Elegys	A cold wind buffeted the nomad’s face as he passed through the portal. The intense cold of the physical world caused the man to shiver slightly, but he put it out of his mind. A man stood outside the portal wearing a black military uniform, and he saluted to Elegys as soon as he appeared. ”Is everything proceeding to plan?” he asked, and noticed that his voice had turned slightly deeper since his experience in the spirit world. The other man lowered his saluting arm and nodded. Elegys began to walk and motioned for the soldier to follow him and explain the situation. “The Fire Lord and Earth Queen are with Kan and Nelekar right now. Our forces are subduing the Tribe as we speak; I have no news on Gan or Daichi, but reports are good. We haven’t received any location on the Avatar as of yet, but if our current trajectory continues then we should have full control over the Tribe and be ready to move out by tomorrow afternoon.” Elegys nodded, continuing with his steps unfaltering and smooth. An air of confidence surrounded him now, and for good reason; with the possible exception of the Avatar, he was now the most powerful bender in the entire world. He could wield it to usher in a new golden age for the world. Or crush it beneath my boot. The man froze. The voice had come from within, from the portion of his body where Vaatu resided – the part he had to subdue if he wanted to complete his quest. “Sir?” the man asked, and Elegys let out a soft sigh. This would be harder than expected. ”I’m fine. The merging takes its toll, that’s all. Let’s keep going, we’re almost there.” He set off at a faster pace than before, eager to get as far away from the portal as he could. With each step he could feel the destructive force within him retreating, growing weaker. He would have to stay out of the Spirit World until he mastered his new powers. If he didn’t then Vaatu might take over – and then the world would never be safe. The pair emerged from the forest after only a short amount of time, and the nomad couldn’t help but smile. All around him he could see his loyal troops taking control, easily subduing the citizens and the skeleton crew of Water Tribe soldiers. Elegys had tried to convince Nelekar to bring the Water Tribe Navy onto their side, but he had refused – such deliberate involvement would apparently mean bad news for the order of the world. The nomad still had concerns about this part of the plan – while his overall goal was peace in the world, was it right to force the Southern Tribe into submission, even if just to install a base of operations from where he could truly operate? He put his concerns aside for the moment. He glanced at the Fire Nation airship that had carried the Fire Lord here and smiled to himself. It was time for a show. He slowed his breathing and concentrated, engaging more of his chi into his arms with each breath. He let them rise slowly, feeling power throbbing through his veins, threatening to leak out all around him. Moving slowly but deliberately, he raised both of his hands and pointed his palms at the airship. The feeling within him where Vaatu was housed flared up, and his eyes shone a deep orange for a second before turning back to their original colour. ”It’s time.” He released the gargantuan amount of energy that had built up inside him through his palms in the form of one massive intense blast of air. As it whipped through the sky it erupted like a shock of thunder, the peal ringing over the entire tribe. It moved with magnificent speed and collided with the airship with a dull thud. Before his very eyes, the airship exploded. Debris scattered across the landing strip that it was moored at, and the nomad heard several yells and shouts coming from nearby. His face, however, remained stoic – that was the easy part. ”They’re coming.” The soldier looked at Elegys with fear in his eyes. “Who’s coming, sir?” The Dark Avatar turned to the man, his eyes flashing with ambition. ”All of them. And they will all fall.”

Tzekel-Kan	Tzekel-Kan stared into the intelligent eyes of his beast. It was separate from him now, and that was new. He hadn't been able to do that before, and he had tried. What was also new, was a fresh, human soul inside of him. That might be the link. That poor man might be what is inside the beast now, condemned to an eternity of serving Tzekel-Kan. Which was good for him. It meant human souls could embody statues and not require a permanent link between the statue and Tzekel-Kan. Maybe they could possess more things than statues. Nevertheless, this is the only one he had. And it was enough to take Vaatu back from Elegys. Nelekar, Tarek and Meili should be tangled up with Gan and Daichi before long, and the Avatar was for sure on her way. Elegys' plan was falling apart. Tzekel-Kan now had two options. One, wait the impending fight out and clean up the mess afterwards, or fight Elegys now, possibly have to fight the avatar at the same time, and then deal with Tarek and Meili afterwards. From a survivors standpoint, the first option was better. But Elegys wouldn't know how to fully use his new powers yet, and now was a good time to just end him. But the avatar could do that.... Decisions decisions...

