Invasion of the Fire Nation has finally come to an end. The brave and valient defenders of the Fire Nation Capital managed to successfully hold off the sudden surprise attack of the Xuri and managed even take down a few of the members. The destruction of most of the attacking Xuri airships have caused the surviving members of the Xuri to retreat.
Tarek vs TsoiTsoi was aboard one of the three Xuri Zeppelins that was attacking the City. Tsoi was using his combustion bending to bomb the city from a safe distance. These actions ended up provoking Firelord Tarek, and caused him to engage the Hostile Airships. What followed was an epic battle that took place thousands of feet in the air. In the end, Tarek managed to successfully destroy 2 of the airships and kill the Combustion Bender Tsoi.
Ryuu vs. PanPan and Ryuu engaged in a sniper battle when they crossed paths. This battle was a battle that held no room for mistakes because a small slip would have resulted in the instant deaths of either. What ensued was a high paced, Hide and seek game of two Snipers. After much effort on both sides, Ryuu had managed to suddenly get the upper hand which resulted in his win in this battle.
Sanaki vs. ZhongUpon infilitrating the Fire Nation Palace, Zhong moved swiftly through the halls, searching for the Fire Lord with the means of assassinating him. Creating a fog within the Palace to make himself visually undetectable and using sound bending to deafen all of his movements, Zhong was basically invisible and had no trouble dealing with simple guards. Perhaps it was bad luck for Zhong, but what he ended up encountering instead of the Fire lord was the Fire Lady Sanaki, who (Thanks to her Heat Sense) was one of the few people that could actually detect Zhong even as he was 'invisible'. This gave Sanaki the ability to counter Zhong's abilities which resulted in her win in their battle.
Chui Meizhen (Water Bender/ Steam Bender)
Chui managed to successfully defeat scores of Fire Nation Soldiers without much of an effort. Using her steam bending, Chui created a fog of super heated water which instantly boiled her opponents alive. Chui met no real resistance at her location in the Fire Nation Court Yard and successfully fled when she saw that the two of the Xuri Zeppelins were destroyed and the third one was fleeing.
Katsuo and Isikiro vs. LauUsing Lava Bending, Lau was destroying any structures of importance in the Fire Nation Capital. Normal Fire Nation Soldiers that tried to face Lau stood a chance and were quickly consumed by her lava. Lau was soon confronted by Katsuo and a battle ensued between the two. The battle was clearly in Lau's favor imediatly as the battle began, her defense was impenetable by Katsuo's attacks and her offensive abilities were extremely difficult to guard against with Fire Bending. Soon however, Isikiro arrived to aid Katsuo to battle against Lau. Still, despite being a skilled earth bender, Isikiro had difficulties defending against Lau's Lava Bending. Suddenly, in a life or death situation moments before being consumed by Lau's Lava, Isikiro herself had discovered she too had the ability to bend Lava. With this newfound ability, Isikiro managed to keep up with Lau. The battle ended when Lau fled because of the retreat of the single Xuri airship which marked the end of the battle.
Kei vs. PingPing used her large metal puppet to slaughter anybody who was in the Fire Nation Capital's central Plaza. Ping kept herself hidden and her puppet was hooded which caused people to think that the puppet itself was a human doing all of the killing. Scores of soldiers came upon the hooded puppet, but they stood no chance against it and was crushed by its inhuman strength and speed. Following all the commotion, Kei entered the Plaza and was soon engaged in a fight for survival against the puppet. Despite it's overpowering strength and massive sycthe, Kei managed to hold off the puppet with his own sword up to the point where Ping had decided to flee to the city as the invasion ended.
San Kang (Blood Bender/Healer)
Other then kill a couple of people he encountered, San did nothing during the Invasion. He managed to successfully flee the city when the invasion ended.
