Personality: Juro appears to be a very cold, sarcastic person. Even though many people have tried to get close to him, he responds by pushing them away. This behaviour was coursed by his parent's death, whom he was very close to. As a ten year old he thought the logical thing to do was to not trust anyone, and don't care about anyone, so it wouldn't hurt to lose someone ever again. So Juro purposely insults and ignores everyone around him, so he will not get comfortable in there company. Though his serious, mask he wears for his own protection, Juro is rather like his father, fun loving and goofy. Juro does however, to his own dissapiontment has a bad habbit to develop soft spots for certain people that manage to crack his hard shell.Abilities: (40)

History: (120) Juro had a wonderful childhood growing up with his earthkingdom mother and firenation soilder father. Mazugo; Juro's father met Juro's mother in Omashu, when Mazugo was reasigned there. On his first day in the city in the city, Mazugo stopped of at the cafe that Hana, Juro's mother worked at. It was love at first sight for Mazugo, but Hana couldn't stand the sight of the 'idiot' soilder. Mazugo sent every spare momment he had trying to win Hana over, but no such luck. After about a year of talking with Mazugo and getting to know him, Hana finally agreed. And the rest was history.
A few years after the two were married, Hana gave birth to Mazugo's son, Juro. Mazugo and Hana adored their son and where determind to give him evry oppertunity to excel as a person. As Juro grew up, he grew very close to both his parents, and had what seemed like the perfect family in his eyes. Juro feed of his father's goofy playful nature and was a joyous and charming child to be around. At the age of five Juro showed the fisr signs of him inheriting his mother's gift to earthbend.
After that, Hana spent teaching Juro to earthbend everyday after he returned home from school, and Juro loved every minute of it. Hana had sparked an interest inside her son, and earthbending quickly became one of Juro's passions. Juro spent every free momment practising alone and with his friends, until by the age of 7 he had basically mastered the ancient art. Juro would happily ramble on to his parents how he would become the greatest earthbender since the famous Toph, which made Mazugo and Hana swell with pride.
It was all down hill from there. When Juro was 8 Hana developed a fatal illness which rendered her blind. Mazugo had to balance work, looking after his love and raise a child all at once, making him stressed and worried, also coursing him to slump into a deep depression. Hana's illness bgan to eat away at her soul, slowly losing the ablity to walk, to talk to earthbend, untill she finally couldn't even raise a pair of chop sticks to her mouth to feed herself.
Mazugo and Juro were both heart broken, Juro even stopped earthbending altogether. The stress and pain of his home life began to reflect on his personality, growing more serious and meloncoly each day. Then one night a few days before Juro's 10th birthday, Hana passed away him her sleep, leaving both Mazugo and Juro utterly crushed. Soon afterward, Mazugo also died mysteriously. Make people people believed he died of a broken heart.
Ever since then, Juro vowed to never care, or love, anyone, in fear he will have to undure heartbreak all over again. He has jumped from living with his grandmother in the firenation to living with his godfather in the NWT over the years, now 19, he hopes to travel the world and live a life of helping others; but never ever growing fond of anyone.
