As I walk along the bustling streets of Ba sing se I see all the vendors and shops that are usually there. They greet me fondly even though they don't even know why I am here. Each day I look for a job to do but no one seems to have one that they would give to a stranger. As I walk picking up a few posters to see if anything is useful about them. I scan over one quickly skipping most words. 'Nothing of use...' I think to my self as I walk. Next I walk into a dodgey tea store about to ask if they can supply me a job seeing as I have already worked in one before when I hear a couple footsteps behind me. I look into the shop owners brown eyes to see a reflection of what seemed to be a bear of a man with a club. The man begins swinging his club straight down towards my head and I quickly unsheathe my sword and clash with the club with all my might I sustain my balance and keep the club from crushing my head. I breath in and kick forwards a small burst of fire coming from my foot and into the man's stomach I begin to run the club liberated from his grasp. Eventually I am surrounded by bandits all of which look from the Fire nation I turn my head for a split second and feel a pain in the side of my head then I see black.

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu and his ever present badgermole Yurio were walking through the streets of Ba Sing Se, in the lower ring of all places. Tsu enjoyed seeing how the other side of the world lived, with the poverty and such. He always felt sorry for the people, so he sighed as he walked through the streets. The pair were walking past a small tea shop when they heard a lot of ruckus. They turned and turned their heads in synch, as they watched the the commotion through the door way. The group had just beaten up a man who Tsu could not see, he frowned. Yurio recognized Hirako almost instantly via his scent, thanks to him being a badgermole. Yurio poked Tsu in the arm, which made him look again at the man. Tsu slammed his heel into the ground, to activate his earth sensory ability. He gasped as he learned who the man was. Tsu reacted quickly after that, as was expected. He first bended the ground under four of the men so that they were pinned against the ceiling. Yurio waited. The other four men were initially shocked, but quickly regained their composure. Tsu had to think quickly and then engage a strategy as the four men surged towards him, one very tall and bear-like. He settled on a plan very quickly, as was the beauty of his tactician mind. He blended his metal gauntlets in such a way that they became a chestplate that covered his entire upper torso, this was the why Tsu didn't wear a shirt, it was his meteor metal chestplate technique. After this Yurio halted two of the men on their tracks, encasing them in the ground, leaving just their heads free. Tsu then charged the other two. One swung a fist are his chestplate, and was rewarded with a broken hand. Tsu bended the ground into two jagged pillars that trapped the man like a vice. Only the bear remained. He was tripped up by Yurio, who then encased him in a stone coffin, much to the man's displeasure and string of curses. Tsu walked over to Hirako and waited for him to wake up.

I opened my eyes a pain shot through my head my vision was blurred but when it cleared a familiar face stood before Me. I smile and get up brushing the dust off my clothes I pick up my sword and look at it I brush some dust of it and look to see a man standing on a roof. I turn and quickly shoot a blast of fire at the man and after the fire clears he is gone. "Thanks Tsuyoshi." I smile and extend My hand out for a shake.

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu watched the whole affair as Hirako woke up. He didn't do much, but was ready in case it all went wrong. He then relaxed slightly. After a series of fluid motions, the metal across Tsu's retreated back to his usual gauntlets. He smiled and tool Hirako's hand and pulled him up. Even though he was Hirako's junior, it didn't show much. After all, Tsu was only sixteen. He smiled as Hirako spoke before speaking himself. "Hello Hirako, it has been a while... But first, why was a criminal group attacking you?" He was generally curious about the whole thing. It seemed a bit odd for Hirako to be attacked by a group such as these. He looked at Yurio, who was herding all the criminals together, in a cage he had made, it made Tsu smile.

Smiles at the struggling bandits and gestures Tsu to follow me "I'd rather speak in private." I begin to walk away and looking back ever once in a while to see if he is following.

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu smiled and followed his friend, wherever he was going. After Yurio finished tying up the men he promptly burrowed underneath the ground again, ceiling the hole he made as he tunneled under the streets. Tsu always found this amusing, the people of Ba Sing Se had no idea that under their streets was a badgermole. He was curious as to where Hirako was taking him, but he knew it should be alright, and if not Yurio was always waiting close by, so nothing back could come of following the man.

I weave through the streets of Ba Sing Se looking back to see if Tsuyoshi was still following Me and he turned and opened a door unlocking it iwIth a key I climb up the stairs into a small hallway with four rooms I unlock the first room with a key and push the door lightly open. In the room there is a table with two chairs a fireplace a small bookshelf and a bed lies in the corner. I sit down "Sit this story is sort of long." I light the fire place with a short blast of fire.

