Qui Dishi

Qui was low on medical supplies... again. It seemed to her that she was loosing less and less, even though she hadn't been using to much of them. A thief, probably. Someone who was having trouble with another sick person outside the palace. But, Qui didn't mind to much. Whoever it was, they were only taking very small things. Medical items that she didn't need, or rarely ever used. It was obvious to the nurse that the person didn't know much about medicine.
So, Qui was in the Capitol, retrieving more supplies. Besides, with the heat of war coming up, the more supplies the better. And, she never knew when Fire Lord Shula might fall ill, and that wouldn't be good for the nation.
"Ah, I'll have some of those, and some of those." Qui said to the man running the stall. She pointed at some needles, and then some anesthesia, which could be used to make someone pass out to preform surgery on.
Not like she was preparing to preform surgery on someone.
No, Qui wasn't a doctor. She was a nurse. She helped the doctors, and that was it. In the back of her head, Qui laughed at herself. Haha, I'm to young to be a doctor. I'd like to see the look on my mother's and father's face if they saw that I had become a doctor. She laughed.
Qui gave her money to the man at the stall, when she turned around to the person behind her, who happened to not be paying attention. (Not like Qui was paying any attention, either) Qui dropped the anesthesia and the needles.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Qui quickly said, embarrassed at what had just happened. She quickly knelt down to pick up the needles and anesthesia. "It's all my fault. I wasn't paying attention."

Shula Njoo

Shula was having a nice stroll through the Capitol, albeit she was dressed commonly and had a hood over her head. She passed a medical stall, where a young woman was buying supplies, turned, and bumped right into Shu! She dropped her supplies, and Shula watched, slightly amused. The girl apologized, and began picking them up. "It's quite fine, Qui." she said with a smile, her expression friendly. She bent and helped the girl pick up her needles and anesthesia, handing them to her with another smile. "I didn't realize we were low on medical supplies. Do I need to have a shipment brought in?" she questioned, automatically thinking that her people might need more than they had available. She thought nothing of revealing her identity to the nurse; if Qui wanted her dead, she could have done so long ago. "And are you alright? The needles didn't pierce your skin, did they?" she asked, finally voicing concern for the girl. Ah, blame the many faults of a powerful leader, but sometimes her brain was running so fast that she didn't pay attention to smaller details until last second. Before waiting for the nurse to answer her previous questions, Shu spoke yet again. "Here, allow me to help you," and with that, she took many of the needles and anesthetics and held them in her arms, smiling at the girl. Her hood had fallen back slightly, and with a jerk of her head, it was covering her face yet again. "I'd offer to buy you tea, but perhaps that wouldn't be the best idea," she commented with a wry smile. Shu sometimes hated the fact that outside of her palace, she wasn't safe. Even within, there were still threats and she had to be alert, but in the bustling Capitol...well, if someone were to do her harm, there were so many people that it'd be hard to catch them. Under her long silk cloak were her fans, a wakizashi (missing its partner, because the katana would be too noticeable) and a few knives; Shu had to be able to protect herself somehow. She gave the girl a friendlier smile, deciding that perhaps she'd help her with the rest of her errands before heading back up the to Palace. She'd like to see how the Palace staff worked and lived.

Qui Dishi

Qui looked up to the voice that sounded very familiar. She almost gasped, but decided against it. It was quite clear to her that Fire Lord Shula wanted to remain secret; she didn't want her presence known.
Then, Qui shook her head, answering the Fire Lord's first question. "No, we don't need any new shipments. Just missing a few... minor necessities." She said to the Fire Lord, grateful that she was there to help pick up the needles.
"I think I'm good, the needles have cases over them, so that way they don't get any germs on them before they're used." She explained.
The Fire Lord then offered the nurse for tea, but then said that it would be a bad idea. Which Qui silently agreed with. There were always people out to kill the Fire Lord, always someone wanting to rise up from the dust of the previous leader. But, with the situation going on now, there were more assassins then usually. The Fire Lord needed to be protected, but she also wanted her freedom.
"Well, that probably isn't the best idea..." She said, trying to think of something else to do outside of the palace. "There's some, well, we could go right outside the capitol and into the hills. I could stop by some tea shop, and we could have a picnic. There... would be next to nothing people." Qui said, trying to lead on the fact that there would be no assassins.

Shula Njoo

Shula smiled. This girl was smart; she was right to have placed Qui in the position of head nurse. "Sounds absolutely wonderful." she said with a big grin, looking around the public area. There were many people walking to and fro; some looked at her, the hood hiding her identity; it was a good thing that her height was not so noticeable that someone would know who she is based on it. At a very average height of five foot eight inches, she felt very similar to her people. "Come back with me to the Palace. I will help you pack a basket, and then we can go out and see. I'm afraid you'll have to lead me to where you want to hold this picnic, as I'm not familiar with the Fire Nation's countryside. I know of elsewhere, but not of my homeland..." she trailed off wryly, before turning back to the girl with a small smile on her face, on hand hidden in her cloak on her wakizashi, next to her fans to amplify her bending.

Qui Dishi

Qui nodded, looking around at the people. Any one of them could be plotting to kill the Fire Lord, and it could happen any second. Qui thought that it wasn't a good idea for her to be out and about like this without some sort of protection. At least bring a member or two of the Dai Lee, or someone skilled in fighting. Qui knew that Fire Lord Shula did carry around a weapon, but sometimes that wasn't enough, even with her bending.
"Alright, shall I escort you, miss...?" Qui said to the Fire Lord, slightly unsure. She wasn't quite sure how she would react to it, but she also didn't want others to find out her identity, so she was simply trying to act like it wasn't her, and simply someone who was lost. It was all for her safety, and Qui could explain her reasons later.
"This way..." She said, leading Shula through the crowd and still feeling slightly embarrassed. Of course the Fire Lord knew her way around the capitol, and it was unsettling that Qui had to make it look like she needed to be escorted. The Fire Lord probably wasn't feeling to well about this, either.
"I'm quite sorry about all of this..." Qui whispered very quietly, and only loud enough for Shula to hear, and she said it as soon as they were in an open area, in the risk that someone might here. Qui didn't like it, but she was just trying to take precautions.
