Minali Otoyome	She did look, once, and had to giggle when he pushed at her. "Ah am!" Minali giggled, moving back to her spot on the workbench. She had already hammered out the note-making part of the device, that would spin and play music, and she had set the miniature motor to the proper speed. Now, all that remained was the create the metallic figure that would act as the stand for the music box. Minali was still thinking about that part....

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	laughing as he lifted the paper to his face to hide it from her, he decided to joke a bit with her as "punishment" for such a thing. "Don't make me pull those shorts down and grope your butt!" he teased, not actually serious because he knew that she did not like him watching her remove her clothes (He just saw it as another cute and slightly odd quirk of hers), "because I will." No he wouldn't. but it was worth teasing sweet Minali over. He had drawn most of her details now and was working on adding her clothes. as he finished drawing her boots and the lines that were those cute socks she almost always wore, he contemplated just skipping that step altogether, but then chuckled to himself mentally and decided against it, adding the rest of her clothes in. She was leaning against a large device that he now needed to add detail to. it sort of resembled a cross between some of her other devices, and so was not based off of just =one in particular.

Minali Otoyome	Finally, Minali decided to fashion the music box to look like a seal-turtle. The shell would hide the music box and motor, behind octagon-cut panes of colored glass, and the rest would be shaped out of metal and gears. Pleased with the idea, she began to work, first using a small blow-torch to fit the glass into the metal; as she did this, she wore thick leather gloves and a face-mask. Once that was finished, she simply bent and pulled the metal into place, and soldered the mechanics of the music box pieces into place.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet continued his drawing, adding every little detail to her clothes that he could see or remember, including the thin "stripe" lines on her socks, and even dotting her cheeks with freckles and adding the buttons on her blouse. He gave her a really cute smile, although it clearly looked like hers too. He was good at what he did. he began to add finishing touches to his project right as she did. He might color it some other time, and would be glad to do so if she wanted him to. "You done?" he asked curiously, totally fine if she wasn't. He was not going to rush her at all.

Minali Otoyome	"Almost... there!" Minali answered happily, though moving to cover her machine. "So...~" She smiles, turning to look at Akhet, "Who gets t'show first?" She was teasing, but it was a fair question. The music box had turned out beautifully - she was really proud of it. Hopefully the melody matched up with his lullaby... That was the only thing she wasn't sure about. She had left a clasp, though, on the underside of the seal-turtle's shell, so that she could adjust it, if need be.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"well... ladies first... so that means you get your prize first." he smiled, glancing at his drawing of her. It was not colored, but it was very obvious who it was, even without the name "Minali" written in stylized wording above the page. his autograph was in the corner not really drawing attention to itself; just his way of marking his work. "So... here you go." he handed it to her, blushing slightly as he handed it to her. She was in a casual pose, dressed in her stylish work clothes that he loved of hers. She was leaning against a massive machine that looked like a combination of four different ones--as if it could manipulate Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. It was not very detailed, and surely she could point out numerous flaws in the design or something, but he did sort of wing it, adding stylized parts to represent the four elements in different ways, even if they wouldn't be practical on a real machine. It also looked difficult to carry, but it still looked cool, and the proud expression the Minali in the drawing had clearly showed that even if this was the case, she was still proud of her invention. He waited to see how she would react, and then would eagerly wait to see what she made for him. He had told her that he would draw something, but ad no idea what she would make for him.

Minali Otoyome	After looking at the picture for a moment, her gaze drinking in the details, Minali gave a squeal. Bouncing around in place, slowly turning a circle, she continued her gleeful sound, looking at her likeness. "S'beautiful!" She told him, when she finally stopped, "Y'drew me! It's ME!" She had no idea, and she was thrilled. He'd captured her perfectly, and the machine - though not necessarily accurate - was gorgeous in the picture. She had nothing bad at all to say about it.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Akhet could not help grinning ear to ear at how excited she was. And those squeals... those adorable wonderful little squeals. He laughed as she bounced around excitedly in place, as he found it too adorable to resist. "yep." he smiled, now rather proud because of the effect it had had on Minali. "It's you. the machine might not be real... but I paid extra attention to all the many little details about you." He had, including her freckles, and how one of her curls hung a little ways way from the others, and how she always had (only) the top button of her blouse unbuttoned, and the way her lips curled when she smiled. he smiled up at her, waiting now for either another reaction, or for her to show him what she had made. Either one would be fine with him, especially given his expression.

Minali Otoyome	Throwing her arms around him, Minali hugs Akhet thoroughly, though she does stop squealing. "Ah love it! Thank ya so much!" Pulling back, she smiles brightly up at him, before releasing him and bouncing over to her work bench, "Yer turn, yer turn!" Whisking the cloth away, she grabs the device and hands it to him. The seal-turtle was made of a copper colored metal, polished to shine. Its face was formed a little loosely, as was its body, but it was easily discernible. The shell was gorgeous, and it sparkled with the different colored glass. The music box portion was barely visible within, revealing the purpose of the device. On the side opposite of the clasp was a button; clearly, that was to turn it on. Should Akhet hit the button, the music would begin to play. It wasn't exact, but it was very close to the melody of the very first song that Akhet had hummed, and then begun to sing, for Minali. "D'ya like it..?" She asked, hesitantly.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	Grinning proudly that his piece had been a success, he happily hugged her back, also giving her backside one soft squeeze in a loving manner, as he often did. "You're welcome, you're welcome." he chuckled, smiling sweetly. "My turn indeed!" he looked eager and curious to learn what Minali had crafted him. removing the cloth, he analyzed it for a moment. He did not have a smile on his face, but he had that awe-inspired look of a child receiving a cool new toy. he ran his hands over its smooth metal surfaces, before locating the button. Pressing it, he paused, listening to the music. It was his lullaby! a couple of notes were off, but it still sounded good. He grinned widely at him, carefully setting it back down so he could wrap his arms around her in a bear hug and lift her off the ground. "Minali, that is AWESOME!" he exclaimed, "beautiful too! just like the lovely young lady who made it!" Setting her gently back on her feet, he kissed her softly on the lips. "Thank you. That is... thank you." he said sincerely.

