Youta Zhu	Youta had been in Ba Sing Se before but he hadn't really had time to enjoy it, he had been pre-occupied with a group of people who led him into a crazy adventure. It seemed that Youta was always in crazy adventures. Maybe he was attracted to them like a moth to a flame. Nevertheless he wanted to just enjoy the view this time, going around different shops seeing what was happening and of course find a woman to spend the night with so he wouldn't have to pay for an inn. He wasn't wearing his Fire Nation robes or his Earth Kingdom robes currently, having decided to sport his black top and trousers that usually went underneath his robes. His red hair was a lot messier than usual as well due to having rushed his way outside. He did however still have his trust Dao blades in their sheaths and was on his way to find something new. He had a small bag which contained his traditional Fire Nation clothes and some other items he might need later but that was pretty much it. He had gone from once living a life of luxury and pleasure with his parents, to now living a life of a traveler who never stayed in one place for too long. He was no closer to ruling the world or at least some of it. He'd have to try and fix that some time soon. He often thought about joining the military for the Fire Nation. An honorable job. He did not however, have the patience to start from the bottom of the military ranks which was filled to the brim with amateurs. A General or Admiral, that was a rank he could get behind. For now he was simply Youta, traveler of the world.

Daichi	Daichi arived in Ba Sing Se about a month ago. His parents decided that opening another restraunt in the Earth Kingdom would turn a large profit. Daichi was going to miss Ember Island but he was excited to be in Ba Sing Se. Daichi walked out of his parents restaurant eating a piece of roast duck. He was on break at the time. The sun was high in the sky. It hurt his eyes to look at it because of working in the Kitchen most of the morning and afternoon. He had a bag of books and gold pieces on his shoulder. He popped open a book and sat on the corner as he read and ate. People stared at him for wearing the Air Nomad robes and Eating meat but he didn't care. It usually took people awhile to realize he was just a scholar of air nomad culture and not an actual monk. The sun continued to shine on him. His bronze amulet glistened in the sun. He finished off the piece of duck and cracked open his book. His eyes were focused on the book. People continued to walk past him as he read. He did not know that today something different was going to happen.

Youta Zhu	Youta was still walking down the street when he spotted something odd out of the corner of his eyes. It was an airbender sitting down and eating something on the streets. That wasn't what Youta thought was odd though, it was the fact that the airbender was eating what looked like meat but on top of that he also had hair. Youta didn't know much about the air nomads other than they were wiped out save for Avatar Aang nearly 2 centuries ago. Youta couldn't shake the fact that this boy didn't have any hair though. He was intrigued. He thought back to other encounters he had had with airbenders and although they weren't numerous, most of them had the airbenders living in temples and shaving their heads. They were usually vegetarians as well which the boy didn't seem to adhere to. Youta walked over to the boy and just stared at him for a couple of seconds. He didn't care that it would be a bit weird but he just couldn't figure out why this boy wasn't like the rest of his kind. "Is there some type of festival going on or are you actually an Air Nomad?" Youta asked blatantly

Daichi	Daichi looked up at the man. He looked like a man from the Fire Nation. Daichi remembered Ember Island and smiled at him. "Hi there." He said. "There is'nt really any festival going on I don't think. My names Daichi. I study airbending culture and monastic life. I just admire their culture. Not to the point to stop eating meat. I'm a chef here at a local restaurant the Blue Dragon." Daichi thought about him. He looked back up and thought he was a nice enough guy. Daichi did'nt have many friends so he could use a new friend. Mom kept telling him to go out and try new things. Maybe this was one of them. Daichi proceeded to put his book away and he looked up again at the man. "Even though I'm a non-bender I can handle myself in a fight pretty well with Martial Arts. I'll give you a discount at the blue dragon if you are hungry stranger." Daichi said Joyfully. "I forgot to ask. What's your name?" Daichi rubbed his Air Nomad talisman for good luck. He hoped he was doing the right thing.

