Personality: Roti is all about exploring and has a strange super hero complex. He's always curious about what's around the corner and whether there's bad guys for him to try and stop. He gives off many leader-like qualities, even if the only person he's usually leading around is his sister, Kima. When he's not running into dark alleys, Roti is usually amiable, friendly, and maybe a bit annoying.

His curiosity drives him to drag his sister everywhere around Ba Sing Se. Despite living in the Upper Ring, he enjoys the Lower Ring most because of how much more danger there is there. He often bugs passing people for information about local gangs and crime and won't rest until justice is brought to the three rings. He's somehow avoided being killed.

Abilities: Roti is a beginning earthbender. Like Kima, he's going to school for this ability, but he can still only throw rocks about as fast as he could throw them. He tends to use his bending as a distraction rather than the master plan. He's usually pretty good about thinking of elaborate schemes which might be why he has yet to get him and his sister into any real danger. These schemes usually involve running away really fast. When all else fails, he'll just blast a ton of dirt into people's eyes. It usually gets the job done.

Roti usually has a smile on his face. Until he realizes how much trouble he's in. His black hair is always in a huge spiked form, and his eyes are black and shiny with mischief. He has a rather small nose, and his grin is almost always present and kind of annoying. His ears stick out a little more than he'd like. He's usually forced to wear his mom's semi-fancy clothes, since she is, after all, a seamstress. When he is going on adventures he tends to put on a long red headband with the ribbony ends usually reaching the back of his knees. He likes to run fast enough to make them float. Because of his mother, the usual attire is collared shirts and slacks. Sometimes he's get away with wearing a t-shirt if it's a really hot day.


History:
Being his mother's first child, Roti had been smothered for his entire early childhood. From around one to four his mother would hardly let him out of her sight and would constantly provide him with everything he wanted. Once Roti started going to school, this was no longer possible, and Roti realized he enjoyed the danger and intrigue of the city more than the comfort of his home.

Roti was never an easy kid to keep captive. Despite his mother's coddling early on, Roti would always try to get out and see the world. Since he was of the Upper Ring, he'd gone to school for pretty much his whole life, and quickly learned how to read. This helped him decipher the wanted posters that were sometimes posted around the city. With a strange idea of justice, he'd try to capture these villains at as early as five years old. He'd always be dragged back to his mother and father's house when someone that knew him saw him pestering lower ring citizens. Once his sister, Kima, was around four, Roti would drag her along and try to instill his adventuring ways into her.

Roti didn't see his father much. Being on some sort of city police as a detective, he was hardly ever home, and Roti only spent time with him around once a month. Roti is highly interested in his father, but the never ending job has prevented any sort of bonding. Kima does not seem to share this interest, so he keeps it to himself. This might be the origin of his super hero complex, because he knew his father was supposed to stop the bad guys.
