Rengshi didn't know what to say, honestly, he wasn't sure if Rin would accept his feelings for her. Well, it wouldn't really matter if she accepted, it does matter, however, if she didn't have the same feelings, it'd be bad. In general... Just no... Rengshi decided he might as well keep going, cupping her hands in his, Rengshi looked her in the eyes. Time to man up: "I like you, more than a friend, and I was hoping you'd go to the ball with me as a date." Rengshi stared into her amber eyes, they were beautiful.

Rin looked back into his eyes, silent for a momment, not sure what to say. She had never been in this situation before, and she blushed a even darker red as he had taken her hands.

Rin blinked a few times, she needed to do something, she can't leave the poor boy hanging. She couldn't say she didn't like him back, but Rin was proud, and she has always found it hard to put her trust in anyone. Rin took a deep breath, "Rengshi...I..." She was planning on lying to him, telling him she didn't feel that way about him, but instead, she did the complete opsite.

Before Rin could stop herself, she planted a small, soft kiss on Rengshi's cheek, then smiled at him. "I would love to be your date..."

Rengshi touched his cheek where Rin had kissed him. Rengshi smiled, thinking to just go in and dive for it. Rengshi grabbed her lower back with his right hand, grabbing the back of her head with his left hand. Rengshi pulled Rin closer to him, leaning down a bit, kissing her on her lips. And after the kiss was over Rengshi simply said "Thanks."

Rin's smile widened when Rengshi had smiled, and before she knew it, she felt Rengshi's hand on her back, pulling her in for a kiss. Rin's eyes widened as she felt Rengshi's lips against hers, and without thinking, she was kissing back.

Rengshi pulled away and Rin blushed, shocked that the kiss just happened. He just looked at her and simply said "Thanks."
Rin was still a little dazed, she smiled weakly and whispered, her voice not letting her get any louder. "your welcome...".
