Personality: Yazlin is an interesting enough woman. She's a passionate, beautiful, precious and heartbreakingly sweet kind of person. She's reasonable, calm, collected and does fairly well in high-stress times. While 27, she has a strange childlike innocence about her that is both curious and adorable. She's fairly mature despite this innocence, and is in no way naive. Her demeanor is completely genuine in every way, and no matter who it is, she will go out of her way to help them. Even those who have harmed her are instantly forgiven when they are in need and she is always willing to take care of others.

But, like all people, Yazlin has a fatal flaw--she has multiple personality disorder. Now, she only has one, but this one is an extremely terrifying kind of person named Marahute.

Marahute is what you would call 'numb'. Indifferent, vindictive, uncaring and a little sadistic. She's also extremely masochistic. She mars her arms and legs daily (Yazlin often wonders where she gets the cuts and scars from) and when she appears usually sticks around for a week or so. Marahute's appearance is rare unless Yazlin is hurt emotionally or mentally. Marahute is Yazlin's emotional and mental defense against pain because Yazlin is such a caring person. It's how she prevents herself from going completely insane, if she hasn't already.

Abilities:
Yazlin's waterbending is not really anything special; she's an expert because she's mastered forms and understands the element itself, nothing more. She doesn't have a particular fierce love for her element or anything fantastic like that; she's only at the status she is now because her father wanted a 'perfect child' and that's all she ever wanted to become.

Yazlin's real love is for the art of throwing knives.

Yaz never misses; never. If she has, it's because she intended to. There's something about her that just cuts everything else around her out, sees the target, and suddenly the knive is there, vibrating slightly upon impact. She's swift, silent, and deadly. She doesn't use her abilities for more than hunting or self-protection though.

While Marahute shares the same abilities as Yazlin, she'd rather pummel you to death with her bare hands than throw some knives at you. Bloody brawls are her specialty and Mara doesn't need a knive or "magic water" to win--her one goal is to prove this to every man out there.

Yaz is an average sized woman with a curvier shape than some, though not overweight in any form. She's fairly muscular, although not rock-solid. She is decorated with tribal tattoos on her right shoulder that extend down her back and up to the nape of her neck. She likes to wear tank tops and a pair of fingerless gloves, with the typical leopard-seal leather pants of the South with her parka tied around her waist. Her eyes are the color of the sky before a snowstorm and are very striking to look at. When Marahute takes over, she enjoys a good cigarette and drink to always be close by.
