Having Left for the Spirit World

Hakota-Zai was a miserable man, living a short life of 28 years he'd lost a number of friends and loves along the way.

His happier days once waived his misery in favor of hope and presence of companions who heartened his old wounds from aches and pains. New loves had blossomed -most to disperse into inaction- and even one had held high regards for a future of Zai's. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be so.

Some wounds never closed. Zai had an eternal trauma of an incident that killed his wife; he had attempted to assassinate Meili the Earth Queen in his days as a hired killer, and his wife -unbeknownst to poor Zai- was among the defenders of the Queen's palace. Both warriors masked, Zai felled her beneath his blade, only seeing her face as her lifeless corpse went limp. The attempted assassination ended in failure as Earth Queen Meili easily trumped the distraught Zai *being more badass than he, anyways.*

Perhaps Meili knew of the married couple, or found amusement from his suffered loss, but Meili spared him and he devoted his life to reform, though such seemed to come slowly. In the end, he had settled for vowing to never kill again-- though he did carry the blade that was once tainted with Her blood with a promise to never draw another's with it. His life continued to be rather unremarkable thereafter as he worked small jobs for food and housing, traveling across the nations as he slowly earned pardons and forgiveness for his past crimes.

But as most tragedies end, Zai succumbed to the wicked hand of misery and was abruptly never heard from again. One could only assume Zai, in his deep trauma of murdering his first love, took his own life with the same blade.

And thus the final chapter of Zai's life.

Anyways, I meant to post something along these lines ages ago, but with my luck my computer crashed mid-post, so I left the goodbye thread on hold indefinitely.

So here I am, more than a month too late to say goodbye, New Chapters. I'll still be hanging around loosely and *Who knows* post again one day, but for now I've discovered that this site had taken too much of my time and attention when I needed it elsewhere.

Basically I just won't be posting anything or be active on any characters. I will, however, be checking in *As you all already know* every now-and-again.
