ADVENTURE!

Subject: ADVENTURE! Tue Aug 23, 2011 7:15 pm

After buying her ferry ticket, she turned and sat on one of the stools against the walls to wait for her ferry to arrive. Excitement coursed through her blood, and she could hardly sit still. She was headed to the Southern Water Tribe, she could barely abstain herself from screaming aloud! She twiddled her thumbs, trying to remain calm as she watched the people pass and she waited for the signal to tell her to board her ferry.

Loki was walking near the docks, holding a bunch of jewelry and other objects. She didn't look very rich at all, but she was holding so many expensive objects it was sure to attract attention. She had a ring on each finger already, and a very expensive necklace with a small flawless diamond on it. But her simple black clothing, didn't show much regal or richness about her. She seemed to be content, but not with the jewelry, more like some kind of thrill. She cast her eyes around and then seemed to quietly laugh to herself about some secret joke only she was in on.

Xandra spotted the laughing girl in black. She was covered in sparkling jewels, and Xandra looked at them curiously from afar. She'd never seen real gems close up, so she walked up to the girl and smiled. "Hello, I'm Xandra! I couldn't help but notice the jewels you have, and I was wondering if I could look at one for a moment? I've never actually seen gems up close." She looked at them longingly, then realized it was bad manners to stare, so she looked at her hands for a moment.

Loki laughed in her mind at the transfixed girl, so attracted to her many riches. "Here, you can have one, I've got plenty." Loki held up a ruby ring and handed it to the hypnotized girl.

Xandra looked from the ring to the girl and back to the ring again. She reached out her hand tenatively, as if she was going to take it away, then grabbed it quickly and watched the sunlight play on the precious little gem. Then, realizing her bad manners, she looked up. "Thank you." She looked at it again, then slipped it onto her finger.

"Oh don't worry, I mostly do it for the thrill, owning them isn't nearly as exciting." Loki didn't know if the girl knew she was a thief so she didn't specify anything. Loki enjoyed watching reactions and this was definitely a fun one to watch. Especially when the girl had taken the ring so quickly, she must not be very trusting if she suspected Loki would just say "gotcha" and take the ring away.

It was a long line in the ferry ticket booth and Shiva is bored. She walked around searching for something to do. She saw 2 girls discussing something, a jewel took her attention.

She pulled 3 flaming darts from her pocket. Lit it and threw it near the girls.

"Alright, give me your jewels and no one will get hurt!" She lit a flaming dart and held it in one hand to make an illusion of fire bending. She walked towards them.

Xandra looked at the woman and raised her eyebrows. She didn't like fighting, but obviously this girl didn't know who she was dealing with. Her wrist whipped upward, forcing water out of her canteen. She held it suspended in the air and smirked at the her. "I'm not looking for a fight, but I will defend myself." She said, glaring at the girl, her brown eyes changing to blue because she was angry. The first time she'd ever had anything valuable to herself, and this woman was trying to take it away! No, she refused to let that happen. The water she was holding in midair began to separate, and started to take a form like the blade of a knife. It began to freeze, and Xandra looked at the girl who gave her the ring. She didn't know if she would help her fight this strange firebender.

Shiva threw the flaming dart from her hand because she held it for too long and she was hurt. "Darn it, they must not know that I'm fake!" She hid her burnt hand in pocket and eyed at the waterbender.

"Playing rough eh? I know who would want to be hurt so give me they ring and you're all safe."

She secretly grabbed a vial of exploding chemicals just to be ready if a fight breaks out.

"I'm not giving you the ring! You'll pry it off my cold dead fingers first!" Xandra yelled. People around were starting to notice a fight, and were either walking away quickly, or gathering around to watch. The water Xandra was suspending in the air froze completely, and shot towards the girl's feet and head, so she couldn't duck nor jump. Her blue eyes flashed, and she turned and ran toward the ocean, a rail forcing her to stop. She bended the water to surround herself. This girl was NOT going to win.

She shielded herself by raising her left arm and lowered her right. The ice blades hit her bangles. "Good thing I got 20." She thought. She saw the ocean behind them. "A waterbender and a great ocean...how great!" She thought, "There's no way I'll win."

She took one of her grey vials and threw it in the ground. A great fog was let out of the small bottle. Shiva used this to escape.

When the fog was out, Shiva is nowhere to be found.

Xandra's blue eyes slowly returned to brown, and she bended the water surrounding her back into the ocean once she realized that the woman was gone. She clutched her head in one hand, because she always got horrendous headaches after bending too much water. She heard the ferryman calling for everyone to board, and she knew she'd have to leave. She couldn't find the girl in black that had given her the ring, but hoped she'd catch up. She refilled her canteen at a water fountain, then ran aboard the ferry.

"What an interesting girl." Loki followed the waterbender onto the ferry, and decided it would be fun to see what else this girl was capable of. Maybe even mess around with her. But she wouldn't let her know she was there, that wouldn't be any fun.

She was bored. She fiddled with her chopsticks, staring at the noodles she'd just bought. They smelt horrible, and she was trying to decide if she'd eat them or not. She decided the fish could have them, then knocked the bowl into the ocean. She resumed playing with the chopsticks, before knocking them into the water as well. She began to bend the ocean water into weird shapes, making mermaids and the Unaggi, and elephant Koi. These were things she'd heard about when she was a child, but she didn't exactly know what they looked like, so she was guessing.
