Gysu lead the two other Freedom Fighters into the palace, he could almost feel the warmth of his child's body that he would feel when he went to go and pick her up. He looked over to Zehir and T.K., he told them to wait for him inside of the gardens and he directly showed them where it was. He then went out in search of his love.

T.K. followed Gysu with the hood of his earth robes pulled up covering all of his long white hair and the majority of his child-like face. It was tied by a brown belt around his waist and inside his robes he wore a white outfit much like that of the people Tatooine. It also had a brown belt around the waist in which his twin handles Lux hung at his left and right sided. He still wondered what they were going there for. No one would be able to identify him in his Earth robes . . . though his face was one that was known by many. Whether they praised him for helping people . . . or were the ones trying to capture him for being a fire nation refugee. He remembered how he wore the same exact outfit when he had met Tammy, his deceased wife. He remembered the day their son was born . . . their wedding day . . . all the great times they had. He had a life before. He had work and a wife, a son, a family, friends . . . but they were gone now. This was his life now and he dedicated it to defending what he defended. The poor, the weak, the innocent, and the citizens of all nations against their leaders. The leaders didn't care about commoners . . . so someone had to.

The palace was beautiful from his point of view and he hoped he could one day view it without a hood on. One day when he was no longer wanted by the nations . . . he would come back here and view it a free man. Gysu lead them to a garden which was elegent, beautiful, and T.K. could tell it was kept well after.

"Have you ever been to the Palace before," T.K. asked Zehir as he awaited Gysu's return. He had never been there before and didn't quiet know what to expect.

Zehir

Zehir had been zoned out a bit, but she managed to hear the second half of the question. "..been to the palace before?"

She thought of her answer, thinking of all the times she'd been here. She gave her head a little shake and said,

"Uhh yeah. I used to come here and just...look at the gardens. It was so much better than what I had. I just-I came here when I was feeling a bit worse than usual. I guess I never had anyone, but I always had places, things to see. This was one of them.," She rubbed her elbow as she said this, looking at the ground. She was was being incredibly open with TK, but she still had her nervous mannerisms. After she finished speaking, she gave her head a little shake and then smiled.

"It's always so nice here."

Meanwhile in the Dinning Hall:

Gysu walked on in Mulanza from behind. He crept up tip toe to her as she ate. Next to her was little Breling, his daughter. Gysu continued creeping up on Mulanza, he wanted to surprise her with a little gift. When he got to her he touched her shoulder and handed her a flower made of earth. "I'm back," He said, "Can we go on with the wedding?"

Zehir had seemed a bit soned but she gave a head shake before replying "Uhh yeah. I used to come here and just...look at the gardens. It was so much better than what I had. I just-I came here when I was feeling a bit worse than usual. I guess I never had anyone, but I always had places, things to see. This was one of them." As she spoke she rubbed her elbow while looking at the ground.

"It's always so nice here," Zehir added with a slight head shake and smile. She was being very open with T.K. and he felt as if part of her didn't want to tell T.K. this. He didn't want her or anyone feeling pressured or something by him. He didn't roll with ruling with fear or intimidation or pressure. Things like that were what ruined his previous life before he turned to be a freedom fighter.

"Yeah . . .," T.K. said agreeing as he thought of his old home in the fire nation. It was filled with terrible memories and experiences but he couldn't deny the beauty of the Fire Nation's Palace. The Earth Kingdom's Palace was also beautiful. Perhaps one day, T.K. thought, I shall view this sight with unprosicuted eyes. "Growing up in the Fire Nation . . . I spent some time in the Fire Nation's Palace. It was beautiful but . . . I never got the chance to fully appreciate it. I didn't have the luxury an escape. The fire nation tried to set my destony in stone . . . but I didn't want to be a war machine."

He was trying to as open as Zehir was with him but . . . it was hard to talk about those times without thinking of his deceased family. He loved the beauty of the palace but he hated the palaces themselves. He knew the only reason they were even able to be there was because the rich stole the money from the poor. These palaces were built of the hard earned money of the working class. It was unfair.

"I love the beauty of the palaces," T.K. admitted, "But I hate them. Because I know the only reason they're here is because the rich take the money from the poor. This whole place and the other palaces are built soley off the hard earned money and the backs of the working class. It's unfair . . . but since when were any of the nations ever fair to their citizens. They couldn't care less if their everyday citizens dropped dead."

Mulanza's reply was short and simple.
"Aye," she nodded, "let us proceed."

she had seen a couple of unfamiliar children's faces recently, and wondered what they were up to and who they were. it didn't concern her much unless shit hit the fan, as her memories were Meili's, and Meili was used to seemingly innocent citizens and servants meandering on up to her and then making attempts on her life. if anyone was dumb enough to try it on Mulanza, there would be blood.

