Minali Otoyome	Despite how close she was to Kei's skin, Mina was actually paying no attention to the way his body actually looked. She took the measurements, of course - and far more of those than she originally anticipated - but other than that, she wouldn't be able to remember what he looked like, as soon as he was dressed again. Mina was also a professional, and this was just a necessity of her creative process. Not like she was a pervert or anything. "A'right," She nodded finally, rolling the measuring tape back up, "Ah'm all done." With a sigh, Mina got up from her kneeling position - she had been measuring Kei's instep - and stretched out her back. "Y'can git dressed now," She offered, glancing at her client before moving to Akhet's side, to read the numbers that had been written down. After looking them over, it seemed that Mina had decided several things at once. "Ah think Ah should have a workin' prototype in... maybe two days? D'ya think you could come back then? Test it, 'n such?"

Kei	Thankfully, nothing bad happened during the measurements like Kei had originally feared and was relieved. When it was all over, Kei quickly threw on his clothes and equipment. The woman had told Kei that the prototype should be done in 2 days and that he should comeback then. Kei agreed and left the store. Over the next two days, Kei simply hung around Fire Fountain City doing random jobs. After two days had past, Kei returned to "Toys Of The West" to see if the Launcher was complete. Kei walked into the store and saw that there were no other customers. "Hello?" Kei called out as he was entering the store announcing his arrival.

Minali Otoyome	There was a loud clattering - akin to the noise that a komodo-rhino might make on stairs - and then Minali was bounding into the shop. She looked a little worse for wear, what with grease stains on her arms and clothes, but otherwise exhilarated. "'Ey!" She called out, wiping at her forehead with the back of her arm, "Yer just in time! Ah think s'gonna work, this time!" With that lovely, confidence-inspiring statement, she waved at Kei to follow her back down into the basement workshop. "Ah had t'make th'containers outta metal an' glass, so th'chemicals'd mix in time, but Ah think it works right nice. 'N now it gets about twenty, twenty-five feet've distance on 'em - or, did fer me..." Trailing off with a shrug, she reached the bottom of the wooden stairs and gestured toward the finished prototype, "Here she is!" It was made of metal, of course, and had a rather long barrel. The hand-hold was wrapped with leather, for now, and it seemed that the flashbang cylinders would be loaded into a revolving chamber, for firing.

Kei	"Oooh," Kei said not bothering to hide his surprise upon seeing the finished product. Kei hadn't expected the launcher to be a revolver, he was expecting a single shot than reload type weapon. "I like this revolver mechanism you added. Can it fire other ammunition types yet?" Kei asked Minali as picked up and inspected the weapon. The launcher wasn't too heavy and felt comfortable in his hand. It was clearly made of high quality materials. Kei asked Minali with a smile, "Did you give this thing a name?"

Minali Otoyome	Grinning proudly, Mina answered the last of his questions first: "Ah've been callin' her th' Multi-Use Long-Distance Multi-Ammunition Launcher! ...Or, fer short, th' Jill of all Trades. Since 's a she." It might sound silly, but it was kind of like how master sword smiths always named their blades "quick death" or "blood wrought"... only Mina was more literal and less cliche. Then she began launching into an enthusiastic speech about the weapon itself... which Akhet surely found cute, but who knows what Kei thought of it? "Th'revolvin' cylinder can old up t'six rounds at a time - yer choice which ones, but Ah've only gotten th'flash bangs up 'n runnin', so far." Taking a deep breath, she continued, "Ah've also been tryin' to perfect those explosive rounds, 'n also some smoke ones... Ah just need t'adjust the chemical levels on 'em, an' they should be good." Once finished, Mina gave a small bounce in place, still showing her excitement. "...D'ya wanna fire a test round?" She asked, rather suddenly, pointing across the room. There, on the far wall, a posted had been taped up... painted on the paper was a crude, bright red target.

Kei	Kei happily accepted Minali's offer to fire a test shot and loaded a single Flash-Bang into the one of the ammunition chambers. Kei readied the MULDMAL for firing and pointed it at the red target standing about 15 feet away from it. Kei pulled the trigger and the Flash-Bang flew out of the muzzle of the gun and hit the target releasing an explosion of bright, white light and a loud "Ping!" Too excited to fire the weapon, Kei forgot to cover his ears and looked directly into the white light. Kei was momentarily blinded and his ears were ringing. Kei was stumbling around the room covering his eyes with one of his arms and was reaching out with the other arm to ensure he doesn't walk into anything dangerous. Kei turned to face Minali, but he turned the wrong direction and wasn't actually facing her when he began to talk. "IT WORKS GREAT!" Kei yelled because he couldn't hear himself since his ears were ringing. "I PRAISE THE MASTERPIECE YOU MADE! WHEN DO YOU THINK THE OTHER AMMUNITION TYPES WILL BE COMPLETED?!"

