Breaking Limits Empty
PostSubject: Breaking Limits    Breaking Limits EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 2:21 am

The time at hand was sun rise, so very early in the morning the bright light of the dark red sun shined not as bright as it could but as time moved on so would the power of the light. The air felt almost like reality was telling a story, or a small tale that needed to be finished and the race has not even started yet but the fight will never stop, no the fighting will never stop. WAIT HOLD UP THE SHIKYO BROTHERS ARE GOING TOO HAVE A FULL OUT DUEL ~ The Crew members been wanting to see this ever since they met Kaigen, a man who was imprisoned by his own kind of people who branded the term peace in everyone's mind - Kaigen showed off his skills as soon as everyone met him by simply the event of breaking out and the fighting skills he showed off ... Kaigen was far from a push over.

A man who's morals he have been finding out are all sounding like lies is always searching for a better piece of himself - we can get to that later but now we got something to actually watch. The land is perfect, oh so perfect as it was finally time for both brothers to really push themselves up a notch - Kaigen eyes opened up as they both agreed on ten minutes of mental preparations and stability, Kaigen was counting the seconds and once it was ready his eyes opened up and his vision and mind was as clear as the visions of the avatar; He was knelled down on one knee with one hand on the ground - Pushing that to a standing position ... he was ready.

His attire was a grey outfit pretty much with a brown hard staff equipped on his back as his feet and hands were as bare as a bear. His hair danced in the wind and his body loosen up to a very easy point of evasive movements and swift attacks .... His blood was boiling like this fight was going to be his last. The setting was a dirt road, period - very large and all the crew was sitting on the side lines ready as Kaigen was the first to speak with the most heart in his voice.

"Ready when you are"

Breaking Limits Empty
PostSubject: Re: Breaking Limits    Breaking Limits EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 2:52 am

To the crew members who had joined before Kaigen, it was a fight they had been hoping to see ever since Kuro had one shot that brat who thought he was a pirate. Since then, they had never seen anyone literally melted to the bone. Of course it was obvious this wouldnt be nearly as brutal, with the two being brothers and all. Not that one could tell from how different they were. They may look similar, but it was obvious they could not be more different in personality. Kaigen was outgoing, while Kuro was an introvert. Kuro was the kind of guy who could stab you in the back and have you believe it was someone else. Kaigen, while not by any means stupid, was not. The two fit each other as siblings perfectly, even with the sibling rivalry. Admittedly, adding bending and lethal weapons to a rivalry was never the brightest of ideas, but it would be fun. Ever since Kuro's long time sparring partner had vanished, he felt bored. He needed a new one, and he knew it, he was just unbelievably lazy. It came with the kind of freedom he had as a pirate captain. If this fight proved fun, his brother may very well be his new rival. Kuro was giddy as hell for this fight, because no one else gave him a challenge anymore. Well, no one he would fight at least. He wasnt about to challenge the fire lord to an Agni Kai. He, unlike some, had some fucking common sense.

Kuro often gave advice he never used himself, such as the point of fighting your opponent on your turf rather than theirs. Why? It was ridiculously simple really, seeing as Kuro was known to turn that advantage against them in a heartbeat. Fling a rock at him? He will use that rock to cause an avalanche and burry your sorry ass. He thought on his feet, and he had never met anyone better at it. Most people went into fights with major plans trying to bring the opponent to a lower level and absolutely debunk their power. Kuro was the ultimate weapon against those types of fighters, as he thrived in improvising, so much so, he was nearly a legend because of it. However, in a close fight, such as hand to hand, it was hard to improvise, so he used the simplest ideas to counter people. A common mistake people say is that if a man with no fighting style fights a martial artist, the martial artist will always win. Kuro points out the smarter and more creative person wins, by being unorthodox. A great weakness of any martial art is how structured it really is, with limited flexibility, though some of the female practioners would surprise you, and generally a lack of adapting. Kuro was all about adapting, it was that kind of fighting that brought out the fun of a fight, the reckless behavior that could topple nations. It was the uncaring but undefeated style that he loved so much.

Kuro grinned at his brother, standing about ten feet away. "hand to hand, then we move to weapons, then to bending." He was never one to talk during a fight, unless he was far away and safe, so he kept it short and sweet. He flew forward, practically gliding on the ground towards Kaigen. As he neared him, he raised his right arm up, aiming at Kaigen's face. However, as he aimed the punch, he jumped forward, adding his momentum to the punch. Before his fist would have hit Kaigen's face, he shifted his left arm, aiming to slam his left fist right into Kaigen's stomach, in an uppercut. It was a simple misdirection tactic, but if he had to take the lead in this fight, he was not holding back. He was far better at defending than attacking, but it would do for a starter. After this, Kaigen, regardless of if he dodged or blocked, should take the lead and start attacking, if not, well that would not be pretty. Then again, when was any fight he was involved in 'pretty' by any definition? Though, some of the women he fought... Well, it never ended up the way he expected, that was true. Like that time he was fighting that weird water bender, when suddenly a giant fucking snake swallowed the poor bastard up. He was rather used to unexpected endings at this point really. Strange things happen to strange people.