Zehir

Zehir went into deep thought for her response. She didn't necessarily agree with TK's opinion, but she didn't a disagreement. Especially after so much progress. "Yeah, they're just vampires." She gazed at the beautiful scene. The gardens were incredibly well maintained and burst with color. The architecture could only be done by Earthbenders with eyes for tiniest details. It was so pretty, and she didn't care how the money to build it was made. She retracted a bit, "But at least they make such pretty stuff with what they take,"

Zehir had witnessed the deception, thievery, and murder done by the lower class citizens for years. They did it to get what they wanted and nothing more. She believed that every group of people was full of good and bad and that no class was more moral or better than the other. She'd seen more evil than good though. She didn't think the world was a good place to be, and she often contemplated what it's like after this life. She didn't think it would be anything better, she expected there to be nothing at all.

She wondered who this group of Freedom Fighters would actually be fighting for, and whether she should be fighting for them at all.

TK seemed good though, and Gysu, maybe there was something in that. Maybe this would turn out alright. She realized she'd zoned out again. She gave her head a little shake.

Gysu smiled and took her hand, her sweet hand. He loved her so much. He looked at her and he told her that he had invited two friends to the wedding, though they did not know that it was a wedding that they were going to attend. He hoped that she would not mind their company for the wedding. He then asked, "So, shall we get started?"

She wasn't sure if she minded it or not. She was curious at to who they were, and she let this issue become known by asking him who they were, and what were they doing here. Mulanza, as well as Meili, were unfamiliar with the faces, and after the incident, Meili was not exactly fond of bringing strangers into her courts.

Gysu looked at her and smiled, here is what he told her. "That one right there's name is T.K., he is, er, was a member of the Fire Nation army. He abandoned them for good reasons. The female is Zehir, she is a bounty hunter as I am. But let us not talk of such things, today is a happy day." With that he asked her as too how long it would be until the wedding started.

Mulanza's brow furrowed.
"Perhaps that is exactly *why* I wish to talk of such things." she remarked. "the day my mother was attacked was a happy day as well before the incident. Tell me more about them if you would, and why complete strangers need to be here for this occasion."

Gysu looked at her, he quickly told her everything he knew about T.K.'s past. His father killing his wife in the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation trying to turn him into a war machine. Everything. But Gysu did not know if T.K.'s trouble with the law, so he did not mention anything about that. He then mentioned rather briefly about how Zehir had helped him on several occasions when it came to a group of people who all had bounties that worked together. "There, that's all I know." Gysu said. "So, can we begin soon? I would really like to get this over with before I get cold feet."

"Yeah they're just vampires," Zehir responded as T.K. sat on a bench, ""But at least they make such pretty stuff with what they take."

As he noticed Zehir zoning out T.K. decided to simply look around him sitting almost entirely still. It was beautiful. He began to comtemplate on Zehir's comment on vampires. Everyone was a bit of a vampire. Even the poor take every little thing they can get. The rich just take which is practically stealing and the poor steal with no remorse. He himself faught for all those endangered. The true people of the nations, it's people. Why can't the leaders of the four nations just care about their peole? H ehad never been to an air temple or water tribe with the exception of the swamp benders so he really couldn't say anything about their leaders. He fights for that child who's going to die when the war breaks out. He fights out for the people because in the end the rich will cause the death of the citizens. He had seen some low lifes on both sides but he kenw that there were good guys on both sides of the poor and rich. You can't classify them all together but he knew that it wasn't the fire lord who was going to get caught in the middle of the battle. Oh no it was the little earth kingdom family living in an impoverished life style in a makeshift hut because of everything that the rich did. It was them who would get caught in the cross of battle. The civilian casualties of wars that they never supported or asked for were the things that made him want to protect them. Nobody should have to die for something they want no part in. The fire nation had tried to force him to fight for something he didn't believe in before. He knew what it was like, and his wife, son, father-in-law, and best friend happened to have been some of those Earth Kingdom civilians that got in the cross during the battle between the earth and fire nation. He noticed Zehir shake her head meaning she was done zoning. He wondered when Gysu would be back.

"Not everything all the nations buy with the cicilians money is beautiful though this is," he said admittingly, "The Fire Nation uses the money of their people to create weapons. Civilians are nothing but a human shield in the rich's mind. Though not all are the same. Some are good on both sides. I've lived on both sides. Poor and rich. I can say that the rich were much worse than the poor that I knew."