Minali Otoyome	Thankfully, Mina had covered her ears with her hands, and her goggles had protected her from most of the flash - it had still caused bright spots to appear momentarily in her vision, however, and so she was rubbing at her eyes when Kei began shouting. Letting out an involuntary little "gah!", she nodded, realizing what must have happened to her customer. "Ah... THANKS!" She shouted back, so that he'd be able to hear her, "AH THINK AH CAN HAVE 'EM FINISHED BY TOMORROW OR TH'NEXT DAY - ISSAT ALRIGHT?!" Good thing that Akhet was out picking up a few things, or this probably would have brought him running downstairs in shock. Pushing her goggles back to hold back her curls, Mina moved over to her work station, where she had various chemical components and containment units laying out. "AH CAN SHOW YA WHAT AH'VE GOT SO FAR, IF Y'LIKE?" She offered, assuming that Kei still couldn't hear her very well.

Kei	"Sure." Kei said, his ears were no longer ringing and he was slowly regaining vision. Upon regaining vision, Kei saw that he wasn't facing Minali, but rather a wall. Kei turned around and pretended that didn't happen. Kei walked over to Minali and waited for her to point out what everything laid out on the table was.

Minali Otoyome	Though Mina did try to explain things in layman's terms, she spoke a mile a minute, which likely made it difficult to follow. Most of the chemicals that she was using had several different names, as well, and she had a tendency to use all of them, while she was explaining. The smoke bomb cartridges were just missing the right amount of a single component, it seemed, and they would be finished, while the explosive rounds were giving her more trouble. At least, that's what it sounded like. The most important part was that, while the combinations that she had tried did work, they didn't always combust at the right times, which made them rather dangerous or ineffective. "Ah just need a li'l more tinkerin', to get 'em just right," She finished, finally looking back up at Kei.

Kei	Kei did his best to follow along with what Minali was talking about, but he was completely lost. Kei simply nodded along pretending to understand what she was talking about. She said that the different other ammunition types were nearly done, but it would take a bit more time. "How much longer do you think they will take until they work properly?" Kei politely asked.

Minali Otoyome	"Probably by tomorrow, 'r maybe th'next day," Mina reiterated, knowing that he probably hadn't heard her very well, while still affected by the flash bang, "Ah'm pretty sure Ah've almost got it, but y'know how those things go... Y'think you've got it, 'n then it's explodin' in yer hand, destroyin' yer workroom." Of course, Kei probably didn't know how that particular aspect of inventing went - at least not first-hand. Standing up from her work, Mina brushed her palms off on her shorts, thinking things over. "So... as long as th'device 's th'way you want it...?" She let that bit trail off as a question, but continued along with her thought anyway, "Ah should be able t'fix it up a tiny bit, git th'rest've th'cartridges workin'... 'n we can just discuss th'final cost. Sound good t'you?"

Kei	"I looks and feels great," Kei told Minali happily, "Truth is that I'm very interested to how the other ammunition types works. That'll have to wait until they work properly though, I'd prefer not too lose my hand in an accidental explosion." "As for the price," Kei continued, "I suppose the payment I showed you the other should be enough to cover the MULDMAL and a decent amount of each ammunition type?" Kei hoped the gold bar was enough at least, he didn't have much other wealth on him."

Minali Otoyome	The young inventor seemed hesitant to respond to that, one way or the other. "Ah would... think so? M'husband usually takes care've that bit've th'business - keepin' track've material cost 'n such, y'know. Ah make it, he sells it," She explained, taking her goggles off and fiddling with a magnifying device on the side of them, "Pretty sure he'll be here tomorrow, though, so if y'wanna drop by 'n talk to 'im..?" There was some good news that she could tell him, however: "Ah'm gonna make up a couple dozen've each type. Does 'at sound like enough fer a bit?" She, of course, had no idea what Kei intended to use it for.

