Youta Zhu	Youta sighed with relief as he finally saw a small inn. He had been travelling for days and had finally found a place where he could sleep in an actual bed. He was wearing his usual black vest and baggy trousers. His straw hat covered most of his head only allowing small strands of hair to pop out from underneath. He had on his back a small bag which contained his Fire Nation clothes and some food. His Dao swords were both in their sheath on the left of his waist whilst his pouch with money in was now in his hands. It was approaching night time and if Youta carried on any longer he would probably get swamped by bandits. Well that was the lie he told himself to make this waste of money seem like the right thing to do. His clothes were dirty and rugged but as soon as Youta opened the doors to the inn and the noise erupted loudly. It seemed more like a tavern than an inn and it certainly sounded like it. Drunkards surrounded the tables and the bar was the only place where there seemed to be people working. Youta shuffled his way through the crowd of drunk men and women, attempting to get a sear at the bar. He clutched his money and made sure the pouch was very tight as he walked in. Laughter and singing filled the bar whilst the smell of alcohol and what Youta assumed to be scented candles filled the air. He finally managed to find a seat near the bar which seemed relatively empty compared to the rest. 4 or 5 seats unoccupied and that was probably the most room he was going to get. "Is this an inn?" Youta asked one of the many bartenders. It did not seem like it, but Youta hoped that it was with all he had. "Yeah it is. Top two floors are the rooms, this ground floor is the bar" The bartender replied. Youta let out a giant sigh of relief. He paid the bartender the necessary amount for one night and then looked around the bar. It was much to early for him to go to sleep, but alcohol was not one of Youta's favourite liquids. "Do you serve tea?" Youta asked with a commanding tone. "Of course not, this is a bar" the bartender retorted. It was going to be a long night for Youta.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Gaoling... Zulera had memories of this place that were mixed between fond, hurtful, and confusing. Surely the life of the Avatar was never a dull one, but with Zulera, there were already more chapters in the last few years than some people ever wrote in their entire life stories. Perhaps there was an advantage for her, having to basically inevitably travel the world to learn and master her elements, for Zulera did not want people coming to her. She wished to seek them out, in that case. That had been what she had done, and she had done so surprisingly quietly. She had never really been one to flaunt her Avatar status, and so most people just knew that the Avatar was some wild Southern woman with intricate tattoos and bare feet. Her mother had never given her any special treatment because of it either. She treated Zulera no different than her other children, not really caring either that her daughter was the Avatar. Thus, Zulera simply grew up seeing it as extra abilities, but that did not really set her apart. This also had her being very down-to-earth, and so despite her many eccentricities and oddities, it was easy to get along with Zulera. The drinks in Gaoling were nice enough, and so Zulera was quietly sipping her own as she let the rambunctious sounds of the drunkards around her occupy her mind as the booze began its work on her mind. She had not had much, but had had a few drinks to loosen up. At the moment though, she sat quietly at the end of the bar, dropping coins for the barkeep when she wanted another drink, but otherwise remaining oddly quiet. More power to the one that figured this woman out. She did let out a distinct chuckle when she heard a man ask for tea. He had come to the wrong place if that was the case. But, other than the laugh, she did not get too involved--it wasn't her business, and she was too tipsy to give a damn.

