Deadly Work [Tsukiyomi] Empty
PostSubject: Deadly Work [Tsukiyomi]   Deadly Work [Tsukiyomi] EmptyMon Jan 05, 2015 6:06 am

Jiraia exited the Spirit portal and quickly left the center of the town in order to avoid the fight between San and Tzekel-Kan. Sure, San was his ally, but stepping in would be dishonorable to the both of them.

It seemed all the other Xuri Members were occupied with fights and could not really pay attention to guarding the portal all too well. Jiraia decided that since that was the case, he would do the guarding. Jiraia began a patrol around the edge of the town. From what he could tell, it seemed that the Earth Kingdom Forces have yet attempted their counterattack on the Dark Spirits.

It's a shame, Jiraia thought to himself, He was hoping the Earth Kingdom would put up more of a fight.

So Jiraia continued his patrol around the city, hand on the hilt of his sheathed blade, followed by 3 spirits that didn't attack him, thanks to the works of San.

[OOC: Yea, Please respond to my PM and let me know if you want Kei to also jump in this fight]

Tsukiyomi

Tsuki watched from her spot in the bushes as a fight would erupt between spirits and the military. Others would seem to involve themselves as well, taking on people probably the cause behind all of this. Tsuki would move higher up to the branch of a tree full of leaves to conceal her presence with. She drew her bow just in case one of the spirits would spot her, which she doubted. She was paying careful attention to both the fighting and her surroundings, more so her surroundings because her life she valued more than the state of this village in all honesty. It was to be noted she had not spotted her target for whom she came all this way for yet.

As she looked on in curiosity, Tsuki would catch movement along the edge of town. A red haired man with a sword, followed by three black spirits who were not threatening his life. Well Tsuki was no detective, though she has been hired for detective work before, but if she had to take a guess she would say this man was one of the people causing trouble. He seemed to be keeping to himself while the others of his faction fought. Typical guard type is what Tsuki thought of him. I could probably get a nice reward for taking this one out. The thought was enough to bring Tsuki into action.

Tsuki would knock and release three arrows in rapid succession as fast as possible from her position in the trees. She released an arrow, each for the dark spirits following the man, as they revealed their backsides to her in their passing. Each arrow was aimed to pierce their heads and hopefully be enough to put them down. She opted not to release an arrow for the man simply because she wanted to judge his reaction to his entourage being put down. She'd knock another arrow and be on the ready as she would watch for success or failure of her attack.

Let's see how you take it.

Jiraia saw from the corner of his eyes the three arrows flying in his direction. Turning his head to see the arrows better, Jiraia saw that they weren't aimed at him, but rather at the three Dark Spirits.

The Spirits are of no concern of mine. Jiraia thought to himself as he made no attempt to save the Spirits from the arrows.

The Dark Spirits didn't see the arrows coming and each one soon received an arrow to the head. With that, all the Spirits were instantly incapacitated.

Jiraia looked over to the treeline in the direction the arrows were fired. Although he didn't know where exactly his aggressor was hiding, he knew their general location. All it would take was small movements or some kind of attack and their position would be revealed.

Hand on the hilt of his sheathed sword ready to counter any attack, Jiraia began walking to the tree line from which the arrows were fired. The attacker would have to move or attack, standing still would be useless as Jiraia would get close enough to see them eventually, even if they are hiding.

Tsukiyomi

Tsuki smirked as she saw her three arrows hit their mark easily. It became obvious to her that the man cared not for their well being. He had no need for them, which meant he was capable of holding his own in battle. No surprise there. Tsuki would have to be careful, like always. Tsuki would knock three arrows at once along her bow, vertically aligned. As she did so, the man just began making his way toward the tree line. She would shift her weight slightly on the branch toward her back side. This next attack would have to be timed just right. Tsuki would release all three arrows at one time as she simultaneously would leap backwards from her spot on the tree branch to the ground behind her, landing in a bush. The three arrows would soar quickly toward the red haired man, one toward the head, the heart, and the groin. The plan was to keep her position change hidden as the man would have to defend against the three arrows.

Tsuki would creep in the shadows of the forest, from bush to bush, tree to tree. She would keep an eye on the red haired man all the while having an arrow at the ready. Of course this attack, hide, attack strategy wouldn't work for too much longer without a hit. She would have to change up her tactics depending on how the next few moves go.

Lightning fast reflexes, Jiraia's sword flew out of his sheath as he made a single vertical slash, knocking aside all three arrows in a single strike. Just as fast as his sword flew out of his sheath, Jiraia, put it back in, continuing to rest his hand on his sheathed sword.

Jiraia didn't break a step as he did this, and he continued walking towards his opponent who was hiding in the tree line.
"Do not try to prolong your fate." He called out, "Whether you hide or not, my Sword will soon reach your flesh."

Tsukiyomi

This was getting her no where. The swordsman still pressed forward into the forest as she hid, not phased by her last three arrows. Arrows versus a sword was hardly effective unless one had a good drop on their target, which Tsuki did not at this moment. But no matter, everyone had their weaknesses. She'd just have to find his.

Tsuki would catch glimpse of her reflection on the ground in front of her. A puddle left behind from the heavy rain of the last night. It was a reminder of her capabilities. She sighed as she would crouch down, removing the arrow quiver from her back and dipping it in the puddle. Water would fill the lower half of the quiver before she would return it to her back.

Tsuki would walk out from behind the tree, the swords man in her sight about eight meters ahead of her. She'd whistle after having released an arrow for his head. "So, you're the cause for all of this commotion?" She spoke rehtorically. She lowered her bow to her side as she spoke. Perhaps she could get some information out of him, who knew. This was all a cause for a different approach.

Jiraia watched as a woman emerge from the treeline. She launched another arrow in his direction, which Jiraia simply countered once again with lightning reflexes, his sword in hand shot out of his sheath knocking the arrow out of the air before it had hit his head. Jiraia then immediately re-sheathed his sword.

"So, you're the cause for all of this commotion?" The woman had asked.
"Not entirely, I just happened to be comrades to those that have created this commotion. So far, I've just been tagging along watching." Jiraia replied.

Jiraia watched the woman carefully. Coming out of hiding as she did meant to things: A) she gave up with her sniper approach and would simply take him head on, or B) She had some kind of plan in mind. Jiraia was pretty sure it was the latter.

Jiraia continued to walk towards her, not breaking pace.
"What do you want?" Jiraia casually asked her, "It's not death is it?"