Gan Goto	Gan felt the shift in the air when Elegys fused with Vatuu. Gan smiled. He felt it, the coming change, the coming destruction. He was ready for it, excited for it, longing for it. Gan wasn't sure where Daichi and Tzekel-Kan had gone, but it mattered not. The only person that interested him at the moment was Elegys. Gan didn't want to kill him at this moment, but instead, watch as the monk kill himself. Could his body really handle the powers of the Dark Spirit Vatuu? Or would his soul fall into the deepest pits of hell, completely swallowed up by the Dark Spirit. From here, Gan wasn't so certain what Elegys wanted to do, but whatever it may be, Gan wanted to watch the monk's story. He was interested to see what would happen. And he wasn't about to let somebody other than himself end it. Gan approached the main spirit portal and stood in front of it, blocking the main entrance to the Spirit World. No one was about to get through. "Now come you heathens," Gan said aloud to no one in particular, "My blades grow cold."

Elegys	”What’s the problem – I can’t be that scary…” the Dark Avatar muttered, folding his arms as he looked down at the rabble that was the Southern Water Tribe. The World Leaders had held their position at the airship for quite a while now, and even the hulking behemoth of Tzekel-Kan wasn’t displaying much movement. A small woman who Elegys faintly recognised as the old ruler of the South Pole appeared from the Spirit Portal and headed towards the World Leaders, but nobody was coming towards Elegys. Maybe it’s time for me to take my leave… he thought to himself, looking into the bay and sizing up his options. Of course, travelling by boat would be fast and relatively easy, but that meant that anybody who wanted to follow him would have an easy time of it too. The Spirit Portal was of course another option, but he had no idea who might be waiting for him on the other side – he wasn’t looking to force a confrontation with the Avatar until he had grown stronger. That left one option. He would travel by air. He breathed out slowly, gathering his wits and his strength. His arms whipped around each other in a spiral pattern as he concentrated and air began to form in a sphere around him. A few seconds later it rose off the ground, and Elegys’ eyes flashed the burnt orange that symbolised his connection with Vaatu. Without a moment’s hesitation, the air sphere containing the Nomad rushed over the Southern Water Tribe, passing well out of distance of most attacks that might be sent his way. He passed the bay within seconds, and before he knew it he was over the open ocean. Now there was only the small matter of where to go that concerned him. The nearby places popped in and out of his head, each maintaining position for only a second before Elegys discredited the idea. He needed somewhere where he could practice his bending, where he could blend in with his surroundings without being discovered. A smile crawled onto his face. ”It’s a long, long way to Omashu…”

Tzekel-Kan	"That bastard!" Was all what Tzekel-Kan could express into words when he yelled at the fleeing Elegys, fly off in his sphere of air. He had run away. Left him and Daichi and Gan to die. Gan could die for all Tzekel-Kan cared, and Tzekel-Kan wasn't planning on dying anytime soon. But Daichi. He was a spirited young youth, and in the short time he had seen him on the boat, he liked him a little. Tzekel-Kan wasn't all heartless. He turned to his Servant, the Behemoth that was now his. "Well, it wasn't a total loss. I gained new info and a servant. And, this strange power. This feeling inside of me. It's like I've gained ground in some realm that I have no knowledge of." His Ice Tiger merely stared at him. After a minute of thinking, he came to a decision. "I can't leave yet into the Spirit World. I need to take care of Nelekar. He's a threat to me and knows how I fight better than the few that do. I can't risk letting him live." He turned to his beast. "I'm going to slay the Ice Titan."

Tarek Raiden	The bitter cold winds of the Southern Water howled throughout the night sky. Amidst the strange southern lights that suddenly appeared, there was another odd phenomenon to be seen…A ball of light and a trail of fire that shot across the sky. From a distance it may have looked like a shooting star but it was none other then Firelord Tarek, wreathed in flame. As Tarek sped towards the pole, he noticed something else flying in the distance. It was a far ways off, but he was sure he could make out the figure of a man. Whoever he was, he was out of reach, and the great beast that had attacked earlier on was now in sight. Tarek knew the plan, distract the beast with Meili while Nelekar dealt with its master. Tarek arrived just in time to hear a man speak with the Ice beast. “You will have to go through me first,” interrupted Tarek, as he landed behind the man. He was still wreathed in scorching flame as he spoke, protecting himself from being exposed to the frigid conditions. “Your scheme ends here creature,” said Tarek with a booming voice, “I don’t know how it is that you wield such power, but when we fought before I was powerless…not anymore!” He shouted, suddenly throwing his arms into the air. Two massive pillars of flame emerged from Tarek’s hands, shooting upwards and intertwining as they climbed higher and higher. Suddenly what looked like two wings burst forth from the flames which had taken the shape of a mighty Dragon. The Fire Dragon looped in the air before it suddenly rocketed towards the ice beast, roaring as it blazed through the nightime sky.

