Subject: Trapped! [Kei, Closed] Wed Aug 27, 2014 4:48 am

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis pushed herself up so she was on her hands and knees. She looked around and found that she was in a grassy expanse. There were trees off in the distance, and the sky was blue. she waved her hand, and a gust of wind flew some of the grass. She could bend... but what was this madness? was this the spirit world? A few moments later, A man she recognized appeared next to her. Kei... He slowly seemed to be coming around too. She shook her head, got up, and while he was still trying top regain consciousness and come to her senses, she looked around. The fountain was right behind them! She ran to touch it, but instead of touching water, she was touching was what essentially a hologram--an ethereal fountain or something. Well... that meant trouble. Of course the portal back would require some trick or training. So... she's wait for Kei and see how he handled it.

Kei	"What the..." Kei muttered to himself when he came to his senses. It seemed he was alive, thankfully, but it also seemed that he was more lost then before. They seemed to be no longer on the island that they were on before as land expanded in all directions with no sight of water. Well, at least Lyndis was here with him and that he would not be alone out here (Wherever out here was). It seemed the pool of water from within the cave teleported them to this strange place. He watched Lyndis try to touch the fountain they had just come through, but her hands just phased right through it, completely opposite to what happened when they touched the pool of water from before. Kei shook his head, he was clearly either having a strange dream or inhaled the fumes of some kind of mushroom while he was inside the cave. There was no way this was real. "Pinch me." Kei told Lyndis.

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis pinched Kei, luckiyl just on the arm or something. "I don't think we're dreamin' man... it's not like this was a date or anything though. They were trapped, and Lyndis was pretty sure it was the spirit world. "Maybe there's a way to reactivate that portal... probably some super grandiosely complicated puzzle, or some life-changing adventure where we find our inner peace or some shit like that.... well... I guess as long as we don't come back and find ourselves 30 years ahead of where we left off... we should be okay." Time was weird in the spirit world. Sometimes, it could be hours, but more often than not, no time would pass between leaving and returning. It was weird like that. "any suggestions on which way to go?" she chuckled

Kei	"Ouch" Kei said after Lynn's pinch. He was definately not dreaming. "Yeah," Kei said agreeing with Lynn, "The pinch you just gave me is too real to be fake." Lynn's ideas of how to reopen the portal they just came through hinted that she thought they were stuck in the Spirit World. Being stuck in the Spirit World made sense too Kei, he knew spirit portals existed everywhere back in the mortal world, it's not impossible that they happened to stumbled through one. "I'm by far not an expert in the Spirit World or anything," Kei began then pointed to some mountians on the far off horizon, "but personally I think we should head toward those mountains, if we get to the top of them, maybe we can better see where exactly are we."

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis chuckled. "unless a punch would do better than a punch?" she teased, balling a fist. "Nah, I don't have a good reason to hit ya... I'd feel bad." it was just a stupid/corny joke anyways. He seemed to have a different idea of how to get out than she did though, and his idea seemed better and simpler. They could just find a new portal hopefully, if they got a better view, right? "Makes me wish I had my glider," she chuckled, "I could just fly us to the top." She could usually carry about one other person, despite her own small size. "I guess we start walking then, huh?" the fact that they could still bend would potentially be a boon though, and Lyndis knew it. Hopefully it wouldn't requite anything though. She just wanted to get out, as cool of a story as this might have made.

Kei	Simply Lyndis feeling bad about doing it was more than a good enough reason for Kei to not receive a punch from her. "I'd rather receive something nicer than a punch," Kei said, "Like a great joke that will make me laugh myself out of this dream." To Lyndis's comment about wishing she had her glider with her, Kei replied jokingly, "Think of this as a simple, pleasant walk, through wherever we are." The walk to the mountains on the far horizon should take them less than a day Kei predicted, but it would still be a tiring walk. "Come on," Kei said, "Let's go." And with that, they began the beginning of there journey. A little ways in, Kei decided to bring up a topic he hoped Lyndis wouldn't too mad about. "Soo," Kei began, nervously, "I hate to bring this up, but I didn't bring any of the food we left in the cabin back at the crashed airship with me... I suppose you wouldn't happen to have any idea of what to do?"

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	The Airbender chuckled. "well... you want me to show you my underwear?" she offered with a laugh of her own, "people in their underwear are almost always funny!" It was true... there was usually something pretty funny about someone trapped in their skivvies (or less). Or maybe that was just Lyndis when she'd sneak up behind someone and whip their skirt off or yank their pants down. She wasn't sure. "well... time doesn't always have a meaning here in the spirit world..." she quipped, "so hopefully you're right... cuz I don't have a whole lot of food..." she did answer his question in that department as well. She had a few supplies that she had picked up before they had trekked through the island to find that cave, but other than that, their provisions were pretty scanty. "other than that... let's start exploring. maybe we'll find something to eat as we go?"

