Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	The tale of Tarek and Sanaki is a lengthy one that spans over the period of many years. a story of coincidental meeting, a mutual understanding, and a passion for expression, and a passion burning as brightly as the flames they both wielded. what began as a friendship soon grew into close friends. soon close friends became boyfriend and girlfriend. soon that became fiance/e. soon, the two had married. months of dating and associating with each other on their free time had paid off. the story did not stop there though. soon after the two had wed, they gave birth to beautiful little twin children--a boy they named Katsuo, who came first, and a girl they named Kaede, who was second. this is their story--the story of a close family bond that has remained strong in the last 6 or 7 years that the little family has been together. where one chapter ends... a new one begins...

Tarek Raiden	Tarek and Sanaki as well as their two six year old children, Katsuo and Kaede, arrived at Ember Island late one fine summer’s morning. Tarek held Sanaki’s hand as he climbed off the boat, in an instant a small figure leapt up onto his shoulders and held around his bald head tightly. “Let’s go to the beach Daddy!” Katsuo said with excitement as he rocked back and forth tugging at Tarek’s head, giggling all the way. “Katsuo! Calm down…we have only just arrived!” Tarek said with a laugh. Katsuo was a very excitable and mischievous boy, which wasn’t a bad thing. Tarek looked around when he noticed someone was missing, “Where is Kaede sweetie?” he asked Sanaki as he looked back onto the boat.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Sanaki enjoyed coming to ember island. she enjoyed the outdoors, the smells, the beaches, the sands, the breeze... everything. now that she had a wonderful husband and two beautiful children at her side... it was just made that much better. when asked about Kaede's location, Sanaki paused and went back to the boat, scooping the little girl out with one arm. "c'mere you!" she laughed, "We're at the beach!" Kaede's little eyes lit up as she looked around. "WOWWWWW!" she exclaimed, "it's so pretty!"

Tarek Raiden	Tarek laughed at his daughter’s comment and took Sanaki’s hand as he walked off the boat and onto the beach, with Katsuo still on his shoulders. They had arrived at their private beach house and Tarek was glad to get away a bit with his family. They all entered the house, unpacked, and soon emerged wearing their bathing suits. Tarek and Katsuo sported orange Fire Nation style swimming trunks. Tarek was carrying some towels under one arm and was holding little Kaede in his other. Katsuo ran ahead insisting to carry the umbrella, which he swung around like a sword as they walked to the beach. Tarek chuckled and bounced Kaede around in his arm for a while before turning to Sanaki. “You going to swim sweetie?” he asked softly.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Sanaki was happy to be with her wonderful family in their own private getaway. with Kaede in her arms and her husband and son beside her, she couldn't have been happier. after going inside to change their clothes and coming out in their bathing suits, they headed towards the beach. Sanaki also had on a pair of less formal slippers that she would take off once they set up, or if she got into the water. her bathing suit was revealing in nature just as most Fire Nation ones were, though nothing was hanging out, so to speak. it did show off her beautiful curves and her long, toned legs. Kaede's was similar, though simpler in design. otherwise they were the same. Sanaki was of the belief that children might as well just dress like their parents. she nodded at Tarek. "I might, lovee. I'll wait a bit to see what the kiddies do first." soon they arrived and began setting up. it was a beautiful day.

Tarek Raiden	Soon Tarek, Sanaki and the kids were set up on the beach. Towels were neatly laid out and the umbrella was jutting out of the soft, golden sand. Tarek took Sanaki’s hand gently and sat down with her on some towels, under the shade of the umbrella. “You two go play a bit, we will join you later.” Tarek said to the twins with a smile as he ran his fingers through Kaede’s hair. Katsuo grinned and grabbed his sister’s hand, “Let’s go!” he shouted running off with her excitedly. “I wanna make a sand dragon!” Tarek laughed as Katsuo ran off, half dragging his sister. He looked at Sanaki and put his arm around her. “Ten gold pieces says Kaede makes Katsuo’s sand dragon a flower crown…” he said with a chuckle as he pulled her close to him and kissed her cheek.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Sanaki relaxed under the shade of the umbrella, her little beach slippers still on too. she gave each of her kids a peck on the cheek before they ran off to play in the sand and the surf. "okie daddy!" Kaede cooed as she followed her brother. "let's do it!" Kaede agreed, wanting to help him build something. Sanaki snuggled next to Tarek. "you're on." she grinned, "that's totally in her nature." she nuzzled against his cheek, softly listening to and sensing their little kids running around in the sand. life was good, and she was happy.