Meili Mitali Zalika	Meili was no pushover, and while she did not know lavabending, she concentrated with all of her might on the ground below the water's edge. Normally she was not one to go near the water, but this was different. using all of her might and focus, she raised a massive chunk of earth from the ocean floor, and jumped on it, tearing through the ice and water with utmost ease as she followed the lights. The blazing red streak in the sky was Firelord Tarek, and she knew that she had to follow him. she bound herself to the rock that she was riding, covering her entire body including most of her face. her acute senses with the earth would help her most of the way. "Long live the queen, bitches." she smirked as she arrived on the scene right alongside Tarek. their task was simple--distract the beast. as Tarek gave his badass boast, Meili didn't even need words--not yet anyways. See gathered her earth all around her, forming a colossus almost like a golem, except with her body where the head would normally be. It was not the most elegant of designs, but appearance was not important this early on--especially if it sacrificed precious attack time. Using the creation's limbs as an extension of her own, she charged towards the ice monster, hoping to shatter the ice with her rock. each heavy step it took shook the ground, and it was clear that this queen meant business.

Nelekar	Before his very eyes, the true power of the Fire Lord and Earth Queen was revealed to him. Tarek had erupted towards Tzekel-Kan’s statue in a blast of flames, while Meili had created a huge statue made of earth which she formed around herself. The pair struck towards the hulking ice behemoth without reproach, and Nelekar steeled himself for his own confrontation. Manipulating the snow around him, he created a typhoon beneath him once more, using it to propel himself forwards towards the fighting world leaders and the ancient spirit. He arrived several moments after his two allies, and touched down smoothly on the untouched snow in front of the ancient spirit. He took a slow step towards him, a deep scowl forming on his face. ”It’s over, Kan. It’s time for you to leave this place – back to the Spirit World.” He jumped forwards and pulled the club from his waist in one swift motion, taking care not to overuse his broken leg. The Ice Titan brought his weapon down with considerable strength towards his once-ally, but he also had a second attack. Using his other hand, he manipulated the snow underneath his opponent’s feet to grip at his legs, attempting to keep him in place for the oncoming attack.

Tzekel-Kan	"My scheme?" Tzekel-Kan responded to Tarek. "I was in league with Elegys, the now Dark Avatar. And so was Nelekar! Now that Elegys has turned tail, I wish to kill him myself! He also left a young boy here with nowhere to go!" He was talking about Daichi, who was huddled up in a cave somewhere most likely, not knowing what to do. He watched in Awe as the Fire Dragon was created, then rushed towards his beast. The Beast watched the beam of fire race towards it, and chose the last possible moment to launch itself forward toward Tarek and safely out of the fire's way. It would have slammed into Tarek, possibly killing him with the impact alone, but was knocked aside by rock. The rock shaved some ice off, but didn't even crack it. Nelekar had made sure to make with without imperfections and air bubbles, and thus was very dense ice. It charged again, but at Meili this time, seeing her as a bigger threat. Tzekel-Kan watched with a smile as his beast took on the two titans, then took a step back at the sudden appearance of the third Titan. His little speech did little to impress the age-old Spirit Devourer. He watched as the Ice Titan rose his club and swung it downwards, waiting for the moment to counter. His feet grew cold as ice enveloped around them, but Tzekel-Kan didn't plan on moving. As the club came down close, Tzekel-Kan's left arm shot up and grabbed the chieftain's wrist. He had some force behind his stroke, but Tzekel-Kan was stronger. Practically crushing the wrist of a locked arm, the easiest way to strike was the elbow. With his right free hand, Tzekel-Kan threw a punch for it. If hit, the joint would shatter and his grip would be gone.