Kei	"I'll... pass on the underwear," Kei said with a bit uncertainty, surely she was joking about the offer, but then again, girls were weird sometimes, "I was hoping for something like a great pun." Kei had absolutely no idea how the Spirit World worked, he simply knew it was a world connected to theirs by the mysterious ways of Chi. Where the Spirit World was actually located and how time worked were completely unknown to him. "Well, as long as we get back to our world before we get left behind by the search part, I think we should be alright." Kei said a bit nervously, he didnt actually have the slightest clue of how long they would be here. He hoped it wouldn't be years. Lyndis and Kei began their walk, making their way across the grassland towards the mountains on the horizon. Of course, the topic of food was still on his mind. "Do you think spirits are edible?" Kei asked Lyndis. The spirits he had encountered in his past seemed to be physical beings as they were affected by physical attacks and such.

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	"aww..." the airbender fake-sighed... "maybe you could at least try to guess what color it is?" it wasn't like she was about to strip naked or anything. "ah well... at least we can bend the rules here..." she played with a little fist-sized air sphere, as if to give Kei that great pun he had asked for. Lyndis chuckled again at his remark. She seemed to be taking this all rather well, despite her intrigue and curiosity surrounding it. "well... if it's a choice between us being here several years of real time or several seconds... yeah. I hope it's just several seconds." Besides... he had a point about the search party. if it left without them... well hopefully they could find a spirit portal that took them somewhere else. His questions were interesting, and of course she had no real answers to them. Sure Lyndis might be a little spiritual or religious, but not a whole lot. Her skills at airbending were pretty good though, so she had to have at least a little spirituality. "maybe they are? Maybe we'll run into a fruit tree spirit or a cake spirit or something? Spirit cake?" she laughed. it was an interesting idea. Or fruit... the inner Air Nomad in Lyndis did quite love fruit...

Kei	"Asking me what color underwear you're wearing is probably a trick question." Kei continued with more uncertainty and tad of humor, "You'd seem like the kind of person who doesn't actually wear underwear." "And by the way," Kei added jokingly with a smile, "That was a terrible pun." Kei also decided he didn't want to think about how much time would pass while they remain in the Spirit World. If he did, he would probably die from stress thinking about how much money he would owe after not paying his apartment rent for several years. "I hope there aren't living spirit fruits," Kei said with a terrifying image in mind, "I can't but think that they would be screaming in agony when I pluck them from some tree." Kei rubbed his chin, "I wouldn't mind a spirit cake though, I feel it would have a really nice and fluffy texture."

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis blushed a little but laughed. "no, I promise I'm wearing underwear... and a bra too." she reassured him, in the rare event that she randomly took her pants and tunic off, he'd see them, but she seemed fine with staying clothed. "so come on... guess. it'd be fun..." In truth, Lyndis did wear underwear, though she purposely only ever purchased very sexy lingerie. But... it had a color, and just because he guessed the color didn't mean she had to show him. She just felt it'd be a little thing to do to pass the time. she laughed a second later. "I did my best." she quipped, regarding the pun. "well... I'm sure they'll scream for help if we eat them if they're actually alive... well, sentient." she shrugged, "otherwise, I think we should be okay..." she honestly didn't think about it too hard though, since she kind of just took life for what it was and then ran with it. "so keep your eyes peeled."

Kei	Well, Kei decided not to worry too much about the underwear color guessing thing. Surely it was all in good fun and would not lead down a more... intimate path. Inspecting Lyndis for a bit, Kei said, "I bet your wearing pink underwear with unicorns on it. I have a feeling that despite your rugged exterior, you're actually soft and sweet on the inside." "I hope we are both totally wrong about the living spirit fruits," Kei added, "Last thing I need today is a mob of angry spirit banana's chasing me because I ate their brother."

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis' eyes widened when he said pink, but she actually laughed. "I dunno about the unicorns... but you're right about the pink..." she pulled the side of ehr pants down just a little, only enough to show the side of a pair of ruffled pink panties. "and you're right about my personality too... I'm like one of those candies you can find at festivals and stuff.... hard and jagged on the outside, but soft and sweet on the inside!" she flipped her hair rather cutely. Maybe the whole crazy-murderer thing was the rare side of her, and the sweetheart thing was more common. Lyndis laughed. "man I'd pay to see that!" she shook her head, "well... maybe not. cuz if you ate one brother... I probably ate the parents or something... so let's hope that the spirit fruits on that there tree right there aren't living." she pointed at a pear tree on a slope. the fruits seemed to shimmer, almost as if they were golden, but they looked edible. if asked, Lyndis would try one first.