Youta Zhu	Youta smiled when Daichi mention a discount in getting food. Hell Youta would have took a discount in anything, even if it was for waterbending lessons. The only thing better than a good meal, was a good meal that was also free and that is what Youta was going to try and do. He introduced himself to Daichi "Hi I'm Youta, a firebender but a good martial artist as well. It's a pleasure to meet you" he said. His tone had changed much be he had gone from cold and distant to being intrigued and actively pursuing a conversation with Daichi. "I've never heard of an Air Nomad who has hair and eats vegetables. I guess it's probably not going to be that uncommon in this day and age" Youta began stretching and then let out a chuckle, he was going to get straight to the point but he was going to make this fun. He didn't just want to get free food now. This man had just said that he was a good martial artist and Youta wanted to test that claim. "You mentioned a discount" Youta said pausing to change stretches "How about I make you a deal. If I can beat you in a fight you buy me lunch at your restaurant. If you win I'll go down and pay twice as much as normal" He offered.

Daichi	Daichi looked up at Youta yet again. A Smirk appeared on his face. "I always love a good challenge he said." Daichi stood up and lowered his bag to the ground. He motioned Youta over to an alleyway. "Seems like plenty of space here." Daichi said. Daichi stood in position and readied himself. As of late Daichi has been studying the technique that airbenders use when they fight. Daichi knew that these moves would'nt make him airbend. He wish it would though. He would always have dreams of being high in a temple. Playing with the lemurs and riding bison. Meditating under a bonsai tree eating an apple. Even thoguh he could'nt airbend maybe he could just move there and be a chef for the Airbenders? Daichi shook his head and refocused back on the challenge that was issued to him. Daichi jumped high in the air. Higher than he usually did. He was about a few inches away from Youta as he began to kick. Air. A slight gust of wind spewed about an inch from Daichi's foot. As he landed he had a moment of shock on his face. He could'nt believe what just happened. Maybe it was coincidence? Daichi then moved closer and did another kick. "Just so you know I have no clue what just happened. Daichi chuckled.

Youta Zhu	Youta pushed himself back as he saw a kick fly towards him, intending to stay out of Daichi's way. He didn't expect what happened next though. Despite dodging the kick Youta's left shoulder was hit by something that caused Youta to stumble back a bit. He regained his balance as Daichi spoke and prepared himself for what was coming next. Youta had thought over the explanations in his head and could only think of one possible reason for him having been hit. Daichi must have air bent somehow which meant that he wasn't actually a non bender. This was going to be more interesting than Youta thought "So much for you being a nonbender eh? You just entered the big leagues" Youta said with a grin on his face. "You better start mastering your airbending really quick" As another kick came towards Youta, he sidestepped and prepared to counter attack. He hadn't had much training in martial arts that didn't involve bending but firebending moves were extremely helpful even when they weren't being use to create flames. He wasn't however gonna start fighting empty handed against somebody who he was going to let airbend. He clenched his hands into a fist and released a burst of energy through them. Small, precise flames formed in his hands in the shape of daggers. This was something that could would help Youta that he could keep up for a long time. He dashed towards Daichi and swung his right hand towards Daichi's face with the daggers.

Daichi	Daichi was still in shock from is ability to airbend. Thoughts raced in his mind about how this could have happened. He had to be adopted. He thought to himself. As Youta's flame daggers rushed towards Daichi,Daichi began a jump in the air. His arm however was slightly burnt by the fire Dagger. That's pretty good. I'll show you a little something now. Daichi laughed. Daichi was'nt entirely sure what move to do next. He did'nt want to hurt Youta. He seemed like a nice guy. After all Daichi just discovered something he could only dream about. Daichi did another jump in the air and made a move against Youta. His fist clenched as he moved towards Youta's face. Suddenly something happened that Daichi did'nt expect. His nose was itchy as he began to sneeze. A gust of Air hurled towards Youta.