Tarek Raiden	Tarek wasn’t sure what to make of the mysterious man’s explanation of things, it might have been a ruse after all, and he wasn’t going to wait around to find out. Although Tarek was curious to hear what the man would have to say. If they caught him alive, maybe he would have that chance. The beast turned out to be more agile then Tarek thought, dodging his attack before quickly countering with a lunge. Tarek managed to leap out of the beast’s way before Meili made her grand entrance, smashing into beast with a large construct of her own. The beast’s icy hide was strong, withstanding the attack quiet well. Tarek quickly used Meili’s distraction to reposition himself; he moved to flank the beast and its master as Meili engaged it at close range, doing what she did best…smash things. Soon Nelekar arrived as well and with an impressive display of power launched himself toward the mysterious man club in hand. The Water Chief and his foe engaged in a grapple and Tarek saw his chance to strike while Meili smashed away at the ice beast. The Fire Lord flung his arm forward, extending his index and middle fingers as he launched a massive bolt of blue lightning directly towards the mysterious man’s back. The attack was quick, faster than the blink of an eye, and for short moment, the entire area flashed a bright blue. Tarek didn’t put enough power in the blast to kill, since Nelekar was in danger of being hit, but it would most certainly have been enough to stun an angry Komodo Rhino.

Meili Mitali Zalika	Meili didn't think that her attack would shatter the icy beast. She knew how hard ice could get from her many journeys in the Water Tribes. But, that was never enough to deter Meili. And so... when one smash didn't work, she would resort to plan B--smash things harder. She gathered more earth from her platform to surround her body, but instead of just making herself larger, she nthen compressed the earth, returning the golem to its "original" size, before slamming her fists against the icy monster again. She'd leave the talking and spiritual mumbo-jumbo to Tarek. Not that she wasn't spiritual (she kind of had to be in order to be the earthbending legend that she was), just that the deep spiritual stuff she would leave to the masters like Zurok and Tarek. She was more focused on... well, smashing things. She was the best there was, at that art. And so, with the now much-more-compressed rock at her disposal, Meili began swinging punches and evading attacks with surprising agility. When the lightning flashed, she could almost feel the heat bursting from it. It made her wonder about something, but she'd ask Tarek about it later. If they could get an edge now, she wouldn't even need to worry about it.

Nelekar	The Water Chieftain let out a growl as the ancient grabbed his wrist. He struggled against his grip for a second, before noticing his other hand coming in to strike. Using his gripped wrist for anchorage, he kicked his feet against Tzekel-Kan’s shoulder, sending the attempted attack out of the path of his elbow. Using his free hand, Nelekar caused a huge spout of water to rise between the two warriors, before expanding it and pushing himself back, freeing the Chief from his opponent’s grasp. His opponent was still rooted in place due to the ice around his feet however, and as such didn’t move at all. He stumbled backwards for a few steps before regaining his footing, just in time to see a huge bolt of lightning fly towards Tzekel-Kan’s back. He grinned as he saw it, and felt power coursing through his veins. Glancing up, he saw that night had finally fallen, and a moon hung in the sky – not a full moon, but close enough to give Nelekar a considerable power boost. ”Game over, spirit.” Dropping his weapon, Nelekar brought both of his hands upwards, resulting in the snow around Tzekel-Kan to fly upwards as water, completely covering the man. With another movement, the water turned to ice, trapping him within the makeshift prison. Nelekar then turned his attention to the other leaders who were still combating the behemoth. With a wave of his hand, he began to manipulate the snow beneath the creature. He compacted it and turned it into thick ice, which would hopefully result in it slipping and leaving it open to be destroyed by Meili and Tarek. He took careful care not to turn the places where the others were standing into ice – he didn’t want his plan to backfire, after all.

Tzekel-Kan	Tzekel-Kan screamed in agony as he was struck by the lightning. He could tell it wasn't the full power that Tarek could put in, but it still hurt like hell. He stood there panting from the pain, his muscles still twitching from the lightning coursing through him. He looked up just to see a wave of water crash into him. His feet broke from their prisons, but got frozen on the water. He was losing. And the end was very near. The beast saw the wave crash into it's master. Like flipping a switch, it turned from Meili and Tarek, shrugging off their blows as it booked it to Tzekel-Kan. Jumping just as Nelekar turned towards it, it missed the frozen patches of ground that would have made it slip. It went right by Tarek, not even looking to see if one of it's massive paws had side-swiped him or not. With one massive paw, it destroyed the icy prison, sending huge chunks flying into the tundra. It scooped up its master with one paw, and began to run on the other three, adapting fairly quickly. It shook and almost fell over from the inevitable oncoming attacks, but covered ground with long leaps and bounds. Every now and then, it would unexpectedly veer to the right, then jump to the left, or vise versa. It was headed straight for the Spirit Portal.