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu followed Hirako as he weaved his way through the ever full streets of Ba Sing Se's lower ring. They both eventually arrived at locked door. Tsu waited patiently for Hirako too produce a key for the door and unlock said door. He then followed him up a set of stairs to more doors, doors seemed to be the theme of the week. Tsu sighed and folded his arms as he waited for Hirako to jangle his keys again. As he was admitted to the room, Tsu assessed the room very briefly, as any good tactician does. He was directed to a table which he promptly sat at, and turned to Hirako, waiting expectantly,

Smiles as Tsuyoshi sits at the table. "Ok so now here comes the story. When I was four my parents died in a bandit attack then I was put into the care of my uncle who taught me a small bit of fire bending and how to wield a sword. From then on I was just working at the farm where we were living. But when I turned 16 I went on the road to find a fire bending teacher. When I stumbled upon the fire nation capital I met Kako and we got in a pinch... You see right after we were done talking there was an army of fire nation guards coming after us. While we were running I jumped on of the guards lion tigers and knocked him off and jumped to another and knocked them off but then I trampled 20 that were behind me and I guess the reason they are chasing me is cause I guess I am wanted..."

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu listened to the story as it slowly unfurled before him, like the sail of a ship. It did not surprise the young man that Kako had something to do with all of the trouble, but it was slightly surprising that Hirako had been able to actually kill anyone during their little conflict. From what Tsu could gather from watching him during his short encounter, Hirako didn't look very strong, but he might just be underestimating him, and that could be his downfall, a good strategist never underestimated his opponents, you never knew what tricks they may have hidden under their sleeves. However, if Hirako was indeed wanted by the Fire Nation, there wasn't really much Tsu could do. His family only had influence in the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation was a whole different matter, it depeneded on the bounty he guessed, he could just pay it off... He said as much to Hirako "Look, if the bounty is low enough, I might be willing to ask my family to pay it off, however if it is more than just a little bit, I don't think I will be able to help, my family doesn't usually pay of bounties..." It was true, his family were good people, and did not get into trouble much. It was for that reason that Tsu doubted whether or not he could pay for the bounty in that way. If it was small enough, he could always just ask for the money from his parents... Such a conflict. The other option were that Hirako get a job and earn the money, or he could run... Hmm, there were many different options open to him. Tsu waited for the man to return a reply.

Mieko Ruzhang	Mieko the wanderer no more trudged down the cobblestone road. A wanderer no more. Because she knew what needed to be done at this point in her life. Well, she thinks she does anyways. If theories and plans built upon said theories were that than yes. It was all rather confusing, but it lead back to that black spirit in the swamp. It had been some time since the ambush by the Black Fang, and Kazma and the Zulera's second battle. A battle of words and principles mind you. She had inadvertently brushed aside the Avatar when seeking her help. Thinking that she only wanted material goods and being too weak of foresight to figure otherwise. A misstep taken to another path, but would this one take her to where she needed to go? The Firebender girl booted a stone down the road. The skipping clunks carried on for a short distance. The fiftieth sigh escaped past her black lipstick painted lips today alone. Mieko took a load off outside some random house. Her pack kept to the side of her to fend from any grabby hands. She completely ignored any 'unusual' sights around her to focus more on her loathing for this words poorly dealt hand. Mieko drew a water skin from her bag. It felt like it was gona be a mighty long day.

Zurok Mia Takamatzu	Ba Sing Se was a city of opportunity. If you could make it here, you could make it anywhere. Zurok knew enough politics that she was able to be among those who could make it here, and could also live the good life. Rumored to be partially behind Meili's ascension to the throne, Zurok had connections in this town. Mostly though, she just called upon them to help herself stay informed. The presence of the Avatar in town also struck her interest. What were the odds that Zulera would show up in the same place as Zurok whilst she was lingering in the city? Zurok contemplated those odds for a moment before laughing and dismissing it. Zulera was random enough that for all Zurok, knew, she'd put her hand on Zurok's shoulder to try and frighten her. But it seemed she was alone for a bit among a sea of greens and browns, one of the only blue-clad figures around. There were others, but few wore a sharp blue suit the way she did. It was during this walk that she ran into someone of interest, and one that more importantly, matched a description Zulera had given her. What Zurok had wanted this information for was a mystery, but shamelessly and confidently, she approached the younger girl with a very Zulera-like smile. "You..." she said gently. "You are Meiko Ruzhang, are you not?" Zurok had plans for anything the girl did. if she ran, Zurok even had a plan for that. First it was time to see how her presence was reacted to, if it was even reacted to at all.