Youta Zhu	A punch coming from above was going to be an easy counter attack for Youta. He was probably going to be able to end the fight now unless Daichi could suddenly fly. As the fist came hurtling towards him, Youta also flew his fist forward which had become engulfed by a wild flame as opposed to the concentrated dagger it was before. Youta braced for impact when all of a sudden he heard a sneeze which caused him to smile. It was a bad move for Daichi, a sneeze could have him close his eyes so he wouldn't be able to see the fist even coming towards him. Youta had won the fight. It was about to be over. Or so Youta thought, the sneeze wasn't a regular sneeze and it was definitely not something that Youta expected. A gust of air flew towards Youta as Daichi sneezed and Youta had no way of dodging in time. His flames were extinguished by the air and he was thrown back by the gust. He landed on his feet, trying to stop himself from moving backwards any further. It was a powerful gust and Youta only just managed to stop himself from crashing into a wall. This was the type of fight, Youta loved. He was going to hold back of course, Daichi had only discovered his powers but Youta was still gonna make it hard for Daichi. "Prepare yourself Daichi!" Youta shouted "Don't hold back!" Youta dashed forwards in Daichi's general direction but stopped running whilst still quite far away from him. Instead of carrying on running, he used his momentum to launch himself in the air and started flipping in mid air. As his flip was about 1/4 of the way done, Youta's right foot started to produce a flame which grew as Youta continued flipping. As Youta completed the flip, the fire formed into a stream and flew towards Daichi, splitting into 3 different streams as it approached him and as Youta landed in a crouch.

Daichi	The Flames were fast approaching Daichi. His life flashed before his eyes. Something interesting caught his eye. He was in an air temple. There were two people that were taking turns holding him. One looked like a monk while the other looked like a nun. There was alot of laughing and kindness. His mind then flashed to being taken away. He saw half the Earth Kingdom from inside a carriage. He then saw his parents take him from the Earth Kingdom. The rest of his life was shown. Daichi stood up and blew a gust of wind. It wasn't a very even gust but the gust was able to extinguish two of the flames. The other flame hit his arm very hard. Daichi fell to the ground. Daichi looked up at Youta. You win stranger. Daichi chuckled. Its on me. You are going to love the grilled salmon. Daichi picked up his sack and started the walk back to his restraunt. Thoughts buzzed in his head. He was going to settle this with his parents.

Youta Zhu	Youta let out a chuckle as he walked over towards Daichi. It wasn't surprising that he had won against Daichi. Youta had spent 5 years of his life practicing firebending almost non-stop under his master whilst Daichi was somebody who had discovered that they could airbend in the middle of a fight. It wasn't a fair matchup but Youta wasn't going to turn up free food, especially if it was as good as Daichi claimed it was. "Let's go then" Youta said preparing to follow Daichi. Youta wondered what Daichi would do now, especially since he was going straight to talk to his parents. He seemed young but Youta couldn't have been much older than Daichi when he left his home. The most likely possibility was that Daichi was going to train at one of the air temples. He wondered if they would accept somebody like Daichi who didn't really adhere to their principles. "You better improve that airbending" Youta said "Next time we fight I better only beat you by a slim margin" he chuckled

Daichi	Daichi chuckled at Youta. He looked behind the counter for the menu. He found a menu and handed it to Youta. He also grabbed some gold pieces from his pouch and gave them to Youta. "Do not tell my mother I gave you this." Daichi proceded to sweep the floor and try his airbending to move the dust away. Daichi accepted payment from another customer as that customer left. It was already about 4:00 in the afternoon. The Menu Read as the following. Youta Zhu	Youta looked at the menu and wasn't surprised to see the wide variety of food available. 180 years ago each nation would probably only serve food from their own nations. He had heard of the colonies which would have mixes of Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom food but that was pretty much the extent of that. Youta loved the fact that places like Ba Sing Se were multicultural because it meant he didn't have to travel very far to get a taste of the different nations culture. Whilst eyeing the menu he quickly skipped the Fire Nation section. He had ate at several restaurants in the Earth Kingdom that claimed to serve Fire Nation food but they couldn't compare to the meals that were made in his homelands. They were good imitations sure but he just didn't like them as much. After looking over it he decided to go with the General Iroh Chicken. A meal that seemed to be named after the famed general who had both tried to siege and liberated Ba Sing Se.