Zehir

Zehir, once again, thought this opinion was a bit more pessimistic than her own views. She wondered how TK had been hurt in the past, he seemed very bitter towards authority. She looked up at him and said, "I used to get the supplies for a shop. It was hard work, but I loved the travel I had to do to get everything it needed. It basically sold anything used by bad people, and our buyers were usually the poor." She looked up, thinking of the next words to say. "Now I'm not saying that the poor are worse than the rich, but I would say that everyone is human. Everyone has that bit of darkness in them, and everyone has the," she paused, "want to do bad things. I'd say that every person does wrong things equally, maybe just in different ways."

"Then again, I haven't talked to too many rich people. Maybe you know better than me."

Mulanza had at least one trait like her mother, and that was her bluntness.
"very well." she nodded politely, a gentle smile appearing on her face as she processed this information. "we may proceed."

Gysu took her hand and lead her out to the garden for the wedding. He called for the queen herself to wed them. It was funny how he had tried to have her killed and he attacked her Dai Li and now she was probably going to be the one to wed him. He stood at the ready for his next part.

and soon, Meili went through the ceremony. She, as well as the Dai Li and Kyoshi Warriors (some of which were dressed as nobility, and were indistinguishable from the others) kept a watchful eye for anything suspicious. luckily, it seemed that such was not to be the case today, and eventually, the vows were exchanged and the deed was done.

Alex would be enjoying the wedding as he had strayed from the group. He was working hard on his own things, he was to meet a informant that had went bad for a special case. He was inferring, and telling other people about there deeds. Which had brought more trouble to the well known stalkers, but now he had to blend in. Pretending to be a Earth noblemen in the works, as he came across a beautiful girl in the gardens. Another person was with her, but he wouldn't mind talking to him as well. As he overheard there little chat from a distance, but soon walked over to them.

He walked calmly, and graceful like a noblemen to play the part. As he would soon look at the them, but gave the girl a charming smile. He was dressed in a nice kimono, that held green coloring and designs like the earth nation itself. The top of the clothing was open around his neck, exposing his perfect pale skin and his blonde hair that covered his eyes. Which most of the earth nation noblewomen would be asking him for his company, but he wasn't one to be asked.

He was one to do the asking, but he would come out of his throughts to stare at her. " I'm sorry for walking in on your discussion, but I couldn't resist the temptation that was you. Your quite beautiful, and I was drawn to you like the water to the moon. Where are my manners, my name is Tai long and what may be yours miss "

Zehir

A man approached, but Zehir hadn't had the thought that he might be walking toward her. He flashed a smile, and her eyes went wide out of fear. He was attractive, but situations like this were intimidating for Zehir. She didn't understand what this man would want with her, and the closer he came, the more Zehir stared at the ground and rubbed her elbow.

"I'm sorry for walking in on your discussion, but I couldn't resist the temptation that was you..."

What? There was no way this man could be attracted to her. He was glorious, and she was peasant-like. She looked up for a second at him and then at TK to make sure that he wasn't talking to him. When she found that this man was, indeed, talking to her, she whipped her head back down in anxiety. Her dusty clothes gave no givings, and her average face didn't earn any points either. When he said this, her hand started shivering, and was definitely out of her control now. Her eyes remained the size of dinner plates, and her mouth was slightly open, showing her grayish teeth. Her face was nearly blood red with embarrassment and anxiety.

"You're quite beautiful, and I was drawn to you like the water to the moon...

After this comment, Zehir dipped her head further, making sure that no eye contact could be made. Her face managed to redden further, and she crossed her arms over her chest in some kind of mental defense.

"Where are my manners, my name is Tai Long, and what may be yours miss?"

She gave her head the slightest lift, looking at Tai through her hair. "Z-z-z-z-z-zeh-zeh-zehir." She dipped her head in shame.

PostSubject: Re: A Wedding.   A Wedding. EmptySun Apr 29, 2012 7:51 pm

Before he could answer he saw Gysu walking out for the wedding and he smirked under his hood. He was surprised. Not about Gysu getting a girl or anything but more so that he was getting married on the same day he met him. Memories of his own wedding day swarmed through his mind. He could still see his wifes beautiful eyes and he could remember how overoyed his father-in-law had been. The complements from his best man. It had all seemed so perfect. So . . . amazing and right. Like he could get lost in that moment forever. He loved her so much it was destroying him partially to be seeing a wedding but he was happy for his new found companion. Though at the same time he felt bad as if he was taking him away on something that he might not exactly come back from. He had a feeling Gysu could very well hold his own but T.K. was no fool. He knew anything could happen at any time. He hadn't expected it when his father showed up with a small army and musrdered everyone close to him and destroyed the Earth Village he had learned to call his home for oh so long. The image of the light leaving his wifes eyes swarmed through him again but he pushed it off as best he could before listening to what was happening.