Mieko Ruzhang	Mieko froze still. She was raising her water skin when someone of the female variety hidden behind her hair called out her name. Her full name. Butterfly's filled her stomach. The only people who knew her last name was city immigration. They must of tracked her down due to the tram attack. There were plenty of witnesses who would be able to recall a young woman in Fire Nation clothing being there. It's not hard to spot the red dot in a sea of green. "And if I am"? Mieko pulled the water skin to her lips. She bent her head backwards hard enough to get her partially out of the way to see who was there. It was a dark skinned woman, Water Tribe. Thankfully not Dai Li. Perhaps that made it worse though. She knew her full name. People with access to records or connections to figure out who she was would be dangerous. Mieko needed to figure out if she needed to fight or flight.

Hirako thought about this for a moment. he didn't want Tsuyoshi to pay off his bounty. He didn't know what it was but if people paid money for others to capture him it must be large. Hirako shook his head. "No it's to big if someone paid bandits to come after me then it must be..." Hirako stood up. "I should get a move on who knows when they will strike next." Waves and silently walks out the door. As he walks out into the street I pull up my hood and lookup at the rooftops and behind me when he bumps into someone rather hard and falls to the ground his hood falling off and he scrambles up quickly. "Sorry! Wait.. Mieko?" Smiles slightly seeing the familiar face of Mieko Ruzhang.

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu smiled as his friend spoke, always the honorable one as per usual. As he stood Tsu followed him outside, almost bursting out laughing as he feel over, but he contained it quite well. He followed Hirako outside, only too notice Mieko and some woman dressed in the clothing of a Water Tribeswoman. He smiled at Mieko and spoke. "Hello friend, it has been a while, why, since we separated at the Swamp... Who is your friend?" It was most curious that Mieko would be talking to this person, whoever she was. But Mieko looked as if she had seen a ghost, which was most curious as well, it was only a woman... Unless Mieko had some previous ties to this woman perhaps, or someone she was just scared off? Either way, Tsu found it most curious. As the youngest member he was slightly out of place, but he didn't mind, he simply smiled and folded his arms.

Youta Zhu	Youta left the woman's house as quietly as he could trying to make sure she wouldn't wake up. Ba Sing Se was full of beautiful women but a beautiful woman who was also a powerful earthbender would probably not be too happy to find Youta sneaking out of her house. It was nothing personal but it was the way that Youta lived. As a traveller he did not care so much about relationships and so now he was off on another adventure to see the rest of Ba Sing Se. It was such a large place and although Youta had been there quite a while he hadn't seen much of Ba Sing Se, preferring to stay around the places that earned him money. He wasn't wearing his Fire Nation robes or his Earth Kingdom robes currently, having decided to sport his black top and trousers that usually went underneath his robes. His red hair was a lot messier than usual as well due to having rushed his way outside. He did however still have his trust Dao blades in their sheaths and was on his way to find something new. It was later than he thought it was when he finally managed to get a glimpse of the time inside a shop so he decided to hurry along to find some jobs. He was walking along the street when he came across a rather curious group of people. He heard some names being tossed around but thought nothing of it. It was the fact that there were so many colours in their clothes and the mention of the word 'bandit' that peaked his interest. Youta however did not want to make it obvious that he was listening in on their conversation though so he looked through a shop, feigning interest.

Zurok Mia Takamatzu	Zurok was a woman with connections. She was in very close cahoots with the leaders of the Earth Kingdom, and had eyes everywhere in the Water Tribes, many of which were her relatives. Furthermore, she had a spy on strings here in Ba Sing Se itself. "If you are... then I know of the unimportant events that occurred on the tramline just outside the city, but more importantly, it means you crossed paths with the Avatar while there. I am simply searching for her and needed a lead. There is something I must request from her." There was no emotion on Zurok's face except the small, calm and confident smile that she bore, and her electric blue eyes were vibrant against the brown skin of her face. "Either way,, allow me to introduce myself. I am Zurok Mia Takamatzu, and I am here in hopes that you have any leads on the Avatar." it seemed an odd request, but it seemed that Zurok was not interested in Mieko's personal life any more than she needed to be, as to not be nosy.