Youta Zhu	Youta heard a small chuckle and turned to face it. It was quite hard to tell where it came from but it was either from the woman who seemed to be from a water tribe or the gigantic monster of a man near the bar. Common sense dictated that it was obviously the woman. She was probably a traveller, like most people in the bar. Youta would usually have just dismissed the chuckle but he had nothing to do and no one to talk to. A little socialising never hurt anyone. "Glad I amuse someone at least" He said clearly aiming it towards the woman. Youta removed his straw hat and placed it on the counter before him. His hair sprung up from underneath the hat. It had been on his head for a long time and therefore Youta's hair was messier than usual. He straightened it out as much as he could with his hands and most of the hair which was once spiked up was now facing down. He faced to turn the bartender after having done that and decided that a few drinks wouldn't do him any harm. However his willingness to hand over money for something unnecessary prevented him from doing so. He ended up deciding to part with his money to get an alcoholic beverage. A nice cup of sake would probably be enough to get him started for the night. He ordered just that and ended up paying the bartender albeit very hesitantly. It was at times like this that he wished he had never left home. Everything he wanted was catered for him there and he never had to worry about a place to sleep. However the wonders of the world and travelling just seemed to outweigh it. Nearly every night he would think about returning home, only to completely forget about it the next day. He took a sip of his drink and tried his best to hide his disgust. "This is what Gaoling calls sake?" he mumbled to himself before putting it down. More money had been wasted and Youta had just arrived.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera's interest piqued. it was not often that someone noticed her laughing in such a rowdy place, but Zul was used to surprises and used to being ready for anything. she turned to face the stranger, not giving her name, let alone her identity. she watched the man order a drink as she continued to softly sip her own. it was strong, and she was contemplating just tilting her head back and draining it, but she didn't want to draw attention to herself. Well... not till she lit it on fire and THEN drank it or something. he had to choose the sake though. had Zulera known him as a friend or as a newcomer to this part of the Earth Kingdom, she might have dropped him a pointer or two. For one... why oh why did he have to get the sake. "psst." she whispered, "you shoulda gotten the fire-whiskey. just sayin..." otherwise, she quietly went back to her drink. Something told her that this was going to be a pretty epic night if things kept going like this. Zul had a back knack for being places where there was never a dull moment.

Youta Zhu	A firebender from the water tribe? It had to be some type of trick but it looked like the woman had just conjured up fire, something only a firebender could do. Then common sense kicked in and Youta just shook it off. It wasn't that hard to get a hold of clothes from different nations and this woman had probably done just that. Another fire bender this far away from home. At least they had something in common. The only thing that came as a shock to Youta was the fact that she had fairly dark skin, a characteristic of people from the water tribes. Common sense just wouldn't let Youta forget about it though and he soon realised that she probably had a parent from one of the Water tribes Her advice didn't go unnoticed and when Youta heard it he instantly turn to see the price list. The fire whiskey wasn't that expensive but for a traveller like him, everything was expensive. He chuckled as he turned back to face the woman and said "For that price, I'd rather drink this thing they try to pass off as sake". He wasn't going to enjoy drinking the sake but he had paid for it and he was very well going to drink it. Downing it in one big gulp he fought the urge to pull a disgusted face and then gently placed the cup back on the bar counter. "The name is Youta" he told the firebending woman as he turned to face her " It's a pleasure to meet you, advice woman?"

Hirako rode into Goaling tired and in bad shape he has been traveling for quite some time. He felt as though he were to fall of his ostrich horse Luna if he didn't get to an inn soon and rest for the night on a real bed. It was a rather gloomy night for traveling. The past couple of days there was rain and winds where Hirako was. But Goaling just seemed to be quite the peaceful place. Hirako tied up Luna and strode into the bar ordering a drink and sat down in the corner of the bar. He takes off his hood to reveal a rather tired face.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	boom. her drink was on fire, and it felt quite stimulating going down. she did belch after she emptied her glass, spewing a small stream of flame upward. it was not enough to hit anything (not even the ceiling; for it fizzled out before that point), and so there'd be no damage from this fire-spitter. Zulera gave a chuckle at the man's remark. "I'm pretty sure it's just piss. then again, that might taste better anyways." she quipped. she had another mug of fire-whiskey at the ready. this was the best stuff to set ablaze with a touch of firebending, as the name indicated. for now though, Zulera let it set while her body processed the one she had just drained. "Zulera." she gave her name. "or just Zul. take your pick."

Youta Zhu	"Well it is a pleasure meeting you" Youta said to Zulera. He would atleast have company for a while. The woman still intrigued him though with different scenarios playing in his mind. An assassin on a mission to assassinate someone in the water tribe or a spy trying to gather information for the Fire Nation. Youta let his imagination run wild as he decided to order another sake. It was the cheapest thing on the menu by far and he could tell why but if it could get him through the night then it was worth it. The bartender slammed another cup of sake on the counter and Youta grabbed it. However this time instead of just downing the thing in one go, he decided to take his time with it. It still tasted like crap but he was going to get his moneys worth. Through his travels Youta finally got to understand the value of money and although he had a surplus he would never want to waste anymore. It was like he was turning into his father. He turned to face Zulera once more, the cup still in his hand. "So Zulera." He said, taking a sip after pausing "What are you doing in Gaoling?"

