Like his mother Nagi is a fierce and serious person who fights only for the greater good. Though he does not know much about the world he trusts his conscience when his mind is in doubt.
He did learn how to deceive when needed but does not enjoy the act he would rather be upfront with allies and naively from his enemies as well.
Close with those he befriends, gruff and cynical with his rivals, cold and ruthless to those he has named his enemies. Nagi treats people as he see they deserve to be treated and doesn't forgive serious offenses. By the same coin he doesn't easily discard his close friends or allies for alleged slights.
His mother and father had tried hard to shape and guide him so that he would never forget those who are his friends and not be deceived by those who are his enemies.

Being born on the Island of Kyoshi Nagi learned to handle swords at a young age though only as a practice in discipline tradition didn't allow him to become a warrior of his island in an official capacity. His daily routines did help keep him in shape physically and mentally. He rarely got away with any slacking due to his mothers vigilance. While the sword was his first talent it was still rough and his style too unorthodox and raw to be considered mastered.
He learned to handle the cable flight system during a visit to the northern air temple. The question of how best to combat large vehicles or outmaneuver a more agile opponent was posed to them by the earth kingdom officials and thus the legg harnessed Harpoon canons were developed.
Learning how to properly use these devices took up much of Nagi's time but under the tutelage of their creators and a few minor adjustments he finally managed to get the hang of it though as they were just prototypes at this point mastery still evaded him

Standing just short of six feet tall Nagi's lean muscled body leaves no doubt to his strength. His sword training has shaped his upper body and core and his training int eh northern airtemple toned his legs. he keeps his demeanor regardless of the situation. His dark hair and green eyes he shares with his mother however his gaunt face and narrow jaw are more common to his father. While some of the islanders preferred looser clothing due to their islands climate Nagi took to more functioning and sturdy and functional clothes. He soon took to wearing a long boots and a coat after learning to use the Cabled flight system. He keeps his hair cut short with his blades edge for combat purposes and also to avoid getting it caught while he was throwing himself around on the battlefield.

Being born on Kyoshi Island Nagi was raised under the watchful eyes of his mother and the other Kyoshi warriors. He inherited a desire to fight from her and his father who served in the earth kingdom military. Though traditions prevented him from joining the local militia that didn't stop him from training. Almost every day of his life he was trained as a warrior, weapons training, hand to hand combat and other practices were standard for his typical day along with normal studies and chores.
As he continued to train and study military history and swordplay he began to form his own ideal and style. However training and studying on his home island wasn't enough for Nagi and he set off from his home to find a better way to help his home kingdom and the world at large. He used his skill with the swords to help those he could but never tied himself down to one area. He still had alot to learn and he needed to explore and absorb as much as he could for that to happen.
On his travels Nagi was invited to stay in the Northern Airtemple where he learned a new invention that was supposed to assist a non benber in over coming the handicaps when trying to combat benders. Since throughout history the majority of any kingdom or nations armed forces were primarily benders Nagi could see the usefulness of this invention it would open the recruiting focus to non bending patriots anywhere. He agreed to help test and design the device and after several taxing years was rewarded by being gifted a working prototype.
Now Nagi has a new path to follow combining his swordsmanship with the handling of the steam powered grappling harness. Stealth may not be one of his strong points with the bulky contraption but the devastating speed and range it provides more than makes up for that in his eyes.