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo pulled Kaede to where he thought was a good spot. “Here!” he exclaimed as he dropped to his knees and started digging furiously, throwing handfuls of sand behind him, and directly at his sister. Tarek in the meantime held his wife close and let his fingers run through her long jet-black hair. The scene around them was pristine and Tarek spent a long time just enjoying it and taking it in as he snuggled with Sanaki. Pretty soon Katsuo had heaped up a good deal off sand and had sculpted it into something that crudely resembled a dragon. “Yay!” he shouted as he ran off to call Tarek and Sanaki. “Daddy! Mommy! Come and look at my dragon.” He shouted enthusiastically as he tugged at their feet. He pulled so hard that Sanaki’s slippers came clean off.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede nodded and soon they began building a dragon, Kaede getting out of Katsuo's way at first, but after they had finished, she put a pretty little lei of flowers on its head, beaming.she guarded it to make sure that her brother didn't just wreck it. Sanaki enjoyed the scenery, listening to her children build the sand-dragon, and listening to the waves, the breeze, and the soft comforted noises that she and her lovely husband made. ^^ soon they had fnished and raced back to their parents to show them what they had made. Katsuo was so eager that he pulled Sanaki's slippers off. "oh!" she exclaimed, standing up and locating them, but otherwise leaving them off. "let's go see it..." she took Tarek's hand and followed Katsuo's hand back to the dragon where Kaede was standing proudly next to the mound of sand, proudly guarding the flowers on its crown.

Tarek Raiden	Tarek happily followed as Sanaki grabbed his hand and went walked after Katsuo who was running at full speed towards the dragon, kicking up large amounts of sand as he went. Katsuo got to the dragon and held his little head in his little hands. “Kaeeeede! You ruined it!” he shouted as he saw the little flower crown on its head. “Dragons don’t wear flowers! They’re girly!” he shouted as he stomped his foot. Tarek and Sanaki were close behind and Tarek laughed when he saw what happened. “Looks like you owe me ten gold pieces sweetie!”

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede stuck her tongue out. "I didn't ruin it! it's a girl dragon, because girl dragons can have baby dragons!" she replied. Sanaki smiled as she and Tarek walked towards it, and when they saw it, Sanaki couldn't help but chuckle. "that I do, lovee... or perhaps a favor or two later..." especially since they shared money, living together now and all that...

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo shook his head furiously. “Nah uh! He’s a boy dragon! ” he insisted as he tried to force his way past his sister to remove the flowers from his precious dragon’s head. Tarek smiled mischievously at Sanaki’s remark, and responded with a suggestive wink. He then turned to the kids, chuckling a little. “Okay you two that’s enough...both of you did great jobs!” he said with a proud smile as he lifted them both up in his arms. “Why don’t we go for a swim?” he asked enthusiastically.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	"nuuu!" Kaede squealed, holding her brother back, "it was a boy last time!" Sanaki giggled as she sensed the little argument between her kids, and giggled coyly at her husband. "you know what I like... and I know what you like..." she whispered softly. "yeah!" Kaede threw her little arms excitedly into the air. Sanaki stood up, nodding in agreement. hiding emotions was one of those things she had trained herself to do all her life. in most cases, it was to remain professional. nowadays, it was to remain a strong role-model for her children. she would never show them her fear of the water, and she knew that Tarek wouldn't ever spill it without her permission. the water was one of the few places where she was truly blind; unable to see or sense anything around her. she usually clung to Tarek when in there, which, frankly... neither of them minded. still... Sanaki's confidence (and lack of shame even, in some cases) was not something she wanted to fracture while her children were still so young.