Tarek Raiden	Tarek grinned as his attack struck Tzekel-Kai in the back. Nelekar had also managed to wrestle back control and freeze the enemy solid with an impressive display of power. It was great teamwork, and Tarek gave Nelekar an approving nod as Tzekel remained trapped behind the ice. Suddenly the beast which Meili was keeping distracted broke off from the Earth Queen and made a beeline towards his incapacitated master. Tarek had to roll out of the way to avoid being crushed, but he wouldn’t let the beast escape that easily. “Nelekar!” cried Tarek, “try to slow the beast down! I have a plan!” Tarek then immediately turned to Meili, “I need you to hold up a large rock-ball, Meili! Remember Omashu? We’re going to pull an Uncle Sidney!” he said with a knowing grin as he prepared himself for what would come next. Although lavabending was a rare and unique skill, it had long been known that a powerful firebender and earthbender could create a similar effect together. The trick of lavabending after all was more about creating lava instantly out of normal rock, not as much as controlling the super-heated rock. Tarek suddenly launched two intense cones of flame at the stone Meili was already commanding. The flames roared as they rocketed out of Tarek’s open palms and collided with the cold grey stone, shooting sparks in all directions. The flames behaved strangely and suddenly erupted into a bright blue color, indicating the amount of heat Tarek was generating. The ice around Tarek melted instantly, and Tarek had to keep moving as he channelled the intense flames just so that he didn’t sink completely into the ice. Tarek gave it his all, unleashing all his power until the rock glowed a bright-orange color and drops of red hot lava sizzled as they fell to the snow below. The Firelord was exhausted, after all it took a lot of heat to melt stone. Besides that, the frigid conditions and lack of sun meant that Tarek would need time to recover his energy again; but he had done his job, and now all that was left was for Meili to take down the beast once and for all.

Nelekar	With a curt nod at the Fire Lord, Nelekar jumped into action. Morphing the snow beneath him, he created a hard disk of ice for him to stand on, which he then sped towards the beast while riding. He caught up quickly, since the beast only ran on three limbs. He brought his arms around him in circular patterns, affecting all of the snow around both him and the beast as he did so. Water whips burst out of the snow, wrapping around the behemoth’s back legs. They gripped it around the ankles, pulling it backwards and causing it to collapse onto its stomach. Nelekar continued to circle his arms, causing more and more of the whips to grab on to the spirit’s play-thing, the intense pressure of the water more than enough to hold down the ice beast. He glanced backwards at the other two as he did so, and was shocked to see the huge ball of lava floating in the air. He yelped slightly and dived to the side, not wanting to be trapped in the path of such an intense attack.

Meili Mitali Zalika	Meili was mostly just focusing on smashing things and doing what she did best, although she also smashed her own earthen creation in order to give herself the needed mobility to get out of the way as the icy creature bounded for its master. Welp... she wasn't about to let that happen. Tarek seemed to have the right idea. "TAREK ARE YOU CRAZY!?!" she exclaimed, as she heard the reference to something she simply called "The Omashu Incident". "I'M IN!" Meili wasn't going to turn down a crazy stunt like that. She got her hardened rock, compressed it together, and then threw it up for Tarek to strike with his fire. It did exactly what they anticipated it doing. her rock glowed red before melting. She knew about lavabending (and knew of the little lavabending coal miner that lived in Ba Sing Se), but knew that until she learned its secrets, that she could work in tandem with Tarek to be able to make awesomeness happen. she threw the lava over a wide radius that would certainly outpace the icy monster. if it was too close to its master, he might get caught in the fray as well, but her final goal would be to blanket it in the lava, which would then simply melt the beast into plain old water when successful.

