Beach Party!

We all need a break, that's just our nature as humans, and as the SUMMER VACATION period is rapidly approaching for those in school and those who commute/work jobs, I think that we need a BEACH RP PARTY!







Yes, you do want to RP having fun, you do want to RP at the beach, you do wish to use your bending to play sports rather than kill each other.

Lets get to it! EMBER ISLAND BABY!!

+1! We definitely need to have more fun on this site, especially after all the negativity I myself have been spewing out. People are much too serious on this site, I do it too. This will definitely be a fun way for everyone to loosen up!

+1, I can kill some people as the Tailor with Alxina. Gysu and Mulanza can have some character build up, and I think it'll be fun.

Alright, so there is not a single vote against the Beach RP party. Lets move onto stage 2 of the Beach Party RP:

The question this time is, how can we tie this into your characters respective story lines:

1. Firelord Novai sends out an invitation to the world, inviting them for a relaxing stay on Ember Island, all expenses shall be paid for by the Royal Palace...yada yada yada.

2. People hear of a mysterious power on Ember Island, a force so ancient has awakened to challenge the world, but this is perfect since our heroes need a relaxing break on Ember Island to investigate!

3. EMBER ISLAND is hosting its ANNUAL FLAMING VACATION FESTIVAL! ALL MUST COME from around the world! Hotel prices are cheap! The beaches are great! All at a special expense..

SO:

Choose, in your responses select either 1., 2., or 3. and give a reason why you support the story line.

OR if you hate all 3 selections: MAKE YOUR OWN!

2. Since The Tailor isn't likely to receive an invitation, and neither is Gysu.

3.) Because it's practically plotless, which gives everybody room to marinate with everyone else and.......just act stupid. With everybody in town for the festival, who knows what'll happen? Countless mini-stories and all type of hell could break loose! It's the most free out of all 3 choices, like a blank slate! =D [And less serious. =_= Roku knows we need less serious shenanigans around here. XD ]

3 for the above reason that its plotless and people can do whatever they want and have fun. Whereas anything implying a chance to get ahold of some awakened power will mean that not everyone will take the opportunistic will 'relax' and thus make the whole reason to go to the beach and chill out rather pointless. 1 just seems very unrealistic XD (Yes, I know I say this when we're RPing a world with Flying Bison, etc.etc.)

Just want to remind you guys, if you don't like any of the choices or don't agree fully with the option you chose, you are FREE to make your own plot/story!

3. the lack of plotliness keeps it simple and avoids conflict.

I'm putting a hold on the beach RP party, until the tension diffuses, as well as finals apptoaching for those in school. Indefinite closure until things are sorted out.

Actually, Zulera, I know a few people who will still be in school until like the third week of June. It happens. Rarely, but it happens.

@ Nokomi: No problem, just looking after the interests of the few who want to RP but can't because of school e.e.

As a community this would be more fun together, than if we were missing a lot of members and proceeded hastily.

Anyways, lets keep discussion on RP ideas flowing (new ones), since the RP itself hasn't started, it doesn't hurt to discuss or be excited.
