Personality: (40)Ushio is quite carefree, laidback and free-spirited. A bit air headed sometimes too. He's clumsy out of combat, up till the point where you question if Ushio is a Master Airbender. Ushio loves to eat. Unlike most Air Nomads, he isn't a vegan. Nor does Ushio enjoy shaving his head (likes to play with his hair when tired/sleepy). Very loyal to friends, but more brash towards strangers/disliked people, and seeing as most people start off as strangers this leads Ushio to being very unsocial. He does not like crowds, because he enjoys being in more open spaces and feels that “in a crowd, there are more people, which gives you a bigger chance to see someone annoying”. He's caused much trouble at the Southern Air Temple for not respecting the elders due to his belief that "respect is something earned, not given". Ushio is very adventurous, loves traveling and exploring his surroundings or place of interests. Doesn't enjoy thinking, more reliant on his instincts and intuition. Not very smart. Quite outgoing, energetic and honest. Ushio prefers never to fight, unless it's for a simple spar or if it's just fun and games between him and the few friends he has. The only time he attacks outwardly is during life-threatening situations or anything close.

Abilities: (40)Has mastered all 36 tiers of airbending and has created his own airbending techniques, thus earning him the title of Master Airbender. This includes an extremely high level of "sound bending". With Sound bending, Ushio can vibrate the air molecules in the same frequency to match any noise. This is usually done through his own vocal power. With Sound bending, Ushio can imitate voices of other people(has to hear the voice first) or recreate noises of any object (can laugh like a lemur, roar like a flying bison, shout as if though he were thunder, and jitter like a fire ferret). He's also created the technique "Image shifting", this is another high level technique in where he moves fast enough that there are two or more images of Ushio. With this he can confuse his opponents with multiple Ushios, although this requires an immense amount of focus and is both physically and mentally taxing and is rarely used. He's also created a technique known as "Air Masking" where he seeming disappears, but in truth he's moving at such a high speed he cannot be seen. His final technique that he has created is "Air Armor". Air armor is where Ushio bends the air around him in high speeds so anything that comes in contact will be pushed aside. Besides those abilities that he has created, Ushio is capable of bending at a Master Airbender's level. He's very agile, even for his lanky frame. Whilst he lack upper body strength, he makes up for it with his core and lower body. His physical attacks will mostly consist of kicks and the use of his staff. Rarely ever uses jabs or grappling techniques. While he can glide around, he finds more enjoyment in running around with the Airbender's trademark high speeds.

Ushio is a rather lanky figure. He's tall, but skinny causing many people to believe him physically weak. But although Ushio is skinny, he contains minimal amounts of body fat and is more toned than initially depicted. Ushio has a vertical scar on his abdomen, which is to his left of his belly button and reaches from his waist to his ribcage. Ushio is also ordained with the standard arrow tattoos that accompany his title of Master Airbender.

Ushio is equipped with an airbenders standard Staff/glider. He will also grab small miscellaneous objects such as marbles, pebbles, nuts, etc. and propel this with an immense force generated by Ushio's bending.


History: (120)Ushio is a little bit of a strange case. He was found one morning in the Southern Water Tribe in front of one of the villagers house, a mere baby no less than a month old from seemingly out of nowhere. No one knew who's child this was and they knew not who's parents this child's was. Unwilling to abandon the child, a single mother by the name of Ummi took care of the child. Seeing as the child's parents came in and then left, they named the boy "Ushio" meaning tide. Ushio grew up rather unsocial towards the other children, because he had green eyes, a trait more representative of the Earth Kingdom instead of the Water Tribe's blue eyes. That prejudice separated him from those around him. Then on the eve of Ushio's Birthday(or in his case Foundday), Ushio was gifted with the ability to bend air. The Southern Water Tribe saw this is a keen opportunity to allow the boy to enter a new community, where he may be more accepted. But whilst at the Southern Air Temple, Ushio still drew away from the other children. The only one's he would talk to where his mother-figure teacher, Yangchen, and his flying bison, Malu. With the help of Yangchen's guidance, Ushio mastered Airbending at the mere age of 12. He spent four years travelling the world. After seeing most of the world, Ushio returned to the Southern Air Temple. Upon his arrival, he eagerly searched for his master wanting to share the adventures he had and the amazing things he had witnessed. But all he found was her grave. Yangchen had been slain by assassins. Ushio then swore an oath of vengeance for his beloved teacher. Ushio's past is now over and he is presently searching the world for justice.