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo waved his arms into the air as well, really excited about taking a swim. Tarek propped the kids up onto his shoulders and grinned at Sanaki as he offered her his hand and walked up to the ocean. Tarek stood in the shallows and smiled at Sanaki as the waves pushed back and forth over their ankles. Katsuo’s eyes widened as he leapt right off Tarek’s shoulders and right into an approaching wave. Tarek laughed as Katsuo disappeared beneath the waves for a moment before popping right back up grinning wildly. He lowered Kaede down gently and ruffled her hair before turning to Sanaki. “Shall we join them sweetie?” he said as he placed her arm around his.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede giggled as she was hoisted up, and she smiled at Katsuo, patting him on the back. when they reached the water, she plopped down into the sand and water, and hugged both Tarek and Sanaki before running out into the waves with her brother. she vanished beneath them, only to emerge with her face covered in hair--very similar to the way her mother would. xD Sanaki gladly took her husband's hand as they had approached the waves, and soon her feet were under, causing her senses to become slightly blurry as they always did. "yes." she replied, though she kept holding his hand. unlike the children, Tarek knew Sanaki's fear of the water, but she was confident in knowing that he would never let anything happen to her. that was all she needed.

Tarek Raiden	Loud giggles erupted from the water as Katsuo purposely let the waves violently throw him onto the beach, only to let the ocean suck him back in and start the process all over again. Before long his hair and swimming trunks were full of sand. He soon decided, however, that it was time to pester his twin sister a little. He giggled madly as he made a huge mudball and lobbed it in her direction. Meanwhile Tarek waded into the ocean, tightly holding Sanaki’s hands, soon they were waist deep in the water. He turned his back to the incoming waves, almost as if he were half shielding Sanaki from them as they approached, luckily they weren’t too large. He waded in further and pulled Sanaki towards him, wrapping his arms around her as they bobbed up and down in the waves. “You okay sweetie?” he asked softly, just making sure that everything was fine.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede submerged herself repeatedly, enjoying the cool water as it washed over her. she shook her hair and let the water fly from her long strands. she jumped into the waves as well, getting herself covered in sand that she washed off by jumping into the waves. Katsuo's mudball hit her hand. "Hey!" she shouted, "I'ma get you for that!" she reached down, made a mudball, and flung it back at him. Sanaki was not afraid, per se. she just felt very vulnerable when in the water. however, when she was with Tarek, that vulnerability dissolved quickly. as they bobbed up and down (and went deeper into the water) she stayed close to him, but avoided getting clingy. "I am fine, lovee." she smiled. "thanks for asking." she kissed his cheek. "I will always be fine when you are around."

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo laughed loudly as the mudball hit his sister, but his laughter soon stopped and his eyes widened as Kaede reached down to make a mudball herself. He took an enormous breath and dived under the water, holding his breath for as long as he could. He even tried swimming around a bit, to throw Kaede off, but soon he had to come up for air. He burst out of the water with a cough when he couldn’t hold his breath any longer. Meanwhile Tarek was enjoying himself with Sanaki. He smiled from ear to ear as she kissed his cheek, “Good,” he said in response to her statement with a chuckle. He held her lovingly against him as they floated in the clear, blue ocean which Ember Island was famous for. Tarek always kept an eye on the kids, and chuckled as he saw how they were playing together.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede laughed when she noticed her brother's reaction, and was smart enough to know that just because he disappeared under the water did not mean she could not follow him. she scooped up a mudball and tiptoed after Katsuo as he swam through the water. when she saw him coughing, however, she had a better idea. she dropped her hand back in the water and sprung at him, giving him a big hug and a playful smooch on the cheek. she knew he'd hate it. xD Sanaki smiled when he kissed her cheek, and she nestled herself against him, the smoothness of her warm, wet skin soothing to both of them. she nodded at his remark and closed her eyes. she felt comfortable and safe right now, and her children were having fun. she could not ask for more.

