[OOC--this is a random RP that I am having with myself to have Zulera and Meili battle. There's not really a huge purpose to it other than for ridiculously awesome badassery to ensue, and for my wacky sense of humor.]

Meili Mitali Zalika	The Great Divide seemed like an odd place for an invitation to see the Avatar, but Meili had a feeling that she knew what this meeting was all about. This was a wide open range for them to go blow shit up and cause mass carnage far away form civilization. The canyon crawlers would just have to deal with it. Cracking her knuckles, Meili waited for her opponent. stamping her feet and shifting her arms, she began forming large buildings out of the rock, as if to create obstacles for her and her quadribending opponent. Soon enough, a topless woman in blue came into view. Meili shook her head at the Avatar's strange quirk, but to her surprise, the Water Tribe woman actually put her shirt back on as she approached the Earth Queen. "I set up the arena for us." she motioned around. "and obviously... I got your letter. We've met before... so we don't need introductions. This is going to be a long, hard, no-holds-barred ass-whooping. The only rule is that we stay in the arena. Anyone who passes by and wants to watch is free to... but if they die, it's just collateral damage. Nothing to worry about. She extended her arm to see if the Avatar would accept her terms. "And one more thing." she added, "no dying. You're not some half-baked Avatar-in-training. you're the real-deal."

[OOC part deux--this is not just for post count. it's just a number and I don't really care about it, despite being #1 on the list. mehz.]

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	It was not like Zulera going topless was exactly a new thing, but for this battle, she was going to win, and she would do it with her shirt on. She was surprised that the Earth Queen was already waiting for her. "Huh..." she quipped, "you actually showed up." She also noticed the arena. random buildings and walls... obstacles ripe for destruction. "Not bad." she nodded approvingly. "so... now we senselessly smash each other's faces in with no mercy? It's not like you'll have to worry about me dying anyways. I'll just reincarnate, while your whole kingdom will fall into another wild succession crisis." She grinned as she shook the earth queen's hand. Surely she might have triggered some sort of reaction from the older woman, although she waited until their hands slowly stopped shaking until she did anything. Instantly, she sprang into action, using fire and airbending to launch herself in the sky. Not concentrating on her height, she instead focused bringing down a rain of fireballs onto her earthbending "nemesis". She could not hit what she could not reach.

Meili Mitali Zalika	"Bitch, I was worried that you wouldn't show up." Meili quipped, pimp-slapping the Avatar because she could. Acting like nothing had happened, she also ignored Zulera's comment about a succession crisis. It just meant that now, she was going to kick Zulera's butt twice as hard. slowly, their hands stopped shaking, and then the fight was on. The Avatar was fast; already flying and raining fireballs at her. However, Meili was smart. She jumped up onto one of her stone "buildings" to give her a closer reach to the Avatar, and began launching streams of rocks in rhythmic patterns. She knew that the Avatar was not used to such order while fighting. She followed up her attacks with a large wall of rock that she hurled at Zulera like a giant spinning square. She also jumped, as one of Zulera's fireballs had slammed right next to her feet, chipping off a large chunk of the rock column she had been standing on. "Oh no you just didn't." Meili cracked her knuckles. It was time for a new plan. First though... time to see how Zulera reacted to her onslaught.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera was nearly knocked out of the air by the flying rocks. Damn, for a squat little earthbender, Meili sure was fast. Perhaps she should not have pumped her fist when her fireball struck the building Meili was on. Oh well... two could earthbend. Still levitating, Zulera used powerful bending to bring Meili's miss projectiles back towards her, although instead of smashing her, they formed armor around her, which caused her to fall. This being Zulera's intent, she hit the ground and caused the earth to rumble. she directed the faultline towards the earth queen, already planning her next move by unleashinvg a torrent of water. She split it into two parts, one going to Meili's left, and the other two her right. "Run, run, little earth queen." she gloated to herself, as she was glad that she finally met someone shorter than her. It was a little OCD of hers.