Breaking Limits Empty
PostSubject: Re: Breaking Limits    Breaking Limits EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 3:50 am

Ten meters was mid range, ever see the floor cave in right under a man and he fell straight to his death? Shit like that wouldn't happen in fights like this. Ever see a person get burned in an limb to the point where they had to rip it off just to live? Fuck that let's get straight to the action, ten meters really could improve if the fighters wanted too but at the end of the day it was to push limits not nearly kill each other even though that possibly could be the only reason that happens. His older brother spoke up as the direction this fight was actually heading and it didn't matter if they could have a contest on who could make Shi-Hao orgasm faster he was oh so ready for this. The younger brother by a few months nodded, took a few seconds for the tension to kick in before the time turned into turning points.

They both actually started movement at the same time, and oh boy were they fast but there was a big difference in movement type -- Older brother was running and Kaigen did front flips as his hands touched the ground his flips were very structured as his crew members watched as it was about to spark off! A slow motion of the camera was needed for this moment of climax - His special skill was activated and with it the exact moment his brothers movement changed he stopped in his tracks and as his brother came down with his first attack; seems basic right? Kaigen would start his counter tactic by swinging his right leg in a round kick due to his legs being long and giving mid range the kick would be used to completely redirect his opponent slash brother attack and hand in the direction of the left of Kurokon body at an attempt to turn him just a bit and due to the fact that he was not on the ground it would give a grave opening - lets go for it shall we? Not giving up any time the jabs came quick towards his opponent left thigh - three of them were aimed Chi blocking style after that came a powerful elbow to the side enforced with his other hand to bring enough power to impale or try to stumble him ... fair game it was his brother move now whats up bro??

Breaking Limits Empty
PostSubject: Re: Breaking Limits    Breaking Limits EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 4:21 am

The counters were impressive, but one major flaw happened. What was the greatest type of counter in hand to hand combat? It was the one which used someone's momentum against them. Kuro specialized in fucking people's attacks up, and he was oh so proud of it. So proud, that he used it constantly. It was why he rarely attacked, but mostly countered. Of course when he did attack, it was usually just as lethal and precise as his counters, but counters were more... fun. Yeah, lets go with fun. Do you know what happens when one can turn your attack against you? You fucking die. That, or you magically appear unscathed, with some back up plan that makes less sense than half the creatures in this god forsaken world that the two brothers lived on. It happened quite a bit, but Kuro was the type of guy who would still crush someone's ass, probably using their own back up plan. Thats what he did, turn shit against people. He was like what would happen if a politician suddenly learned how to fight just like how they talk, diversions, countering, distractions, and an unbelievable fountain of bullshit so high its like a mountain. Kuro knew many things, shit that had no place in a fight, but he could still use it if he needed. So what possible counter would he have against a few chi blocking jabs? Well, he shifted his stance, and placed his knee up to block the strikes, hopefully hurting Kaigen's fists. If youve ever punched bones, especially the kneecap, you know how that shit feels.

Onto more important matters, such as how to deal with that kick, that was simple. Kuro shifted his stance to block the strikes of the chi blocking, but he also turned, and leaned away from the kick, softening the blow. He then wrapped his arms around Kaigen's leg, and twisted his upper body around, while also pivoting on one foot, pulling Kaigen's leg with him. Hopefully, this would catch Kaigen off guard, and he would be able to finish the move. He pulled downward and around, trying to slam Kaigen into the ground. Now, by no means could Kuro just throw Kaigen like a rag doll, but this move was designed so that he wouldnt have to, by pulling the heavier part of the body with him, in a twisting motion, he lessened the weight Kaigen would normally be considerably. All things considered, even an untrained, average joe could pull off such a move, if they could catch the kick right. That said and done, Kuro also released Kaigen's leg before he hit the ground. If he kept a hold of it, it was likely Kaigen would just kick him in the face, and as anyone with common sense will tell you, that is not a good way to win a fight. It was also not a good way to get face reconstruction surgery. He certainly didnt want that.

Moving on, if that succeeded, Kuro would simply wait for Kaigen to move again. An opponent on the ground like that was even more dangerous than standing up, if they did it right. Then again, if you do anything right, you could pretty much take over a country with a penny. It was all about luck, speed, and the element of surprise. Oh, and how smart both participants were. Knowing Kaigen, he would have a back up for that, and Kuro was content to wait for it, or react accordingly. Kuro was always the patient one *coughbullshitcough*. Well, in this kind of situation, he could wait a single post. Not like he really had a choice. Admittedly, he was already having fun, he couldnt wait for the next two sections of the fight. Then again, he could be fighting a kitten and have fun, he could also be getting his ass royally kicked and still have fun with it. Why? He enjoyed everything in life, from the smallest victory, to the biggest defeat. Whats the point of living if you dont enjoy it? Even if Kaigen won this, he was happy. Brothers are brothers, I suppose.

Breaking Limits Empty
PostSubject: Re: Breaking Limits    Breaking Limits EmptyFri Oct 04, 2013 5:40 am

This is one of those confusing parts of a fight where you just kind of roll with the shit and move past the confusing part - And pray to a god that a guy like me don't believe in that the shit don't happen again, I guess people don't like getting confused. So due to Kaigen only placing a certain amount of strength into the punches it negated its power and was successfully blocked - but next time it will have too be different because of certain opponents bright and upbringing personalities. The kick came in or second kick ..

. not sure because I'm still FUCKING confused BUT I think I can coordinate this to go correctly. As he watched and sensed his opponent lean he quickly placed his foot down, negating his attempt not that he knew it was just common sense told him better. He jumped backwards one time getting three meters of distance, once stepping foot on the ground he busted forward and right when in range he threw three random punches, two too the body and one too the stomach, he reeled the hands in each punch so they won't be grabbed or countered easily.
