Gysu walked into his and Mulanza's bedroom. Mulanza was sitting there on the bed, she was due any day now. He walked over to her and kissed her, "Hey, feeling okay?" He sat down next to her. "Imagine taking our child over to the swamps when he or she is older."

"I'm okay." she replied, "Admittedly, very tired though, but that should be no surprise."
she took a deep breath.
"I do hope that this child can grow up and see the beauties of the natural world. I hope that it is a child of strength and skill; one of power and intellect."

it was less than 2 days later that Mulanza finally went into labor. the process was long and painful, as birth-giving was, but in the end, Mulanza was relaxing serenely, and in her arms was a healthy baby girl.
There was still the issue of naming the child, but that would be done in a few minutes--after she was cleaned up and rested for a bit.

Gysu was there by her side for the whole thing. He stood next to her and he gently raised the child from her arms and he held her. tears of happiness were forming around his eyes. He then handed her back to Mulanza as he began to think of some names. Kunai sounded good, but it was also the name of a weapon. "Hey, how about we name her after my mother? Briling?"

"well," Mulanza answered, "there are three names to choose for her, that's for certain. I suppose Meili would want her line and royal name to be continued for her surname, but I suppose that's still a question we get to decide...."

"...I have always been one for the name of my grandmother, Zuzere. it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but there's something about it... a taste of power..."
she paused and took a deep breath. "but... it might just be me."

"Well," Gysu began to reply, "How's about Breling Zuzere Zalika?" He began to walk around a with a bit of tension, he thought that everything was going to be a huge challenge. But he stopped, shrugged it off and continued to stand by Mulanza. "The royal name is not something I want to change. I'm a little too afriad of your mother for that." He explained.

[heh. I was actually thinking that same thing.]

Mulanza nodded, seeming more content.
"I can go with that." she approved, "and so shall her name be."
she cradled the child close to her chest and closed her eyes. she was tired, and wanted sleep.

(OOC: I usually say great minds think alike in cases like this. But my mind has been anything but great for the past while.)

Gysu saw how tired she was and decided that she needed her rest. He kissed her forehead and left her to rest. He went down the hall thinking of how they had never even gotten married. Now there was a though, getting married. Gysu could hardly fathom it. But, Breling may want her parents to be together. He thought about it for a while, and decided that it was all in Breling's best interest.
