360 or PS3?

Which console do you like more, the XBOX360, or the PS3?


I've been a Xbox player for all my life, and it haw way better games than the PS3.

PS3 is the better system, even though Xbox Live has a way better gaming community than PSN. But Playstation 3 has so much to offer. You pretty much get more bang for your buck. Internet Browser, Wi-Fi, Free Online service, Blu-Ray player. I'm not a Sony fanboy either, because I own a 360 Elite too. I just prefer my PS3 over it. PS3 owns 360 in a battle for the better system, but 360 owns PS3 with XBL vs PSN.

Well, I sorta agree with Zian.
They are both good systems.

360 has a way better gaming community, and PS3 has a better things to offer.

Although, PSN is said to have alot of downtime, not sure if that's true or not, considering I only have XBL.

Yeah. PSN did get hacked and it was down for a month. Its back up now. But the gaming servers are better on XBL. Like a few hours ago I couldn't even play a game of 2k11 with my friends because it was so laggy and it kept disconnecting.

Yea I heard about that hack thing. Something about the first guy to jailbreak an iPhone jailbroke the PSN. lawl.

Xbox 360 they have so much to offer which hits out at a very big audience, they offer so much for younger players, older players and players of different sexes. They have alot to offer from avatars to their apps like Last.FM, Sky Player, Zune. Everytime I have gone away from the Xbox 360 to move to another console I have always come back, I also feel that they have a better range of exclusive games compared to the PS3 that I am interested in, alot of the PS3 exclusives are not really for me to be honest. I love Halo and with that being an Xbox exclusive it makes sense to enjoy the Xbox more

I prefer the '360 than the PS3. So much more to do.

360 due to better live and more of a community.

I don't own either at the moment. If I were to choose one, I would go with a PS3.

Technically, the PS3 offers more to do than the 360. The 360 just has great service, customer support, great community.

Although then you have the CoD fanboys and such. On both systems, of course. The "goto gamechat for search and destroy" is idiotic in all CoD games.

You all pretty much hit the nail on the head. PS3 is a good system, offers a lot, but the 360's pros outweigh was PS3 offers imo. Wider variety of games I like for the 360 also.

Honestly the only big difference to me, is the blu-ray, but I still don't think PS3 has used blu-ra to the furthest of its abilities. Blu-ray has mad memory...

Well, typically, and this is proven by many universities, that people will typically stick with the first system they played.

They tested it this way;

They gave 50 people Xbox 360s
They gave 50 other people PS3s.

The 100 people immediately loved their consoles, and were fascinated by its many other featured.

They stuck with their consoles for 3 months, and when they switched to the other console, they weren't used to the spectacular features of the different consoles and so they didn't like it.

They also tested it for one month, and came out with similar results.

So if you started with a PS3, you'll more than likely like it better.

I've started with an Xbox 360 so I'm used to it. I like it better.

I like the Xbox360 more.

Well, I played the Wii too, not sure if before or after 360.
It was suckish, and the Kinect is so much better.