Mieko Ruzhang	Mieko withdrew the water skin from hew mouth. This woman was quite mysterious. Revealing only the smallest of details as she needed to. The information she could provide would be token, but maybe it would help her. "I haven't seen her for nearly a week. So I've no idea where she could be. Though...". Mieko was cut of from further conversation as someone bursting through the door behind her. Mieko was flattened to the curb without any injury but some temporary sorriness. This person recognized her. When Mieko was able to restore her sense of place she got a view of her clumsy miscreant. "Hirako!? And Tsu. I thought that spirit got you in the swamp"? She was amazed to see the two. What were the chances and in all places that they would run right into her, literally. She was ecstatic to see them.

Zurok Mia Takamatzu	Hearing Meiko's simple response made Zurok's face curl upward into a smile With those electric blue eyes that Zurok had, combined with the way her lips curled upwards, it was clear that this was not just someone inquiring about the Avatar. in fact, anyone who saw Zulera and Zurok side by side and grinning would know that the two were related--for they were. "Thank you then." she nodded at her, acting as if the rest had not even happened. "That will do for me then. I wish you the best of luck on your travels, Mieko Ruzhang." With that, the Avatar's mother began to walk away, her mind already deep in thought.

I watch as the water tribe woman leaves and then turn to Mieko."Well I got separated from the group when the spirit attacked... Luckily I got out and made my way to Ba Sing Se. That's when I met Tsu and you. So what have you been doing after the swamp?" I ask Mieko looking up at the rooftops and behind me quickly before turning to her again.

Mieko Ruzhang	The strange woman left without her giving so much but a fleeting tribute of information. Mieko felt she at least deserved to know of Kazma. "Zurok"! Mieko shouted loud enough that she could here. "Watch out for the swordsman with white hair and green armor. He's a great danger"! The woman was nearly lost to the crowds but she should of heard her. "Ohh you know, already fighting assassins and meeting the Avatar and the like. Now be gentlemen like and help me up already". Mieko held out her hand for Hirako to grasp. He did knock her down after all.

Hirako grasps her hand and pulls her up with ease. "Wow more exciting than my story..." Hirako laughs a little bit. "Well I only got here a week ago so I'm still getting used to it." Hirako begins to dust the dirt off of his clothes.

Tsuyoshi Hayashi	Tsu kicked the ground, sending a signal down to Yurio, who promptly surfaced next to Tsu, closing the hole he made to get up. he sniffed at Mieko briefly, before standing next to Tsu. Tsu smiled at this, Yurio could always recognize someone, no matter how long it had been. Tsu listened to the other two spin their tales of drama and woe, his own story seemed very cheerful in comparison too theirs. He smiled before speaking to them, voicing his thoughts. "Well, Yurio and I went to Omashu first and stocked up on supplies, then we sort of just made our way to Ba Sing Se, it was quite the adventure, but we both turned out okay" Yurio seemed to agree, but he was a badgermole so he didn't have facial expressions. Tsu simply smiled at everyone gathered again, before speaking yet again, such a talkative young fellow. "Listen, if you two want some place to talk, we can always visit my families mansion in the upper ring, if you like" Recently he had been hosting many people there, but not actually staying there himself, it was too empty to stay there on his own... Hmm, ah well. He turned to the two and folded his arms.

Zurok Mia Takamatzu	This actually made Zurok stop dead in her tracks, slowly turning the full 180 degrees back around. "now there is something worth sharing." she noted, as she rapidly strode back towards the place she had just left, which included being in front of Mieko. "While I do not fear that my daughter would be unable to handle herself in such a situation, it never hurt for me to know as much as I could about a situation." her smirk remained, although the casual way that she referenced her relationship with the avatar had come off as if it was common knowledge. It was actually not common knowledge that Zurok was Zulera's mother though, so this would be new revelation. "What do you know of them? How do they operate?" she feigned ignorance on the subject in hopes to learn anything new. Besides--if they were on the warpath after Zulera, then perhaps they intended to target her at one point or another in hopes of reaching Zulera.

Mieko Ruzhang	Hirako hauled her to her feet. Righted and proper again, maybe a bit lacking of apologies. But what can you do with a stone headed Firebender. "Well I'm glad we're all alive and well. Once we find someplace comfortable I want to know what happened to the others and that spirit. Maybe Tsu' place if you're not busy Hirako". Mieko leaned down and grabbed her water skin. Most of its contents were missing, but its just water. She was way more interested to finally hear more about the swamp. Zurok came thundering back after Mieko's warning. She'd in fact snuck up on her a bit and a tremble traveled up her body. "Look Miss. I can tell you what I know. But, right now I think we were going to this kids place". Mieko pointed to their resident spoiled rotten; Badgermole enthusiast. "If its ok with him though you can come along".
