Personality: Ever since Ping was a little kid he was quite the character. As nice and funny as he was he was still not to be messed with. When Ping get's the chance he always like's to crack a joke to lighten up thing's. When first meeting him you might think his is quite the classy guy with his long white beard that hang's on his chin, but really his is one of the funniest people you might ever meet in Omashu. Other then his funny side he also has a mean side. The only time you will ever see Ping get aggressive or really protective is when someone very close to him is threatened or violated in any way. Normally he is calm and is open to any people who talk to him. Since Ping is pretty old he tries not to laugh as much as he does mostly because of his slight back pain.

Abilities: Ping was trained by monk's in the White Lotus Temple in Omashu. He was taught common styles such as dirty kung fu, drunken kung Fu, and of course white lotus kung fu. He likes to mix all these styles together when he is in combat to really make his opponent look silly other then beating there brain's to a milky pulp. Some people who have sparred Ping have either been embarrassed or brutally injured by there own mistakes. While still training in the style's an Earth bender by the name Fei Mei who was also a monk trained Ping in the art of Earth Bending since Ping was seen to have the talent. Learning Earthbending seemed more like a challenge for him since he normally did not like to be aggressive when fighting. He developed his own style of Earth Bending year's later to better suite his antic's of combat.

Appearance: When first looking at Ping you will first notice his long white beard and top not. As he grew older he really begun to take more care of his hair since he thought that to be his best feature. His body is pretty medium sized but with his clothes on he look's more muscular. His body is light as a swan swaying across the river due to his year's of training.

History:

Ping's Parents:

His mother Fia who was a stay at home cook and his father Jumbo who was currently a monk at the White Lotus Temple. Ping was born in secret. The monk's did not allow anyone to get into marriage or have any children. His father would always sneak out to go visit his mother who he would always see from the temple washing her hair by a small river creek. The two fell in love after his father visited her down by the lake one day and told her some funny jokes. Jumbo would sneak down every single day not wasting any time to see her. They grew tired of hiding in secret and they both decided one day to tell the head monk's what was going on as they grew suspicious. The monk's banished his father throwing him out without any remorse. Fia and Jumbo went and lived on there own in Omashu to be together forever.

Year's later Fia got pregnant, she was nine month's in when she heard the news. Jumbo had been killed on his way home, no one ever told her how he died. The same time she was told she went into labor and bore a baby boy whom she game the name Ping. Fia died minutes later.

Ping's Child hood/Teen Years:

Ping was taken in by the monk's after they heard the news, for some reason they felt sympathy as they thought it was they're fault. As the kid grew older they decided to have him trained by the Monk's and live the monk lifestyle. He was trained by various monk's in the art of Kung Fu. He was a feisty yet very goofy kid always wanting to crack a joke or two or three. Most of the time he trained he just wanted to make his opponent look silly other then fight them which the monk training him thought was very funny. His progress was growing better and better each day. He trained hard every day to become the best. The monk's discovered that he had the talent to bend the earth at his will, a few day's later they brought in an Earth Bending teacher to train him. Earth Bending taught him to use his aggressive side which he hated to do. Sometimes he wondered whom his mother and father were but seemed to just block it out most of the time.

Adult Years:

Ping grew up to be a noble and kind hearted man. He decided to leave the monks after finding out what they did to his father many years ago. He went to the city of Omashu were he currently lives. He built his own house using his earth-bending skill's in the shape of a small temple. People in the city called him a hermit because he was barely ever seen outside his house. Spending years doing research on his family he finally managed to get all the details. Ping was outraged at all the things the monks did. The monks raised him half his life but something like this he would not stand for. He found out that the monks killed his father to keep the martial arts secret's within. In rage Ping headed off to the White Lotus Temple.

The Death of White Lotus:



With nothing but a white black kung fu top and pair of white pants he went up and stood in front of the temple. Taking a few steps he stormed into the temple. All the monk's were gathered around enjoying tea. Without hardly any word's Ping challenged them all. Hour's past and Ping was overcoming all the monk's with his mixed styles of kung fu. In rage he killed them all leaving them to die in there own blood. Not looking back he left the temple leaving it to rot and went back to Omashu.
