a dull moment when I'm with you." he complimented her, watching her finish pulling on her cover, her curls fluttering in the breeze. It was not to boast that he was the sole reason for the excitement, but rather to compliment her in saying that she made his life exciting--which she did. They were home soon, and Akhet kissed Minali's lips, saltwater and all. "well a waterbender getting sick of water would be a sad story indeed," he joked, "so no worries there..." Then of course, there was the question of where to wash the water off. "hmm... I think a trip to the hottub sounds good to me... what do you say?" he was already shedding his sandals and his clothes, heading for the basement, figuring that Minali would follow. They'd be soaking and relaxing in no time.

Minali Otoyome	She did, in fact, follow Akhet down the stairs, thinking that he had chosen well. "Ah'm good with a nice soak," Mina did say, taking her dress off as they descended the stairs, "N' we got time fer it, so there ain't any worries about takin' our time." That would be the worst thing; to have to try and hurry through it. By the time they reached the bottom of the stairs, Mina was undoing the laces on her swimsuit top, getting ready to get in. Akhet could get the water going on his own, of course, since he didn't even really have to use the crank. Still, she began to turn the mechanism anyway, so that there would be no chance of damaging the pump they'd worked so hard on. Soon enough, the tub would be full and hot, ready for the couple to wash away their afternoon sand.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"then I can play with your wet curls," he chuckled. he would do that anyways, regardless of how wet or dry they were though. he smiled at the fact that they did in fact have plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other's company, and so there was no need to rush he. Naturally, Akhet did watch Minali as she disrobed, and he began to do the same himself. Sure normally they could get away with wearing their bathing suits into the hot tub, but since it was just the two of them... why bother even wearing that? Akhet did help get the water going, but didn't try to force it all through at once, and ruin the lovely mechanism they had designed for this. Not that they couldn't repair it, but it was a lot of work, and why make repairs on something he didn't even have to break? within a few minutes, it was full and steaming, with bubbles gently rising to the surface (and the two of them were naked). "After you, lovely." he pecked her lips before stepping into the tub with her, putting his head under to wet his hair. ooooh yes. this always felt good.

Minali Otoyome	Following her husband into the hot tub, Mina slipped under the water, practically purring with pleasure when she surfaced - the water was nice and warm, after their cool ocean dip. "This's perfection...~" She murmured, reaching up to brush both hands over her hair, smoothing the curls back into place. Oh yes, Mina was ready to relax until it came time to get dressed to leave. She did run her hands over her body a bit, as well, to help get rid of any loose sand there might be. The bottom of the tub might need cleaning out later, but that would be easy enough.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet couldn't help but stare admiringly at her for a few moments, before letting his hand trace down the side of her head, face, and jaw. those curls of hers were heavy with water and he loved it. "I couldn't agree more." he shifted closer to her, so their hips nearly touched. he brushed himself off to rid his skin of any loose sand particles, but otherwise stayed calm and relaxed, periodically dipping his head under in case he had gotten any sand in his hair. He wasn't worried about the potential accumulation at the bottom of the tub. he could extract the water with his bending, and either the sand particles would come with it, or would be left behind for an easy sweep-up if they didn't go down the drain. "anything else we need to do before the festival?" he asked her, "what are we going to wear?" if the answer to the first question was no, he'd be perfectly fine with chilling in the hottub until then.

Minali Otoyome	"Nothin' Ah can think of," Mina answered easily enough, moving so that she was in front of Akhet so that she could wrap her arms around him, pulling them closer together. She didn't take too long to get ready, and it wasn't like she had planned on getting extremely dolled up, so they could really just take their time. As far as what to wear... "Well, sometimes there's dancin' at th'festival, ain't there? Or'm Ah thinkin' of a different one?" She couldn't quite remember, at this point, but the answer would affect her decision on what dress or skirt or whatever that would be chosen. Mina liked all of her clothes, of course, but a dress would probably be better if they were dancing, so it wouldn't accidentally flip up and show off her panties.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"lovely..." he kissed her nose as he pulled her closer and wrapped his own arms around her. He was a guy; getting ready for him was literally just throwing on a shirt and some pants and maybe slipping his feet into some sandals. He might take a bit longer if it was something formal, but he figured that some nice casual would work for an event like this. "I think there is..." he wasn't entirely sure himself, but hoped there was. festivals did seem to have music and dancing... it just felt proper. "so I'd say dress accordingly." he smiled. then in his playful tone, he added, "or don't. I'd love to dance with my naked wifey before we left." he grinned dorkily before smiling in a more gentle manner. "nah, I kid. we'll get dressed for dancing, I reckon. I'll probably wear something blue; light and breezy; some sandals or something I could dance in." it wasn't like he was going to be doing anything too fancy. "how about you?" he liked hearing her talk about clothes and what she liked to wear. Well, and he loved hearing her sweet, adorable voice (and accent).

Minali Otoyome	Mina giggled, nipping at the very tip of Akhet's nose playfully. "If y'wanna dance nekkid, Ah guess we could do it right here in th'tub?" She offered, keeping her hold on him, however. That would be pretty cute, though; a water-waltz of sorts. As far as what she would wear, however... "Ah think Ah'd wear a dress fer dancin'," She told Akhet, leaning so that she could rest her head on his shoulder, "Somethin' nice an' flowin'... maybe th'blue one Ah got t'match yer stuff - or m'favorite little pink one." Those were common choices of hers, but they suited her so well.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet mused about the dance thing a moment, but did not say anything just yet. He let her lean against him for a while as they discussed what she'd wear. "you gonna wear your cute little dancing shoes?" he smirked at her. she didn't have a specific pair of dancing shoes, but he liked hearing details of everything she wanted to wear. it was a nice mental picture. See... Akhet might have had thoughts of Minali naked a lot, but he also had thoughts of her dressed up all cutes--because she was adorable. Literally anything Minali did became adorable somehow. "maybe a ribbon in your hair?" Then he laughed, standing up. "well then, my lovely lady... may I have this dance?" he offered his hand to her, taking her into a slow waltz-like dance across their little hottub. it felt quite nice actually, to be honest. And of course, it was pretty dang cute, so even Akhet wasn't complaining. For one, Minali made anything cute, and for two, Akhet loved cutes.

Minali Otoyome	Their slowly moving and twirling bodies caused ripples and waves across the surface of the water, which came back to splash against their hips and sides. Mina giggled about this, but thought that the whole thing was terribly romantic - she loved every second of it. This continued for a little while, during which she decided that she was definitely a fan of the hot tub waltz. "Ah thought Ah could wear th'white ones," Mina answered Akhet as they danced, a little belatedly, "Th'ones that've got pink flower patterns on 'em, and th'headband t'match... What d'you think?" He seemed to like her clothes as much as she did, which Mina thought was very cute.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	it was cheesy sure, but Akhet found himself fond of this little dance they did too. Of course, the way Minali felt about it impacted his decision greatly, and so the fact that she loved it meant that he had loved it too. It was hard for him (read: impossible) to not be happy when she was so happy. her smiles and laughs were contagious. It was just another thing he loved about her. Akhet's smile widened as she described what she'd wear. he liked that as well because she was literally cute in just about anything. "oooh... I like that idea. you should totally do it..." he grinned. yup, that was his approval. he did sit back down after a few minutes though, soaking his head again and hoping Minali would join him to relax a bit more. The dance had been fun, and the rest of the evening was set to be similarly entertaining--and involve dancing, no less.