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	"And you as well." she nodded in agreement. In truth, Zulera was an exotic woman. Even her blue water tribe clothing had some oddities to it, such as those metal-plated gloves she wore, as well as her distinct lack of footwear. Her wild hair, electric blue eyes, and tattooed skin just added to it (although with her current state of attire, none of her tattoos were currently visible). Still not ready to touch her second mug, Zulera reignited what was left of her first one and then fully drained it. It was an interesting question that was posed to her, and so while she nodded to acknowledge him, she did not answer right away. "I am not entirely sure." she confessed. "my feet sort of just brought me here, and so here I am." such was the life of the wandering Avatar, but even then she had not disclosed that information yet,. He might have already known it anyways, but she didn't care either way. "and how about you? surely fate didn't bring you here the way it brought me here, did it?"

Youta Zhu	"I'm not really that strong a believer in fate. If anything brought me here it was being tired" Youta responded with a joking tone. She didn't sound like an assassin or anything but that was the whole point of an assassin. There was no point in delving into her background though. It was clear that she was a firebender so at least they had something in common and something to talk about. He continued to drink his sake, still taking his time. The more the drank it the more it became tolerable. Not good but it didn't taste like the piss he had downed a couple of seconds ago. Zulera seemed to be an interesting character. She travelled just like Youta but her goals were not clear to him yet and he doubted they would be. They were just strangers who were meeting at an inn. "At this time of the night I'd assume that you too would be sleeping at this fair inn" He said to Zulera. Just small talk for now. He wasn't going to get into the origins of the world or talking about his personal life with a stranger he had just met. However after a few drinks that would probably be inevitable. Youta always seemed to be a lot more 'philosophical' after a few drinks.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	"If I believed in fate, I wouldn't play life's game with loaded dice." she laughed, leaning her head back. this time, she threw a bit of waterbending into the mix of things, using it to bend a dollop of whiskey from her mug into the air. as it arced upwards and towards her mouth, she used a couple fingers from her free hand to set it on fire before it landed in her mouth and she swallowed. in theory, she had just nonchalantly exposed that she was the Avatar, but that never really concerned her much anyways. It wasn't so much a secret as simply Zulera thinking it wasn't relevant to bring up. she chortled slightly at his remark. "I am a creature of the night." she indicated, "although aye, I've got a room here that I'll get back to eventually. Surely there's a reason why you're asking, per chance?" she figured that he had something else in mind, but maybe he didn't. she didn't really care either way; willing to go with the flow, whichever way it went.

Youta Zhu	Well what Zulera had just done was very much impossible. She had clearly just bent two elements and that simply didn't happen. Was this woman some type of witch or a special human? Then it clicked in Youta's head. She was a special human, this woman had to be the avatar. It was the only explanation. It wasn't everyday that you met the Avatar in an inn. What would she be doing in a place like this? It all made sense nevertheless, her clothes, her skin colour and the double bending. Then he heard her response and his mind wandered a bit but not very far. He had just met the Avatar and that wasn't something he was going to forget for a while. "No particular reason but if you are hitting on me then I do prefer a drink first" Youta joked. He was a lot calmer than he thought he would be. He maintained the same calmness as before his revelation but in his head he was still in shock. He just joked about flirting with the Avatar, to the Avatar. There was only a handful of ways that this could not backfire.

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Word-of-mouth was usually the most common way for people to know that Zulera was the Avatar. other times, she usually showed instead of told. That was just how she was. She was not usually one to make a big deal about it. she mocked surprise when he suggested that she was hitting on him. "hitting on you?" she chuckled, "it almost sounds like you're hitting on me as if Iw as someone important like the Avatar or something?" she didn't mind joking about it once the secret was out. She did very much enjoy surprising people with it though, like she just had. "and I might add, that I'd first need a backrub or something." she laughed, repeating her waterbending-firebending trick with another shot of whiskey.