Kei	Kei looked down not realizing Lyndis was showing off her underwear. Kei looked down to see the side of her pink panties and blushed heavily. "Oh uhh, that's real nice." Kei awkwardly commented. In reply to Lyndis's analogy of herself to candies at festivals, Kei replied jokingly, "I'd like to think of myself as cotton candy, I'm always sweet, I have feel nice, and I melt when I get wet. Kei saw Lyndis point to a golden pear on a nearby tree. He definitely was not going to try that first, their conversation about angry fruits could have actually been accurate for all he knew. Gesturing toward the pear, Kei asked, "Ladies first?" Kei also stepped back a bit, getting some distance between him and Lyndis just in case the fruit did not take kindly to being eaten.

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	"Aren't they?" Lyndis cooed delightedly, swaying her hips before letting her pants go back to normal and her tunic fell back over the exposed skin. "they're some of my favorite. but I digress... we can worry about my undergarments later." "or when you get licked right?" she quipped, leaning forward as if she was going to lick Kei, but did nothing so audacious--not yet anyways. There was important business to deal with first. Kei was indeed hesitant to try the spirit pear, so Lyndis went first. "May the odds be ever in my favor..." she quipped, before picking and eating the fruit. Well, the good news was that there was no screaming for help from the fruit, which was a good thing. Also, it was tasty. "This is delicious!" she moaned delightedly through a bite, "Try it!" she motioned to the nearby pears, for Kei to take one and eat it.

Kei	"Right, later..." Kei said commenting on her underpants glad that this conversation hadn't gotten too weird. "Lets save it for then." He lied. He had to admit that when Lyndis had mentioned licking him and leaned in closer, he was expecting that she would actually do it. Perhaps she still would. If that were the case, Kei decided he would get the topic off of licking him. "Licking cotton candy?" Kei asked desperately, "No normal person does that, it would be too messy if they did. People just go in and eat it normally?" Upon eating the fruit, Lyndis appeared to be enjoying it. She even told Kei to try one. Still, if there was one thing he knew about nature, things too good to be true usually had negative side effects. Kei was going to make sure this pear was safe. "I don't know yet," Kei asked curiously, "Do you feel any weird side effects or something like that?"

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	"silly boy... most straight men would jump at the opportunity... unless..." she paused and laughed it off. "nevermind. let's keep moving. Last thing we'd want would be to die from distractions, yeah?" She was toying with him, but really it was for her own mood more than anything. "I sometimes do, but I'm notoriously weird... it's kind of cool to watch it melt on your tongue, y'know? since it doesn't exactly need to be chewed... but that's okay. I'm not about to try and find ways to make you melt... you're almost as silly as I am..." she shook her head, those lovely brown locks of hers fluttering. Lyndis paused as she ate the fruit. "well... I think my nipples just erected, but that might have been from something else..." she shrugged, "otherwise... I actually feel rather refreshed... like, as if I had eaten a nice meal and taken a nice nap. I might have to stock up on this stuff if we ever find a way out... give it a try!" she offered him a fruit, but if he declined, she'd eat it, since she just polished her first one without incident.

Kei	"Unless what?" Kei asked worriedly. Lyndis no doubt just thought of things about him that he would not like. Kei wanted to know what she meant. "Me silly?" Kei asked incredulously, then thought paused to think about it for a bit, "I mean, I guess I make funny jokes every now and then, but I don't think its enough to me on the same level of silly as you." Kei decided it was better not to ask Lyndis where she thought she was getting her erect nipples from. Instead, Kei just took the fruit Lyndis had offered seeing she was alright at the moment, and took a bite. The only way to describe the flavor is this: If a beautiful sunset tasted like something, this golden pear would be it. Kei exclaimed amazed, "You're right! These things are amazing!" Kei began stuffing his mouth with them and chugging down as many as he can. "Yea, we should really take as many of these as we can, I can't imagine how much people would buy them for."

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	"you worry about the most trivial things and not the ones that matter!" the lady airbender giggled, "don't worry about it. it's not important..." it wasn't. Lyndis might have been a tease, but it wasn't like she forced herself upon anyone or anything so drastic. In truth, Lyndis' erected nipples might have just been a side effect from the fruit. It wasn't from anything else that she could think of unless it just randomly happened. Maybe the fruit only did it with females though? "I toldja..." she cooed as she sunk her teeth into another of the amazing spirit fruits. "I'm not about to steer you wrong while we're trapped in the spirit world. Maybe when we get back, but unlikely." she teased playfully, but otherwise continued eating.