Kei	"A couple dozen of each ammunition type should be more than enough to last me a good while. When ever I need more, I will just return here." Kei told Minali with a smile. "Well, I must head out for the day, cucumbers are on sell only today at Lena's Garden and I need to hurry before they are all sold out. I will return here tomorrow, so until then, later." With that Kei walked out of Toys Of The West and went to go buy himself the cucumbers. Kei returned the very next day at the same time to check up on the progress of the MULDMAL. "Hello?" Kei called out as he walked into the Toys Of The West

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet was manning the counter of the shop while Minali was working downstairs. He was definitely the better businessman in terms of handling money, although it was not so much something he flaunted rather than just something he did. He knew they were expecting a customer sooner or later, and so he was just sitting at the counter, sketching an image of Minali in the meantime (thankfully, it was one that depicted her clothed. he was drawing, more precisely, some of her facial expressions). Sure enough, the man from yesterday came in to greet him, and there was Akhet waiting for him (well, not necessarily for him, per se, but yeah). "mornin'," he replied, "I take it you're here about the flash-bang launcher?" he asked him, "Mina's downstairs. I suppose I can take you there since we can discuss business just as easy here as we can down there, yes?"

"I didn't catch you yesterday," Kei began to tell the man, "but I was pretty amazed at the results of the MULDMAL."

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"No problem," Akhet shrugged with his usual smile, leading him downstairs, "I'm glad you liked what you saw yesterday. There's surely been much more progress at this point." he was not one to talk up Minali's skills... except that he totally was, but Minali had the skills to back it up. "Mina!" he called out, "there's someone to see you!" she'd learn who it was soon enough, and it also helped because he still didn't know the man's name and had forgotten/not bothered to ask.

Minali Otoyome	"Perfect timin'," Mina called back, "Ah just finished!" She had been at her work bench, of course, and had, in fact, just finished making the final dozen or so capsules for the MULDMAL. Though she wasn't positive that Akhet was talking about their customer, she figured that he must be, and so didn't bother to clean the items away. Once she saw both men on the stairs, she offered a wave before pushing her goggles back to hold her hair, rather than protect her eyes. "Ah got th'launcher all spiffed up, th'cartridges ready, 'n Ah can have it packed up in a jiffy."

Kei	"That's great too hear." Kei happily exclaimed. He couldn't wait until he got the MULDMAL. Kei reached into his Trench Coat and pulled out the same Gold Ingot that he had shown from the other day. Kei faced Akhet whom he was standing next to and said, "Your wife told me I should ask you in terms of payment. Is the gold bar we agreed upon before still enough?"

Minali Otoyome	While the men discussed payment, Mina wrapped the MULDMAL in insulated silk fabric - best for keeping those pesky static electricity sparks from messing up delicate pieces - and gently packed it into a carrying case. She had modified the case from an old water-pump case that she had laying around, but now it looked as if it were made for her invention (technically, it was, now). The ammunition was next; while the flash bangs were already boxed up neatly, the smoke bomb cartridges and the explosive rounds needed to be counted and packed up as well. Mina went about it in a way that might've made a non-engineer nervous, simply cramming them into the small cardboard boxes. She made them to withstand a decent amount of handling, after all, and so they would only 'go off' when they were shot out of their launcher.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Whilst Minali squared away the materials and goods and such, it was Akhet that was to manage the business portion of it, which was namely, the payment. They had sort of already agreed on a price, and so this would not take long at all, especially because their client seemed to have remembered the offer as well. This was a good thing, because Akhet would not want to have to haggle over a proposition that had already been made or something. Akhet thus nodded at the question. "Aye... I do believe it shall suffice." it was generous, though Akhet felt justified by virtue that this was a first-time invention rather than just a finely crafted specimen (although it was that too). "so unless you have any objections, sir, we can finalize the deal here and now." he gave a very professional smile and awaited the answer.

Kei	Sure some might have considered the gold bar to be a very generous offer, but it didn't bother Kei. He felt it was worth it. Plus, Kei really needed to get rid of that gold ingot before certain people began suspecting he had it. Kei handed the man (Akhet, they still never introduced themselves) the gold bar and the woman (Minali) gave Kei the MULDMAL and all the packed ammunition types. Kei thanked the couple once again then left the store. The MULDMAL became a part of Kei's arsenal of equipment and was a really useful weapon. Of course Kei went back to the "Toys Of The West" every now and then to restock on ammunition, so this wasn't the last time he saw Minali and Akhet, though he never did learn their names as no one ever bothered to introduce themselves.
