Chouhi	"I'm alright. Just this bite in my leg and a few scratches, don't worry about me," Chouhi said in response to Cyrad. When Kei gave the orders, she pushed off of Cyrad gently and took on a defensive stance. Sure it hurt, but she still needed to fend off any monsters that came her way. She stabbed her sword into the ground as another creature came running towards her. Using as much power as she could, she swung her leg violently across her body. Her foot connected with the monster's head and sent it flying off into the side wall. Sucking her teeth at the sudden sting of pain that shot through her body, Chouhi decided that she'd continue fighting in hopes that the ancient city had alcohol hidden somewhere. She fought off the monsters in front of her so Cyrad could seal the rest of the entrances.

Ahlya	The amount of these demon monsters coming through the wall was becoming rather suffocating. There was no way, at the rate in which they were arriving, that the expedition party would be able to defeat them all. It was like an army from a nightmare. Finally, Kei gave out the order to seal off the entrances to which Ahlya was happy to oblige. Both she and Cyrad began to seal off the doorways and collapse tunnels that led to the room. Now and then they were distracted by the increasingly annoying (while still terrifying) monster infestation and had to stop their progress in order to slay a few. They were also delayed when Cyrad ran to the aid of the seemingly sobering Chouhi who had taken on a pretty serious leg injury that Ahlya figured needed immediate attention by Jurishe. Thanks to the moody airbender lady, though, that wasn't going to happen immediately seeing as how she swooped down to save the healer. Ahlya was starting to get tired, and there were way too many entrances for just her in the short amount of time she had to save her life and collapse the tunnels. After a minute or two, Cyrad came to the rescue to help her continue to seal off the room.

There were four entrances into the room remaining. After Cyrad knew Chouhi was going to be okay Cyrad turned to Ahlya and told her to take the two that were closer to the group while Cyrad would take the two at the other end of the room. The only problem was the swath of creatures between him and his goal. He couldn't risk throwing rocks to block of the doorways in case he crumbled the wall and made things worse. So he charged the beasts.

He ducked under a claw and came up with his sword in another's belly, he flung it aside and proceeded to kick another in the chest sending it rolling backward. Luckily, these creatures weren't smart so one bit down on Cyrad's rocky shoulder. That one he killed with a poke through the eye. He tossed himself a few feet further with a quick column jump, though he landed on one of them and fell prone. One of the monsters bit into his leg and several of them scratched him across his body. He slammed a fist to the ground and fired up dozens of projectiles that killed those swarming above him. He only had a short distance to travel to be in range of the doorway now and was able to make the gap quickly.

With the two doors shut and Ahlya having shut those he designated hers there were no more of the things pouring forth, though there were still some left. Cyrad had no desire to deal with them though so he hit the wall causing a block two feet thick and five across to jut out and start to run along the wall, above the heads of the creatures and around the room back to the group. Cyrad took that path while his companions finished off the things. When he was back above the group he lept off his path and hit the ground, but crumbled for a moment before standing up. The bite on his leg was worse than he had thought, though the bleeding wasn't too bad it must have torn some of the muscle inside.

Kei	After Cyrad and Ahlya managed to seal the doors using Earth Bending, the battle quickly turned in the favor of the Expedition crew. The hardest part about fighting the abominable creatures was their overwhelming numbers. With their numbers taken away, it was simply cleaning up the creatures that were still left in the room. Kei let everyone heal up and rest before he would share his plan they could follow in order to get past the horde of creatures. Kei asked the group, "Does anyone have an idea of what the things that attacked us are?" After everyone was ready, Kei shared the next course of action he believed they should follow. "The biggest problem with fighting those creatures was how they were surrounding and overwhelming us from all sides. If we remove this factor, defeating them is no huge challenge." Kei looked at Ahlya and Cyrad, "Both of our Earth Benders sealed all of the doors those creatures were coming from. However we need to also go through one of those doors, so we have to open them." Kei smiled, "So this is the plan, we open one of the doors. Even though the strange creatures will be on the other side, they will only be attacking us from one direction. This should make them easy pickings and we should have no time slaughtering them as we work our way through the building." "Any objections?"

Chouhi	After being healed (again) by Jurishe, Chouhi decided to take a nap. She seemed to have woken up after everyone else had healed also. "Does anyone have an idea of what the things that attacked us are?" "They had a human body, pointy ears, claws, and leathery skin. Not to mention they were hideous, there's a few possibilities as to what they were. Maybe they were common predators for the lost city, maybe they were protectors of it. Or..human experiments gone wrong even." Chouhi scratched the back of her head as she thought of further possibilities. She stopped her thoughts as Kei began to explain their next plan. She would be prepared this time to fight off the creatures. Chouhi glanced around at the others when Kei asked if anyone had any objections.

Cyrad kept quite and out of the way as the group slew the rest of the creatures that were plaguing them, without the constant income of allies they fell quickly with little gain. When they were done Jurishe healed everyone and while she did Kei and Chouhi discussed what the creatures could be.

"They could just be the people who once lived here, with time and without civilization they could devolve into simple creatures in a human form." Cyrad added.

When Kei told of him of his plan to go forward Cyrad agreed with it mostly. "Kei that's a good idea but I think we should put thought into how we are going to proceed, in hallways we won't be able to fight as warriors so perhaps a battle column, with me and Chouhi in the front and two others with melee or close combat skills behind us to switch out if we get tired, then ranged benders behind them and Jurishe in the back," He turned to Jurishe. "No offense but your too important for us to risk you getting hurt."