Tzekel-Kan	Tzekel-Kan and the beast looked at eachother. It looked like it was over. The beast couldn't move, Tzekel-Kan couldn't do much more than a limp, and was tired. There was a ball of lava coming for them. What could they do? NO! This wasn't going to end here. Tzekel-Kan had a point to make. To be an immortal. Not even three titans could kill him. Using the soulbound bond between him and the behemoth, he was able to convey his plan to it. It may not work, but he wasn't going to go down just yet. The beast, instead of pulling on the tethers from Nelekar, flipped onto it's back, throwing Tzekel-Kan at Nelekar at a terrifying speed. Whether he hit or not didn't matter. If Tzekel-Kan hit him, the tethers would weaken. If Nelekar moved out of the way, the same outcome would take place, the tethers weakening. The beast waited right before the lava ball was within lethal distance to start rolling to the side. It could feel it's back start to melt at simply being near it, and rolled farther and farther, eventually getting back up and launching itself at Tarek. The firebender was by far the biggest threat. But it knew from it's previous attempts to squash him failed from him moving out of the way easily. It would not be easy this time. It landed short of Tarek, sliding and throwing up literal tons of snow and ice into the air, hoping to blanket him and blind him. Tarek Raiden	Tarek sighed as Tzekel turned and attacked yet again! “Doesn’t this guy know when to quit?!” he muttered to himself as he swiped his hand at the man who was now flying toward Nelekar. Tarek’s motion generated a wave of searing heat, followed by an arcing fireblast, intended to put Tzekel off course. It was an accurate attack, aimed directly in Tzekel’s path. If the spirit didn’t change course he would be hit. Tarek then turned his attention to the beast again, which was now gunning directly for him. Tarek tried once more to dodge the attack by propelling himself backwards with a fire blast, but the heat he had to release to create lava had taken its toll, and he had not yet recovered his energy. The beast landed directly in front of him and covered him under a blanket of snow. The Firelord reacted quickly however, placing his hands near his mouth to create a small pocket of breathable air under the thick snow. Tarek was incapacitated for the moment, but he was now also safe from harm under the snow; it was time for him to recuperate while he had the chance. He closed his eyes and started manipulated his energy, using an old technique called, “Breath of Fire.” He retained his body heat in the freezing cold snow and began letting energy well up again his belly. Soon he would be able to emerge from his icy-tomb.

Nelekar	As soon as the beast flipped onto its back, Nelekar was prepared for some kind of deception. His water whips untangled themselves from the behemoth just in time for Tzekel-Kan to fly at him. At the same time, he saw Tarek firing an attack, and knew what he had to do. The whips flew out of the ground once more, grasping at the flying ancient spirit – but they didn’t hold him in place. They tied around his limbs and forced his trajectory to remain constant, right into the path of the fireball sent from the Fire Lord. After the fire blast and the spirit crossed paths, Nelekar leapt to the side, keen to avoid any charred remains that might still be travelling towards him. He landed with a roll, wincing slightly as he forced himself back up using his bad leg. Just as he did so, he saw Tarek covered in snow, with the beast close by. Pushing his hands forwards as if grasping the snow, he clenched his fists and brought them up, causing the avalanche to lift from Tarek and turn instantly to water, which in turn pulled down the ice behemoth’s arms, freezing them to the snowy ground. ”Give up – there’s no way you can escape. Come peacefully and you won’t have to die here.”

Meili Mitali Zalika	Just because Meili's lava projectile missed the first time did not mean that it had immediately hardened. In fact, all it did was cause her to force it apart with her own bending skills, sending a shower of smaller lava blasts towards the beast, with the hopes of melting what was left of it. The lava was in fact cooling, but with the super-heating from Tarek, it was bound to last a little longer. She was not sure if they could actually kill Tzekel-Kan. he was an ancient, immortal entity that might have had several ways out of mortality's grasp, but one thing they could do was get rid of that beast. Its days ended here. She had thought about helping Nelekar and Tarek, but she knew that they had their parts of the fight under control. So... while the lava began to do its work to the ice around it, Meili came in with more rock to do what she did best. Smash things. And today... Tzekel-Kan's ice behemoth was her target.

Tzekel-Kan	Tzekel-Kan screamed at the searing heat that arced across his torso. He fell headlong into the snow, missing Tarek. He tried to get up, but the pain was enormous, especially now that the super heated skin was now touching snow. He turned onto hi back where the pain was less, and looked to his behemoth. Meili was getting ready to pound it to pieces. Tzekel-Kan didn't know if he could separate his soul and put it into a statue like that again. He could not let it get destroyed. He was in too much pain to communicate in a way that it would silently hear him. He called out to it, yelling "GO! Go into the Spirit World! I'll come get you soon!" The beast turned to him, comprehending what he was saying. It leaped back far out of Meili's reach, and ran towards the portal at full speed. Tzekel-Kan got on his knees, panting in pain. He put a hand over his wound, green little wisps and tendrils coming from his hand to restore the skin to how it was a few moments before. "I-...." He hated saying this. "I surrender." He stood on his feet, his black hair hanging in his face. "Take me to whatever prison you desire. Just know that the whole plan, the one who orchestrated all of this, was Nelekar."