Meili Mitali Zalika	She watched Zulera plunge to the ground and already knew what would happen. No one would make themselves an earthbending deadweight unless they were trying this... she sprung up and flipped away from the fault line long before it could hit her, and brought up walls of rock to block and deflect Zulera's water jets. the rock was highly compressed so that it would not shatter when the water hit it. Still. it was forceful enough that the stone walls, several feet thick, did crack. Calling upon the power of the silver mountain, Meili lifted her dress briefly to pull a coupld of long metal shards out from under it. Weilding these like blades, she surrounded herself in rock armor, charging towards the Avatar. The rocks and fireballs and water jets that were launched at her were deflected with cunning skill and swipes of her blades. "There's a reason I'm the Avatar, child." he grinned, engaging in close combat with the waterbender, "and it's not just because I'm a good stateswoman!"

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	"Last I checked," Zuelra taunted, "water was known for DESTROYING rock!" she threw powerful bolts of water at the incoming rocks. However, she underestimated their size, and so instead of shattering, they simply cracked,. and thus collided full on with Zulera. Feeling like she had been hit like a train, the Avatar was not done just yet. Just a black eye... probably two. there were no mirrors for her to check out her appearance... or if that was sweat or blood dripping down her forehead. When Meili brought her blades to Zulera, she responded with metalbending of her own, brandishing two large, wicked-looking daggers. the two of them had a swift knife fight, each one almost reading the other's mind, and thus most of their moves got blocked or parried. Zuelra spun around rapidly, slashing at Meili and rolled out of the way to prevent Meili's jumping stab attack from plunging into her skull. Smiling, she glanced at Meili. "you seem a decent person... I'd hate to kill you." Noticing that Meili had paused as well, she was sure that the Earth Queen would have a reply. If not though, she kept ehr guard up anyways.

Meili Mitali Zalika	Meili could not help but laugh at Zulera's gloat, which was promptly followed by her getting slammed in the face with Meili's stone. Yes, it was truly a glorious thing. Bonus laughs came for her noticing that Zulera's eyes were both black from the hit, and her forehead was bleeding. Locking in combat with the stunningly fast Avatar, their blades clashed, steel clashing with steel as sparks flew from their rage-induced dagger fight. Meili held various defensive poses that stopped Zulera's mad spinning rampage of attacks, hoping to wear her stamina down by staying relaxed and enduring her offensive onslaught. "You seem like a really nice person." She said with a smirk, "I'd hate to die." Following up, she made stabbing motions with her blades, and then lifted one of her legs to kick at Zulera with a rock-covered leg. even if the kick itself missed, the rocks from around her leg flew after her.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera was too quick to allow Meili's rock-leg to hit her. Besides, if it had, it probably would have shattered her leg, despite how muscular the Avatar was. After jumping back, she inhaled and spewed a mighty blast of fire, following immediately up by jumping and bringing her blades slamming down right where Meili had been standing. However, she would have had to stand still for over 5 seconds for all of these attacks to hit. That was just to get her back in the game and keep the Earth Queen on her feet. Lunging forward, she began throwing massive rocks and fireballs, following up with tendrils of water,. However, this was a mixed blessing because most of them that missed hit some of the "buildings" that Meili had created, causing massive chunks of falling rock to come tumbling down towards them--something Meili would surely exploit. Then again, she was a master earthbender as well, and decided to push forward as well. "YOU READY FOR THIS?" she laughed, thrusting her arms forward and launching a few of the fallen rocks towards her adversary.

Meili Mitali Zalika	The Avatar's tactics seemed to counterbalance Meili's, for she was offensive while Meili was defensive. Thus, she had answers for Zulera's attacks. As she inhaled, Meili dove underground, hearing the flames sear the rocks above her, immediately followed up by blades plunging into the ground. Meili surfaced several feet away, zigzagging around to avoid Zulera's insane attacks. A few grazed her, and one even scraped the side of her face, but she was a resilient figure who did not even flinch, despite the blood leaking out her face. as the rocks tumbled down around them and Zulera bellowed her taunt, Meili nearly erolled her eyes. "Take a guess, dumbass." she quipped, stamping her feet and zigzagging so that the rocks would come at the Avatar from all angles, and also aiming some at the other rocks so that they would collide with each other instead of with her body.
