Personality: Zakura is a daring, brave and stubborn young woman with a fiery lust for adventure and experience. She is notoriously cool and collected, and very few things can get under her skin. She is also very reckless and impulsive, often acting on whatever sounds like the best idea at the time, as opposed to actually planning things out. While she might not be as promiscuous as her Avatar aunt, she is not ashamed of her appearance or really, anything she does. She is also somewhat of a brawler, always up for a fight.

Zakura is extremely confident in her appearance, as well as in what she says, does, and how she looks and dresses. she is aware that she's nice to look at, and knows that her sister is the same way, if not moreso, since she is a bit neater than Zakura is. she consistently tries to get Ezera to acknowledge and embrace her good looks, but with limited success thus far. Ultimately, it was very clear that while Ezera took after her mother, Zakura took after her father.

Zakura is more open than her sister, and while she often (and openly) teases her on numerous occasions, she is also protective of her, under the staunch philosophy of "only I can pick on her." No matter the circumstances, Zakura is always there for her. She is also resoundingly stubborn, and adamant in protecting her and her family's honor.

Abilities: Zakura is a prodigious waterbender, especially for her age, swiftly learning moves and techniques, particularly those centered around bending. With the brother of the Avatar as her father, a slight bit of Avatar blood runs in her veins, and said AVatar has taught her many of her ways. Given Zakura's physique, she doesn't use any weapons except her fists and her feet, and her attunement to her physical side had her excel in that field, while like her sister, she lacked a bit in the spiritual side of things. Thus, while she is very skilled, she is far from being a true master. Being related to Zulera also meant that she was actively involved in teaching them a few basics, such as hand-to-hand combat or sparring.


Appearance: Zakura's Water Tribe and Fire Nation heritage has an interesting effect on her demeanor and appearance. Her nose and eyes are almost 'pointed' in a very Fire Nation way, though her eyes are a deep electric blue just like her father's. Her hair, a very dark brown that almost appears black, is much more rugged and untidy than her sisters, and she often has it in dredlocks. her skin is much darker, although the rugged Water Tribe impression is lost in her skin's texture, as it is soft and smooth to the touch as well, similar to Zulera's. while Zakura is slightly shorter than her sister, she is heavier than her sister. While she is not as toned as her father or aunt, Zakura still has a more athletic build than her sister thanks to some rigorous routines they put her through. however, she possesses similar curves to her sister around her hips and breasts, but unlike her, Zakura embraces her features and is not afraid to flaunt them.

History:
Zakura was born 2 minutes before her sister, and grew up with her family in the Southern Water Tribe, her proud firebender mother and wild waterbender father giving her a very confident and fun upbringing. While she fit right into the tribes unlike her sister, she was always there to make sure that Ezera was comfortable where she was and with what she was doing. The free-spirited nature of their father went right along with the philosophies of the Avatar, who, as their aunt, played a repetitive role in their lives influencing both them and their parents to embrace that certain freedom.

Zakura had no trouble fitting in with the other Water Tribe kids as they grew older, and she was rather popular thanks to her own confidence, sense of humor, and good looks. however, once they started distancing themselves from Ezera, she took her side with her sister, and always made a concerted effort to try and get her involved. While she often held up a veil of confidence and such that it wasn't a big deal, in reality, it annoyed her, which was why she was always persistent in getting Ezera to socialize.

As they entered their teen years, Zakura and Ezera grew into gorgeous and attractive young women who garnered attention from all sorts of crowds. While Zakura wasn't afraid to let herself be admired, she did not sell herself cheap either, knowing that even as crazy as her father had been, that he was a loving man who was deeply committed to his wife and children, and that was the type of example that Zakura deeply wanted to follow. She started picking up the spiritual end of waterbending quicker than her sister picked up the spiritual side of firebending, but this was most likely because of her teachers and locations--they were much more suited to learn waterbending than firebending down at the south pole.

At 17, she left with her sister to go travel the world; her father gave them a few last reassuring remarks that they might cross paths somewhere in the world, and that they were almost guaranteed to cross paths with Aunty Zulera at some point. she was a free-travelling wanderer who could be found anywhere. from here, Zakura went with Ezera to explore the world, but also so that she would always have her sister's back.