His nipples didn't get erect, but instead, his lower man parts did. Though it wasn't really visually obvious he was erect to those who looked in his direction thanks to his pants, it was still getting uncomfortable down there. Kei shifted his pants around to make it more comfortable, but he was blushing heavily now as well, since Lyndis was standing just in front of him. "I thought you said this fruit didn't have any side effects." Kei said embarrassed.

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Perhaps luckily for him, Lyndis did not notice that he was erect as well, albeit in a different location. The fruit did not seem to be an aphrodisiac or anything though, for Lyndis wasn't about to throw herself at Kei or what have you. Maybe it just messed with certain body parts? Lyndis did reach down the front of her shirt to rub one of her nipples down though, before realizing it was futile. "It doesn't have any side effects..." she shrugged, "unless the side effects are hardening a woman's nipples? but I reckon if that's the case that men would want to stock up on it, yeah?" she laughed. "it's so good though!" she exclaimed, for it was. If getting her nipples hard was the price to pay for such a delicious fruit... she could pay that price and would do so happily.

Kei	Kei just didn't know what to think when Lyndis had tried to rub her erect nipples away. "Umm... I don't think rubbing them would simply get them to go down." Kei said awkwardly. "Also," Kei added, "I'm a guy too, but I'm beginning to really to dislike this fruit." At that point, Kei decided to put the fruit down. There was no telling if the side effects got stronger with each bite. Soon after Kei had put the fruit down though, there was a deep booming voice. "WHO EATS THE FRUIT OFF OF THE TREE OF LIFE?" Echoed a loud voice. A large Octopus-like being materialized out of the ground. It was about 30 feet tall making it larger than any normal octopus. It was a glowing transparent blue color making it quite obvious that this was indeed a spirit. It wrapped one of its tentacles around the tree with gold pears and pointed its other ones at Kei and Lyndis, if it were about to attack. Turning to Lyndis, Kei said a bit fearfully, "I think you should deal with this, I'm a terrible talker." This reason for not talking was a lie however, this was actually his first encounter with a spirit and he had no idea what to expect.

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis shrugged. "well, I didn't say you had to eat it, and I certainly didn't force it down your throat or anything. If you didn't want any, you didn't have to try it. Ah well... what's life without some risk and adventure?" When the giant octopus spirit emerged from the ground, Lyndis actually shrieked in surprise, her voice going rather high. "Me?" she gawked a bit at Kei's suggestion, "you saw me--I'm the one who kills first and asks questions later. Maybe it's not such a good idea..." She was still eating the fruit though, so perhaps she should just buck up and explain herself. On the other hand, they had gone through a portal to the spirit world, and so Lyndis' airbending was still intact. She'd have to remember that if they got in a fight. "Uh... I do, I guess?" Lyndis shrugged, munching on the fruit, "It's really good, and I was really hungry. Am I gonna die now or something?" She wasn't trying to be rude; she was just being herself.

Kei	"I had nothing to do with eating the fruit, it was all her." Kei said quickly after Lyndis finished speaking in order to place all of the blame on her. There weren't any hard feelings behind his actions, but Kei has seen a lot of weird things before to have developed a rational fear of Octopi. "Go with what I'm saying." Kei whispered to Lyndis to hopefully give her false hope in the blame he placed on her. "LIES!" The large octopus spirit roared pointing a tentacle at Kei, "I SAW YOU EAT A FRUIT!" In a more calmer voice, the octopus spirit scratched his head saying in reply to Lyndis, "Nah, actually death is a pretty severe punishment for eating off the Tree of Life. All it actually does it give spirits the ability to reproduce and make more spirits (Kei noted at this point this was probably the reason for the erections). "INSTEAD OF DEATH," The octopus spirit suddenly roared once again, "YOU TWO SHALL BECOME MY PERSONAL SERVANTS!"

Lyndis Jay Montoya II	Lyndis actually did not react when Kei tried to shift all of the blame onto her, but instead listened and watched as the spectacle unfolded in front of her. She wondered if spirits could detect lies or not. Welp... she found out about a second later. she couldn't help but laugh a bit as it roared at Kei for lying. She didn't say anything, but did crack a chuckle and nudge him playfully. On the other hand, the urge to make a witty quip was not something lost on her, and so she did. "ohh good. cuz I'd really hate to die right now. I'd like to actually find a way home..." but instead, the "offer" was a bit more intense. "uhh... okay?" she shrugged, "what exactly does that entail, pray tell?"
