Personality: Sakura is quiet and reserved and takes interest in how and why things work. Sakura tends to be quiet, and doesn’t like to be put on the spot. She would rather stay on the side lines and observe. In fact, Sakura is good at noticing small details that most people don’t see. Like, a leaf falling, or a plant wilting. Sakura is also a hard worker, and believe that you have to work to get it. She doesn’t prefer to be given things, and would rather work for it instead of being given something free, because she thinks that there is always a catch.

Abilities: Even though Sakura is from the fire nation, she cannot bend fire. Her maternal family didn’t know at the time that she could bend, or else Sakura would have been sent off to a mentor to be trained. When Sakura came to the Earth Kingdom, though, she soon found out she was a bender, and was trained by her close friend, Ichirou’s father.
Sakura is also active, and has the occasional run with her friend, Haruki, for a race to school. She also has the occasional jog around her town to blow off steam.

Sakura is short for her age, with a height of five feet four inches. Her skin is fairly pale, and Sakura tries to stay inside, because her skin burns very easily. Sakura’s body is thin, and at first glance, she appears weak. But, Sakura is actually fairly strong. She has powerful legs, from the races to school, and her arms are strong as well from serving people in the tea shop that she works at.
Sakura’s face is thin, and her chin is pointed. She’s got high cheek bones. Sakura’s eyes are big and round. They’re a deep blue. Sakura’s nose is fairly small, and is like a pig’s with the way that it sticks up slightly. Sakura’s hair is long, and goes down to her butt. She normally puts it up in a long braid, or in a bun.

History: Sakura was born into a small family in the fire nation. Her father was busy most of the time, and her mother was always off talking to her friends, leaving Sakura to play by herself. Sakura felt alone, and that her parents didn’t really love her.
Sakura’s best friend, Haruhi told her that she was being crazy, and to forget about it.
One day, when Sakura and Haruhi were playing in the woods a little bit away from their home, the two friends were playing hide-and-go-seek. Haruhi has trying to find Sakura, who happened to be hiding in a tree. Haruhi couldn’t find Sakura, so she gave up. As Sakura began climbing down from the tree, she slipped and fell, hitting her head on the way down.
Haruhi went off to get help, but an elderly woman found Sakura on the ground before Haruhi could come back. The elderly woman was visiting her son in Shu Jing, and decided to bring Sakura back to her home of Gaoling in the Earth Nation.
Once in Gaoling, the elderly woman looked over Sakura, who (other than the bump on her head) appeared to be fine. The woman soon found out that Sakura had lost her memory, and it would be impossible to find her family. So, she let her other son and daughter-in-law watch over Sakura. Sakura soon became close friends with their daughter, Haruki, and a boy from their school, named Ichirou.
When the family found out that Sakura was a bender, Ichirou’s father taught Sakura the basics of Earthbending.

Sakura stood on the porch outside of her home, lost in thought. She looked up at the sky, searching for answers. Who was she? Sakura hated the feeling of not knowing who she was. It was like waking up, and your mind being re-set. Sakura heard the door open, and someone step onto the porch with her. It was probably Sakura's best friend, Haruki. Haruki was her best friend, and was almost like her sister. "Hey," Haruki says, and goes over to Sakura, who returns the greeting. "Thinking about the past?" Sakura says nothing, but simply nods. She tells very few people about what happened when she was little because she felt like they would feel sorry for her, and she didn't need that. "Can't help what happened." Sakura says. She'd tried just about every method to bring her memory back, but nothing worked. It was completely severed. "It's like waking up in the morning, and not knowing who you are. Like you've reset yourself, and there's nothing you can do to get the memories back." Sadly enough, this was the one think that Haruki didn't share with her best friend. The feeling of being reset. "Sakura, you really shouldn't dwell on the past. You can't changed what happened." Haruki tried to reassure her friend. "You're right. Come on, let's go do something." Sakura says as rain starts to pour on the two, who immediately begin laughing. Quickly, the two girls hurried inside, and Haruki's mother got them both a towel to dry off. Sakura wrapped the towel around her, and pushed her dark brown hair out of her face. "Well that was fun." Sakura giggles, and then squishes the water out of her hair.
