Jirano Lee Xhiang

It was a very nice day out. Almost too nice. Jirano had an itch, like he was being watched. He had just made a lot of purchases in the market, to supply what seemed like Patsumi's never ending hunger. He felt a lot of Shady looks on his back as he was buying the food. He had a lot of money, and it showed. Jirano had a brown leather money pouch stuffed with gold and silver pieces. He had saved all of it from the gifts his father sent over, and his birthdays. He also got a lot from his aunt and uncle when he got his tattoos, and before he left to travel. As he was walking back he felt himself getting more and more paranoid. Every little noise he heard made him look in that direction. Eventually, he start running past the alleyways. He was a couple blocks away from Patsumi, when he was tripped by a wire. He could have sworn there was nothing there. He got back swiftly, and out of his curious nature, he was compelled to take a good look at at what caused the fall. He could sense Garth was getting uncomfortable but he payed no mind to it, abandoning all fear he had prior to the fall. It was then he was smacked across the face the same fear he had prior to the curiosity. His legs were bound to the earth. Knowing he wasn't going anywhere, he struggled anyways. Two shady thieves stepped out of the shadows. Jirano tried to whip a gust to knock them out, but they were so fast. And big. These figures seemed to grow as they moved closer. Easily six feet tall and ripped, both wearing no shirts. They were covered in tattoos and peircings, and carried blood soaked, midnight black machetes. Jirano lost his balance falling forwards, hands hitting the ground. What seemed like a simultaneous action to Jirano falling, the skinnier man made a quick move with his foot, securing both of Jiranos hand to the ground as well. His money pouch fell to the ground, and both men smiled, like they found something thats been lost for years. They picked it up snickering.
"Please don't, I'm begging you."
"Are you being serious? We just scored! We will be eating like kings tonight!" The skinny one snickered manically. Jirano struggled in his position some more.
The thicker one spoke up "Heya boss, what do we do now?"
"Well, I say we leave him here. If he is still here at the end of the day, we ki---" The skinnier figure was interrupted by a rock to the back of the head, knocking him out cold. The thicker one turned around just in time to get a similar rock between the eyes. Jirano looked though his legs, trying to make out who his savior was upside down. He looked like an Earthbender.

(OOC: I'm going to have to adjust the series of events a bit when it comes to how Pang subdued the two thieves. He wouldn't have done it that way. And for future reference, I suggest you leave how other characters bend up to the writer in question. But otherwise, a good post.)

The two thieves, still snickering over their find, suddenly felt the earth quake. Before they could move a muscle, however, a pair of columns burst out of the ground, slamming each against a different wall of the alley and pinning them here. It was something of a spectacularly anticlimactic end to this rather unpleasant situation. The purse filled with money flew out of the one thug's hand and right into that of a tiny little old man standing framed in the mouth of the alley. He was smiling pleasantly, weighing the purse full of copper, silver, and gold.

"Now, now, boys." the old man said, walking along the alley toward them. He reached up and twirled the edge of his mustache as he came upon the wire strung across the alley. It snapped instantly. As the two men struggled against the stone pillars pressing them against the walls, he continued on. "Didn't your mothers ever teach you to play nice? Hm."

He peered down at the machetes.

"Ah, so it's you who's been killing all those poor people. Shame." he said, tapping his foot on the ground. The stone binding the airbender boy crumbled instantly. "I think Kat was rather enjoying hunting you down. She's going to be so very disappointed that I got to you first. Ha, he, ha!"

His cackle was a little maniacal. But despite their desire to escape, the thieves' curiosity got the better of them.

"W-Who's Kat?" the skinny one asked.

"Shut up!" barked the other.

"Tsk, tsk." Pang said. With a snap of his fingers, a strip of stone from the building to which the larger one was pinned encircled his mouth, silencing him. "Let your classmates ask their questions, boy. How very rude! As for you," he looked back around at the skinny one. "Kat is General Katsumi Yu, of course. She's been after you for awhile. You really should thank your lucky stars I got to you first! She would have run you through. Oh, right! I almost forgot."

With a concise movement of his hand, he brought stones up to bind the larger of the two's hands and feet. He was the bender of the pair. The idiot had missed his opportunity to escape. With another movement, this time of his foot, he sent a message to the Breach. It was a clever little move he'd come up with. It took a real master to sent an earthbending message over that kind of distance, but a real master he was. At long last, he turned his full attention to the Airbender kid. With a pleasant smile, he offered him the pouch. Sym jabbered quietly from her perch on his shoulder, keeping her huge red eyes on the two thieves in case one of them made a move.

"This yours, kid?"

(OOC: Oh! I have no idea what came over me! I did not mean to control what your character did, my fault! Also, I dont like my chat box, so im just going to write..)

Jirano, feeling the grip of the earthen bindings release, got up and dusted himself off. He looked up to see his savior, who at that moment was finishing up with the thugs.

"Yes, sir! Thank you so much!"

With a grin he shook the man's hand nice and firm like he was taught by his uncle. His uncle always said a firm handshake is a sign of good character.

"I really thought those guys had me. My curiosity gets to me sometimes, and with that it can be a hindrance. So, may I ask your name sir?"