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo flinched as he emerged from the water coughing, expecting a mudball in his face at any second. Instead Kaede snuck up on him and gave him a big hug and a playful smooch on the cheek. Katsuo’s eyes went as big as dinner plates and he flailed his arms wildly in the air as he let out a big. “UGGGHHH!” He dove in the water and rubbed his cheek furiously, intent of getting all the “girl germs” off him. “Kaede!” he shouted as he re-emerged from the water. Tarek laughed and explained the scene to Sanaki, since she was essentially blind in the water, as he held her close to him, enjoying the feel of her smooth, wet skin against his.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede just giggled. "I love you, Katsuo!" she sang, and she skipped off to a different part of the water. She knew he loved her, even if she did have "Girl germs". she watched Katsuo to see what he would do, and she was more than prepared (and more than happy) to give him another huggie and smoochie. ^^ Sanaki rested in Tarek's embrace, enjoying the feel of their smooth, wet skin against each other's. she closed her eyes and listened to his description of the scenery, enjoying what she heard, and most importantly, enjoying being with none other than her beloved husband.

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo was still rubbing his cheek where Kaede kissed him. “Don’t do that!” he whined, looking towards his parents. He felt very embarrassed about being hugged and smooched, although he really did love his sister. As she skipped away, he ran after her, giggling as he splashed her playfully with water. “Let’s play Zulera and Novai!” he said enthusiastically as he stuck his chest out and laughed maniacally, making two little flame balls in his hands. Tarek smiled happily as Sanaki rested in his arms and he quietly described the scene around them. He knew how much she loved descriptions and he happily gave her quite a detailed one. Of course, being the only one of them to be able to see now, Tarek had to keep an eye on the children the whole time, although it didn’t stop him from enjoying the closeness with his wife as they floated together in the clear blue water. Tarek chuckled as he looked down on Sanaki’s cute face and showered it with playful kisses.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede just giggled. "I love you too, Katsuo." she teased, playfully splashing around in the shallow water. she glanced around just to check where mom and dad were, and when she saw them out deeper than her, she just went back to her business. she just wanted to make sure they were close by. He got her attention again when he splashed her, and she turned. "Alright!" she grinned. if she had not been in the water, her little top probably would have come off. she splashed at him to imitate water, and threw little clumps of mud to imitate earth. "I'll get you this time, Novai!" Sanaki closed her eyes, listening to the description. luckily the children were playing in the shallow water, and she had no need to worry, even though she could not sense them. "I love you..." she whispered again, butterfly-kissing his cheeks as sh let him shower her smooth, wet face with kisses.

Tarek Raiden	Katsuo ducked and dived out of the way of Kaede’s splashes and mudballs. “Ha! You won’t beat me Zulera!” he shouted as he threw a bunch of little fireball into the water in front of him, making a little cloud of steam. As soon as he felt he was invisible, he leapt forward, tackling his sister with a loud giggle. Luckily the water would have made the landing quite soft. Tarek smiled happily, he loved butterfly kisses, whether they were from his adorable little girl, or his beautiful wife. “I love you too sweetie…” he chuckled as he squeezed her lovingly in his arms. The pair of them had been in the water for a while now, and Tarek started heading back for the shore, he knew that Sanaki didn’t like to swim for to long. On their way out, Tarek noticed the kids playing Novai and Zulera and let out a small chuckle as he led Sanaki out onto the beach, brought her towel and helped her dry off.

Sanaki Calameda Zelgius	Kaede laughed and splashed Katsuo back. "you cannot beat me, Firelord Novai! I am too sexy!" she giggled and pretended to rip her top off. as her brother started making the steam, Kaede backed up warily, her vision decreasing in the fog. When she was tackled, Kaede squealed, going under. however, she was fine with that, and she sprung back up, splashing a huge wave of water at Katsuo's face. "I'll get you for that!" Sanaki did not need to respond, as she could say "I love you" and "I love you too" back and forth with her lovee for hours on end without getting tired of it. Thus, she rested happily in his embrace. She was even fine with staying in the water as long as he was in there with her holding her. As Tarek made his way towards the shore, she smiled sweetly at him. "they're beautiful, aren't they?" she smiled, casting her head in the direction of their kids, letting Tarek dry her beautiful body off. ^^