Minali Otoyome	When she was lifted, Minali had giggled, but his kiss dress an answering kiss from her, as well. "Ah'm glad y'like it...~" She smiled at him, "Did Ah get th'song right..?" She wouldn't be too upset, if she hadn't memorized the tune from hearing the song properly once, but she could always fix it, to play properly.

Akhet Sumatra Tallarico	"well... a couple notes were a little off," he confessed in honesty, "but it was still very easy to recognize, so overall, still a wonderful job." He had trouble criticizing anything he could not do better, but he figured that she had a way of foxing it or something if there was a problem anyways. It was getting late, but Akhet was used to it and did not mind. "Thank you again for it." he smiled. "it's lovely. Although don't worry--it won't replace my bedtime lullabies." he winked at her.

Minali Otoyome	"If y'tried t'skimp me of yer singin', th'motor would conveniently vanish...~" Minali winks at him, "Ah'd miss yer voice too much." Then, with a small laugh, she cuddles against him, "Ah'm really glad y'like it... Is th'shape okay, too?" She wasn't sure if he liked seal-turtles... but they were aquatic, and she thought that they had them, in the arctic waters. That might not be right, though.

Cuddling against her, he smiled again. "Aye, the shape is jsut fine. I love it. I'm glad you like the picture of you too..." he softly rubbed her back, even through her leather guard. "So... anything you want to do? We've got a big day ahead of us, yes?" It was late, but Akhet was fine with staying up as long as she was.

She was more than ready to take her shoes off and relax in her socks and underwear... With her warm, firm, cuddly waterbender to lounge with. Then, in a soft tone, "An' then, maybe y'could sing fer me, again..?"

"Sure do." he replied, "and maybe we can shed a few layers..." he chuckled as he hoisted her into a position where he could actually support her instead of just having his hands around her waist. Beginning to carry her upstairs, he teased. "...though you can keep the boots on." and as he walked some more, he smiled at her. "And I'd love to sing for you... especially before bedtime." It was getting late after all, but Akhet did not mind that. he had had a long, but wonderful day. Soon they were in the bedroom, Akhet habitually heading towards the washroom to disrobe.

Pausing as he slowly set her down in preparation to move into the washroom so she could shed everything but her underwear (and perhaps her socks and/or boots), he turned to face her again. "I'm cool with that." he agreed, "I can hold down the fort. And maybe if you've got the place under control I could run a few errands or vice-versa. It'd work well." he grinned at her and then paused. "Although chances are, most of the time will be together, won't it?" Not that he minded that. in fact, he hoped for it.

Minali Otoyome	With a nod, Minali answered, "Ah think so, yeah... Issat okay?" She knew that the answer would probably be yes, but she wanted to ask anyway. If, for whatever reason, he just didn't want to work together, because of... possible arguing, or too much time together, or something... then she would be willing to work something out. Not that she thought that was the case. Smiling up at Akhet, she waited for the answer, gently swaying her hips. Her hands reached out to take his own.

The odds of them suddenly not getting along were slim to none, given how well they had gotten along over the past few days. Seeing her sway her hips, he would have grabbed them, but she took his hands in hers, which made him smile softly. "Love ya." he grinned at her. "We'll have an awesome day tomorrow." Yes, cute times came first no matter the situation. Getting undressed could wait, and so holding-hands time it was.

Minali Otoyome	Taking a step forward, Minali pulls her arms back slightly before releasing his hands, so that they'd fall to her hips. Her own hands move to his shoulders and neck, feeling gently at his warm skin. "Ah love ya too," She murmurs, smiling at him. "Ah'll try t'wake ya up early enough so Ah can show ya what t'do... before th'hordes've kids come," She teased, tugging on his braid.

"Sounds good" he smiled at her proposition. "I hope it's not at the crack of dawn or anything though..." chuckling as she tugged his braids, he instantly moved his hands to bounce her curls, his golden hoop earrings getting exposed from his own movement. "So did you want to take some clothes off before we officially go to bed?" he offered with a chuckle, nodding towards the washroom to indicate that he knew the drill.

Minali Otoyome	"Ah never open th'doors until after ten," Minali winks at him, "Th'older kids don't get outta school until later, an' th'li'l kids don't usually come until just before lunch." She kept nice hours, all things considered, and could sleep in, anytime she wanted. Laughing because he knew the drill so well, she nodded, gesturing toward the washroom, as well. "G'on, then... Occasionally, Akhet slept past noon, but usually only when he was up really late. He was not up THAT late quite so often. "On it." he replied, disappearing into the washroom. he would emerge a few moments later in his underwear to see what Minali had taken off and what she had left on.

Minali Otoyome	Minali was sitting on the edge of the bed, clad only in her underthings - even her beloved socks were in the laundry hamper, along with her work clothes. Smiling up at him, she remains sitting, but holds a hand out to him, for him to take and come to her. "Y'all set?" She asked him with a small giggle, ready to cuddle up, for sleeping. While she was tired, though, she wanted to be with him up until she fell asleep for the night.