Youta Zhu	"A backrub? At least take me out to dinner" Youta joked once more. The avatar was just a normal human. Well other than the fact that she could bend all four elements. The initial shock seemed to be wearing off and Youta was a lot more relaxed. It didn't take him long to finish his sake and so he ordered another one. It still didn't taste amazing but if it was going to get him drunk then so be it. He could spend money on the others but they were all just going to achieve the same thing so the cheaper one it was. The bar was still loud and it seemed that everywhere Youta turned people were fighting, singing or dancing. I certainly do hope that the rest of Gaoling isn't as loud and dangerous as this place Youta said. The noise better die down when he went to sleep.

Those waterbenders were resilient folk. even little Zulera in all of her 5'4" glory was no exception. she was used to the rambunctiousness of the crowds. She preferred silence herself, but wasn't afraid of a bit of danger--or especially not of a bit of crazy. that was basically part of her character; how could she not be part of it? "you might be able to find a place or two." she quipped, "especially if it rains. Me though... I'm drawn to chaos like a moth to the flame. I revel in it, as it is a beautiful and exciting thing. I'd wager you're unlikely to have much luck in this part of town though..."

Youta Zhu	Youta gave out a small laugh as he heard Zulera talk about chaos. He wasn't attracted to chaos but chaos did seem to have a way of finding him. He took a large gulp from his sake and put it down, signally a refill. "Chaos.... Chaos finds me but I do not seek it. Power is everything and knowledge is power. To obtain knowledge however can be very difficult and require one to take action. If anything I am drawn to power and as luck would have it I stand in front of one of the most powerful benders in the world" . Youta did not enjoy chaos but he did what he needed to do and if chaos and pain became a part of that then anybody who was involved was expendable. Youta could only dream of having the power of the Avatar and somehow he had found his way to her. Youta picked up his refilled sake and gave the bartender some money for it. He drank it and the alcohol burned as it made it's way down Youta's throat. "I don't mind the loudness" He said after placing his sake down " But I sure as hell would like to get some rest tonight".

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	"Chaos pushes us out of our comfort zones and makes us think;" Zulera cooed, still staying rather flirtatious. "so you were drawn to me... was it that my power was expressed in such a beautiful shape?" she batted her eyelashes at him. She was tipsy, but she'd remember that she was flirting like this. Zulera was just weird like that. she listened to the rest of what he had to say, and with another flaming shot, she chuckled. "well, it might be tricky if you were planning on sleeping in the next hour or two, but after that, I think it usually dies down. What are you going to do in the meantime?" if she was insinuating something, she did not make it clear. Most likely, she was jsut being curious and playful.

Youta Zhu	Youta let out another small chuckle as Zulera asked him the first question. She was flirting with Youta and Youta was not the type of man to act shy and coy. A traveller didn't really have time for romance or anything of the type so Youta acted when he could. This time it just happened to be that Zulera was the one he was talking to. " Well, you can't have power without a beautiful woman. It just seems to happen that you are powerful and beautiful. What a wonderful world. He chuckled as he responded. He was now mostly just taking big gulps of his sake now and the bartender was just keeping a tab of what and how much he was ordering. Then came the next question and Youta stopped and slowed down his drinking, returning to sipping it. The sips were much larger than before but sips none the less. After letting out a sigh of content he answered the question. " Well that depends. For now I'm most likely going to be here in your lovely and astounding presence and later I'm probably going to be in bed. Whether I am sleeping or not sleeping on the other hand is completely out of my knowledge" He joked as he returned to his drinking

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera giggled. "there's even more beauty beneath the blue." she winked. while it was not exactly clear what she was referring to, her clothing was almost entirely shades of blue, so she might have been referring to her physical form beneath her clothing. Whether or not she was insinuating that it be removed... was in the air. Zulera liked leaving things unanswered at first. Zulera flipped her hair playfully. "and so what are you going to do in the presence of a beautiful woman? drink yourself under the table?" the way she worded it almost made it sound like she wouldn't mind the idea herself, but at the same time, there was no real predicting Zulera here. She seemed to be going off of nothing at all, making things up as she went.