It was then that he noticed the Earth Queen. It was horrible. What was he thinking? That he could avoid the Earth Queen in her own palace? He should've thought it through more. He shouldn't have come. What if he was recognized? He had never met her but he knew that he was wanted in the Earth Kingdom. he hadn't even done anything. He did nothing but build a life there. Yet if he hadn't those many people would still be alive. It was a horrible thing and he could never forgive himself for the deaths of his family. Had he never gotten involved with them they might've had a chance of living. They might've not even been attacked. He was wanted solely because of where he was born . . . the fire nation. He hated the idea of nations separated. He believed that the nations should be one though not under kings and queens but an group of wise people who had the best interest of the nation as a whole in mind with every decision they made. Or at least work together in harmony. Like when Fire Lord Zuko was leading the fire nation. It was prosperous and good. But now? Now people had to die once more due to the few who decided things. They didn't care. What was another poor Earth civilian dead to them? It didn't effect them in anyway. He didn't knwo who Meili really was completely though having never actually met her. And he knew there were good leaders and rich people in the world. He just wasn't going to find out if she was or not as his face wasn't one you mistake. Especially for a fire nation person. He looked out of place without his hood as he didn't look like an Earth Kingdom person and looked even less like a fire nation person. luckily he had his hood up still covering almost his entire face as it reached just above his mouth. He hoped he wouldn't be discovered as he had no intentions of going to jail or hurting anyone either. After the ceremony was finally over a man by the name of Tai Long approached hitting on Zehir who seemed a bit scared or rather she didn't quite know what to do with the situation other than stutter her name as her face grew redder and redder. He was quite smooth and knew his way with words obviously. He figured that it if Zehir was ever going to learn about this kind of situation firsthand experience was the best way. He spotted Gysu and figured it was time he paid his respects from to the groom and congradulate the newly wed couple. He began to walk by Zehir but stopped for a moment putting his hand on her shoulder for about the three seconds he talked.

"Good luck," he said, "Call my name if there's any trouble."

He then walked off hiden in his earth kingdom disguise. He was no harm to anyone really though he could put up an impressive fight there was no doubt about that. What is meant is that he wasn't looking for any trouble or rather didn't want trouble to find him. He approached Gysu and the bride he was yet to be introduced to.

"Congradulations," he said offering his hand for either of them.

Zehir

"Good luck. Call my name if there's any trouble."

She flicked her head toward TK, her eyes bulging as he left. He walked away, and Zehir's hand reached toward him in desperation. He was leaving her to drown!

"T-TK?" she said, like an animal about to be put down. She realized how silly she must look, and she quickly folded her arms again. She looked at Tai's eyes for a second then quickly flicked them to the ground.

"Sorry," she whispered.

Gysu felt as though he was walking on air, today was perfect. He was wedded to the woman that he loved, and he even had a wonderful little girl. He then saw T.K. walking up to them. Once he got close enough, Gysu began to talk to him. "Hey, Kid, I told my beautiful wife here about us working together as bounty hunters. I hope that was okay?" He asked, hoping that T.K. would get what he had told her and that he would not talk about his true past here.

He would look at the girl with even more interest, as she seemed to be a tad bit shy. He didn't want to scare her at all, he was a gentlemen to the code. But he did have his ways around things, but it was hard to do such things with a crowd. She finally came back to face him, and said that she was sorry.

" It's quite alright miss, I understand if your nervous. I was abit myself just to talk to someone as beautiful as you. But I never got your name? that could be good way to say sorry "

He said with a charming smile, as he would look at her with his pink eyes. Waiting to see what she may say, hopefully she would talk to him. He was a very patient person, so it wouldn't be much of a problem to help her come out of her shell.

Zehir

Zehir took a deep breath and then said, "My name is Zehir." Her hands were still shaking a bit, but she'd slowly realized this man wasn't going to hurt her emotionally or physically.

All the nervous sweat had made her incredibly thirsty. She licked her dry lips and stared at a table of refreshments.

"Umm...I'm going to get a drink." She awkwardly didn't invite him to follow her, not on purpose though, she just didn't understand that she should. She walked toward the drinks, unaware of her social ineptness.

Mood: Super Mega Nervous

Alex look at her with interest, as she just walked away from him. He guessed that she was new to the whole a guy talking to a girl, or at least sweet talking. He didn't mind at all but soon followed her to the refreshment table, as he would look at her with a calm smile. He grabbed some wine from the table, as he would just take a sip then returning his gaze back to her.

" Zehir I find the name exotic, and if your scared of me. I understand that I must be strange, just walking up to you. I just couldn't contain myself, I was taking by your beauty "

He looked at her with his charming smile, but maybe she needed time. He would just take another sip of his drink, as he would look around his surroundings. He didn't want people to look at him strangely, but so far his disguised was working.