Daichi	Daichi walked into the kitchen and prepared the strangers order. He was absolutly nervous about telling his mother he was adopted. He however needed to focus on the chicken. He placed the chicken in the skillet with chili peppers and started to toss it. "Hi Daichi how was your afternoon?" Daichi's mother said. Daichi looked at his mom with a nervous grin. "It was okay I guess. Can you get the sauce ready for the chicken?" Daichi asked. As his mom began to make the sauce Daichi decided to spill the beans to his mother. He just had to say it. He couldn't wait any longer. "I'm adopted." Daichi Said. His mother dropped a bucket of water and looked at him. She put her hands over her face. "I knew this day would come." His mother said. "Just get the food finished. It should be our last order of the day then we will talk." Daichi looked back at his mother. "I have a kind stranger that helped me figure this out. Also I found something that I absolutely love." The two cooked the food in the kitchen. It was early dusk and the two brought the meal out. Daichi's father walked into the restaurant up stairs to deal with finances and investments. Daichi walked over to Youta. "One order of General Iroh Chicken. This dish has been cooked to perfection served with a side of rice and cooked apargus. The chicken itself is to symbolize Iroh's fire nation heritage,the asparagus for the liberation of Ba Sing Se and the white rice to symbolize purity. Also have some complementary Sake.

Youta Zhu	Youta had a smile on his face, today was going to be a good day and he was happy that he had ran into Daichi. He'd gotten free food and that was amazing and it looked delicious. To top all of that off he even got some free sake which was the icing on the cake (There probably was some icing on a cake in this store but that was irrelevant). He thanked Daichi as he prepared to start eating his food. He'd definitely picked the right dish and he was going to savour it all. It wasn't a regular occurrence for Youta to buy food from others. On the road he had usually cooked for himself and whoever he was traveling with at the time. It was nice to mix it up sometimes however and Youta was doing that just now. "So, how'd your parents take the big news?" Youta asked Daichi. He didn't know exactly what Daichi would have said to his parents but he had to have at least told them that he was an airbender. Youta hadn't talked to his parents since he had left home and started practicing his firebending. He just left without even telling them where he was going.

Daichi	Daichi pulled at a chair out and sat down with Youta. Daichi had a bowl of rice and began to Eat. "She always knew I was adopted but not that I'm an airbender." Daichi sighed. "I haven't even told her I'm an airbender." Daichi's mother walked past the counter and sat down with the two. "I overheard your conversation." His mother said. "I understand what its like being adopted and not knowing who your real parents are." She sighed. "To top it all of you found out you can bend." Daichi's mother put some salt on her chicken that she had in front of her. "I'm originally from the Earth Kingdom. My Husband and I were raised in the Fire Nation. He was a Fire Bender and I was an Earthbender that didn't know she could Earth Bend. Regardless Daichi you have found out you can do something you have studied and loved your whole life. I'm proud of you." Daichi looked at his mother and asked her. "Did you ever have a lead on who my real parents were?" His mother looked at him. "Come to think of it I didn't think about it actually. I remember reading about a group of raiders attacking an air temple and taking the child. That was most likely you." "I know what I have to do now." Daichi said. He smiled and laughed. "I finnaly have a larger goal in life. To seek my heritage and roots and to master airbending. This also gives me the perfect oppurtunity to get a real glider! Not this crummy old staff. You know the one I've been looking at it the merchants corner? The Airbender guy that sells stuff from the Temples?" His mom laughed again. "Now that you know where you come from I guess you can have it. Its coming out of your pay thoguh Daichi!"