Tarek Raiden	The Fire Lord was still busy regaining his energy when he was suddenly plucked from the snow by an unseen force. Nelekar had freed him. Tarek quickly observed his surroundings and was pleased to see his attack had hit its mark. The Spirit lay on the ground in pain and the Icy Behemoth was retreating...Oh Meili wouldn’t like that one bit. He turned to the Spirit however, not wanting to chase the beast down and let its master escape. He took a deep breath and then exhaled sharply, letting out a wisp of searing hot steam, he had regained most of his chi-energy and would be ready for anything. He walked over to the man kneeling in the snow and looked to Nelekar for a moment before answering the Spirit. “Don’t waste your breath creature. I have no interest in your lies. The White Lotus will deal with you, and any others involved with freeing the vile and accursed Vaatu, for you have all brought a great darkness upon the world.” boomed Tarek as his eyes began to glow a deep orange color. He began to make a motion with his arms, moving them both in circular motion before him. The result was two flames that began to intertwine themselves around the spirit, subduing it. Tarek immediately looked at Meili, and then back at Nelekar. “I can hold him for the time being…but what are we going to do with him? I will need Zurok’s help to move him as I have expended too much energy already…and it is a particularly cold night. But we need to know what happened here tonight and he will have valuable information…” The Fire Lord paused, and his eyes were drawn back towards the mysterious spirit, “I am also curious to see exactly how his powers work…it could perhaps help up stop something like this from happening again in the future.”

Nelekar	With Tzekel-Kan defeated and his beast in retreat, Nelekar couldn’t help but grin. Had the spirit really thought that he could take on the combined might of the three of them? He walked over to where Tarek was talking with him and crossed his arms, looking down at his smouldering body. ”There is an old military base a few miles East of here. It’s heavily fortified, and with my troops guarding him he won’t have a chance to escape. It could also prove a good place for interrogation – the cold will get to him soon enough. It always does,” he said with a sadistic grin. ”The only other option is to take him by sea to another facility, for which I can arrange transport. I guess killing the beast is out of the option.” He gave the spirit a dark glare. For some reason, Tzekel-Kan was trying to blame the entire event on Nelekar – and he wouldn’t allow such a thing to pass by him so easily.

Meili Mitali Zalika	Meili was not about to let the beat run free though. it was already practically falling apart as things stood, but Meili wanted to seal the deal. Blasting herself foward with a powerful earthbending strike, the burly Earth Queen cannonballed through the air at a perfect arc, landing right behind the fleeing beast's head. balling her fist, she used the greatest precision strike the world had ever seen, and suddenly... nothing. the ice beast shattered into exactly 47,186,325,978,623,195,830 pieces, also launching Meili off, where she flipped through the air again, landing gracefully on her stone feet and sliding a few inches. "That takes care of that..." she grunted. it might come back or something. maybe the fragments could reform, or maybe it was like a phoenix where it was reborn after death. whatever the case, it was gone now. as for the talk of what to do with Tzekel... Meili stayed quiet. "I was gonna say we just smash him, but perhaps I'm thinking a bit too rashly." she noted, "and you, Nelekar... will have some explaining to do afterwards..." she had heard, and was not impressed. But, priorities... even Meili understood that there was a time and a place. She didn't just run in and smash things unless she first knew what was going on and knew what she was doing.

Zurok Mia Takamatzu	As if she had been waiting for this moment, Zurok appeared with surprising grace and agility, first being glimpsed over the peak of a small wall of ice. she dove off of this wall of ice, her cape fluttering, her arms spread out and her legs pointed up behind her. right before she would have planted her skull in the ice, she flipped and landed gracefully on her feet without a sound. "you called," she cooed, "aye... I apologize for not getting here sooner, but I have heard enough. Suffice to say that I was... delayed... coming here from the North. However... I am here now, and we can do business." Using powerful waterbending, she added her own touch to the trap that held the spirit, and she was totally in her element, thus not needing to expend extra energy the way Tarek was. furthermore--she was surrounded by her element. "Now... what do we do with this fellow, since clearly "smashing him" will have to wait?"