Youta Zhu	"Well I'm not a big fan of the sea but it's got to be wonderful under the blue" he chuckled. While flirting with Zulera he had almost forgotten his environment but it didn't take long for the loud laughter to fill his ears again. It seemed that this sake was worse than he thought. Either he didn't realise that he was getting drunk or the sake wasn't having as much of an effect on him as it should. Either way, Youta was going to carry on drinking, deciding to take his drinks more slowly now. And then she spoke once more. Youta kept his sake in his hand and leaned onto the counter with one elbow on the counter and his head lying on his open palm. "A man like me would never allow that to happen. How could one waste such an opportunity to talk to an extravagant woman like yourself Zulera?" He responded. " I would much rather delve into your mind and find out about you. And then maybe later I can delve into something else" He continued ending with a loud chuckle .

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera giggled, running her gloved hands over her abdomen. "I'm sure it is." she teased, finishing her drink and ordering just one more. "in fact, I know it is, and let me tell you... it feels wonderful." she giggled a bit more, setting another shot of whiskey on fire as she bended it out of the glass and twirled it around in the air for a moment, making a little swirling ring of fire. she downed it playfully, before taking long shot from the mug itself. "delve into my mind or my clothes..." she grinned, "feel free." Both Zulera's mind and body were laced with intricacies of their own. Zulera was not usually one to tell much about herself right off the bat, but if someone asked about something regarding her, she'd most likely answer it honestly and simply. there was a lot that went on in the mind of this mysterious woman. they were just barely scraping the surface so far.

Youta Zhu	Youta's evening was turning out to be a lot more eventful than he thought it would. Had he not met Zulera when he did he would probably just be drinking by himself bored out of his mind. At least now he had someone to talk to. Well flirt. That was pretty much all they were doing but for now Youta did not mind. He continued to play along, hell maybe he did have a chance but for now he was just going to live in the moment. "delve into my mind or my clothes...feel free." said Zulera after finishing her previous comment. Youta knew that it was his cue to talk now but he was going to drink some more of his sake first. After taking a sip he put it back down on the counter and still in the same position as before responded "I intend to do both" with a grin on his face ." But infront of these" He said signalling the drunken and loud men and women "I shall only do one, Theres plenty of time for the other though. So while we wait I would love to learn about how you ended up in the beautiful city of Gaoling"

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera giggled, hiccupping once before grinning. "well... unless you wanted to hit that room a little earlier..." she joked. well, her shirt would come off easily enough anyways. Zulera's back had enough mesmerizing patterns on it. "Gaoling to me holds many memories..." she explained, "although I simply came back here as a wanderer. There's always some kind of happening here... and it seems I was correct, yes?" she was swinging her feet casually under the table, occasionally, curling her toes over one of the rungs of her stool. she flipped a few wild bangs out of her face, and finished her drink.

Youta Zhu	"I'm in no rush to go anywhere" he chuckled "I would much prefer to take my time. It would make it all the more sweeter in the end.". Youta was enjoying himself and after a long time on the road he felt that this was what he needed. He had a place to sleep, company and all the cheap sake he could afford. Youta straightened himself, finished his sake and slammed the empty cup down on the counter. He stood up swiftly and held out his hand towards Zulera. "It does seem that you were correct" he said taking quite a long pause before continuing" but less about the city. More about you. Would you care for a dance?"

Zulera Joanna Tallarico	Zulera laughed. "fine, I'll play your silly little game." she teased, although she was fine with waiting for it, or even if it didn't happen at all.She just liked playing games. "there's never a dull moment when I'm around. too orderly..." she giggled, "I will. I will indeed." this was in reference to the dance, as Zulera had taken his hand and stood up. Despite her large hands and feet and her shorter stature, Zulera was actually a good dance. the foot of height difference did not bother her, for she did not think about it. once she had started dancing, she was wild and free, and possibly helped by the fact that she was tipsy. she looked to be having fun though.
